Chapter 2 - World of Unimaginable Hope

The metallic taste of the palate began to weigh more in size. It was disgusting, it was like a stench that would stick to your mouth, or when you would accidentally breathe in a perfume spray. It was long-lasting and it got on my nerves.

That's when my world started to spin. Colors of shadings merge, and objects around started to dissipate. My feet that were touching the ground felt like they were floating. My limbs were outweighing the other. The head, that I owned, felt light and at unease.

Soon my vision dissolved in a shadow of darkness, it wearied itself upon my eyelids.

I awoke to a tranquilizing light. The wool cover below me was tender and silky. My eyes flutter opened, and was greeted by the sound of talking. "Hello…?" The room instantly came to a silence. "He's awake! Everyone he's awake! " There was an abrupt trumpet of cheering and joyful screams. "Ah… it's loud." My senses have become more evolutionary sense, and the cons outweigh the pros. Fortunately, it seems like they heard my voice, and the cheering came to a stop. One thing is, it was an unpleasant scene to start out with. "So, what is this… Place?" I asked, looking around, it was gorgeous. Trees of all kinds and undiscovered stood tall and lean, while the skies were in a constant horizon. There were ivory pillars which were purposely built to a curve, and animals freely romancing around. Flowers of all kind spread the ground. Unimaginable colors opened to my eyes. …

Although, I said this, I felt strangely connected to it. I felt inclined to this place. While I was, gazing at this desirable place, I heard small whispers. "He cannot, not, know what this place is, Right?" A mutter that slid out of someone's mouth, accidentally or not. "Has he lost his memory?… Poor he…" Constant muttering like this hit me hearing hard, and it was slightly irritating. Apparently, someone saw that, and halted the murmurs.

"It is disrespectful, to talk about somebody right before their eyes." A man with a boastful voice said, he was in a white cloth clothing. A trimmed beard, with a golden trident, with stems that were braided into the mimic of ropes that led up to the arrows, small sparks of lightening hovered over it. At the end of the weapon, it was carved into a spear. "I agree." A female said that stood right beside them. She had long platinum blond hair, with piercing brown eyes. She wore an outfit in the image of an outfit from the medieval period.

The crowd looked at me with great sorrow, and I nodded with a slight smile. There was a state of relief as people went off to their duties. I planted my hands on the wool blanket as I stood up. When I felt the ground below my bare feet, I realized I was in different textures of clothing. I was in loose pants, which had a transparent layer, with a solid layer under it—the transparent sheet was longer than the solid color. The pair of pants tugged on my waist, as there was another sheet clothing tied on my waistline, the thin layer of blanket had been hand-trimmed on the front, while it was longer in the back. I wore a long white blouse, it was unbuttoned. Only a white strap was holding it together.

My pale skin had gotten smoother and soft. As I was taking slow and small steps, the beings who cancelled the gruff speech that was toward me, were in front of me. They were both taller than me as I had to look up. "Hello?" I spoke to them.

"Hello, My name is Vrev Holrost." The male said.

Vrev Holrost, the heir. The Holrosts, are known for battlefield and war, as they are courageous warriors.

I do not know how I know this information, it simply just came to mind—like an instinct.

"I am, Lasharen Stokforn."

Lasharen Stokforn, her family is quite famous for being a traitor but claimed that they came to their senses and went back to serving their ruler.

When did I ever found out about this? This new information was basic, but mind-blowing, as my memory never welcome this fact until now. "Acardia Lucian, is mine." As I introduced myself, the two looked at each other in an expression that is unidentifiable.

"Mr. Lucian, you seem to have lost your memory."
