3 weeks later… Kakashi had finished his first mission and Ryuu went for a medical review from Tsunade.
"To be honest, I'm surprised you've recovered so quickly, I was guessing a month later, but it seems you're fine now, all scans in your system say so, now it just depends on how you feel."
Tsunade said as she handed Ryuu his scans.
"Finally! I was getting tired of being treated like this and sitting still while Kakashi went on missions."
Ryuu said as he jumped up from his wheelchair.
"So I'm guessing you're fine now?"
He nodded.
"Thanks for treating me Lady Tsunade, I'm going now." He said as he teleported.
"That kid is always in a rush."
She said as she slapped her forehead.
"I'm Home!"
Sakumo had been staying at home until I healed completely, he would send Kakashi to buy things since people wouldn't sell their products to him and he wasn't even training.
"Someone else is here." He sensed someone fleeing from his home, but he placed his seal on him.
"So you're finally healed." Ryuu nodded.
"I feel so much better than before, there's something different but I don't know what it is," Ryuu said.
"Well, it doesn't matter what it is, I'm just glad I don't have to take care of you again." He said.
"Anyway, where's Kakashi?"
"He said he's going to train," Sakumo said.
"Aren't you going to go back to being a shinobi? You're one of the most respected Shinobi in Konoha, you should go back."
Sakumo stopped what he was doing and said.
"I don't think I can, no one needs the White Fang anymore, they don't respect me anymore, I don't think they'll accept any more."
Ryuu shook his head.
"There's nothing they can do to take away the respect you earned."
He shook his head.
"The whole village has betrayed me, there's nothing I can do to regain my respect."
Ryuu folded his fist.
"That's where you're wrong. If you truly believe you've lost the respect of all the villagers, they've already beaten and broken you."
He widened his eyes.
"Ryuu…"
Ryuu activated his Sharingan.
"Come with me." Ryuu teleported with Sakumo to the top of the Hokage statue.
"What are we doing here?"
He asked.
"Follow me." He nodded.
They went into the forest, Sakumo was following Ryuu from behind, but he stopped.
"Ryuu, what's going on?" He asked.
"Look over there, he's been following you for a long time, I placed a seal on him as soon as I reached home, once I did that I just waited until he got far enough, I tried tracking him but I couldn't he went too far, even for me."
He nodded.
"Who is it?" Ryuu shrugged and said,
"We're about to find out."
'Shuriken multi shadow clone Jutsu!"
The shurikens hit the target.
*Poof* he turned into a log of wood.
"Fire style Fireball jutsu!" He jumped from behind Ryuu and shot a massive fireball towards him.
"Ryuu, watch out!"
Sakumo warned him.
The Fireball hit Ryuu, and he just absorbed it, sparks started flying and I was entering Phoenix Flame mode, his whole body was on fire.
"What is that power?" Sakumo asked himself as he stared in awe, he stood back because the heat was too much.
I directed a weaker version of Phoenix flame to his hands to keep him from doing any hand signs.
After that, I went back to normal, and Sakumo was still in shock.
Ryuu grabbed him and brought him over to Sakumo, he wore the uniform for Root members and a mask to conceal his identity.
I tied him up and unmasked him.
"You!" Sakumo said.
"You're part of the root?" Ryuu was confused, he didn't know what was happening.
"How do you know this guy?"
He folded his fist and said, "he was with me in that mission, Akira what are you doing with such an organization?"
He didn't respond.
"He has a curse mark on his tongue, he can't speak about Danzo or roots business."
Ryuu said, and Sakumo nodded.
Ryuu quickly did some hand signs.
"Usually this curse mark would require a sealing master to remove it and even if they remove it, the one who has been given the mark will die, but that isn't the case here, release!"
Ryuu broke the curse mark on Akira, he was now defenseless.
He put him in a powerful genjutsu with his Sharingan and found out everything that Danzo had planned.
By the time he was done, Akira was sweating and shivering, as soon as Ryuu was done he collapsed.
"What did you find out?" Sakumo asked.
Ryuu frowned and folded his fist.
"That piece of shit bastard Danzo!"
His flames built upon his fist.
"What is it?"
Ryuu reached out to Akiras' pocket and found a scroll and gave it to Sakumo.
"This is…" He folded his fist his chakra built up and let out an immense pressure in the air.
"That old fool Danzo."
"I've never seen him this angry before," Ryuu said.
"He planned all this and if you failed to kill yourself, he was to assassinate you when no one would care, he endangered the village all in a search for power."
Both Ryuu and Sakumo's anger had built up beyond limits.
"Ryuu, I have to tell you, last year I found a letter to warn me that Danzo was going to make a plan to kill me because I could stop him and the one who wrote that letter was your father.
Ryuu's eyes widened.
"I found the letter as I was giving you the death blade."
Ryuu nodded.
"This isn't the time to bother ourselves here, go back to being a shinobi, if you don't go back, then Danzo wins, and we don't want that, do we?"
He thought about it, then nodded.
"On one condition." Ryuu nodded.
"If you and Kakashi hit me once, then I'll go back and I warn you, I'll be trying more than I used to, plus I feel better now, so you better give it your best."
Ryuu nodded.
"I have to see what that power is."
Sakumo said to himself.
Ryuu teleported to Kakashi with Sakumo.
He was training with Minato and Jiraiya.
"Ryuu? You're healed!" I nodded.
"That's right, I can't wait to get back on missions, and I'd be able to join you too, Kakashi." He nodded.
"I hope you guys don't mind, we came here to steal Kakashi for a little spar."
Minato shook his head.
"No problem, we were on our break."
Ryuu smiled.
"Anyway, Kakashi, it's time for that fight we've been training so hard to do."
His eyes widened.
"You mean…"
I nodded.
"What's going on?" Jiraiya asked.
"We've been training this hard for so long so that we'd be able to beat him."
I pointed at Sakumo.
He nodded.
"We've been training so hard to even land a hit, he's too fast," Kakashi said and I nodded.
Minato's eyes widened.
"You mean he's that fast?" We both nodded.
"I hope you don't mind but, can we watch?" Sakumo nodded.
"Sure, no problem."
He smiled excitedly.
"Wait one minute." He teleported and grabbed Kushina.
"Minato? Why did you bring me here?" She asked.
"Well, I didn't want you to miss this great opportunity to watch the White fang of the leaf in action." She slapped her forehead, but seeing how excited he was, she watched it as well.
"Kakashi, take this." Ryuu tossed him a pill to restore his energy and chakra.
We got to the center of the training ground.
"Both of you, good luck, I won't go as easy as I did when you were young, but I also won't fight you like an enemy."
We nodded, he took out his blade and entered his stance and so did Kakashi.
I took out a kunai.
Ryuu and Kakashi quickly glanced at each other.
Kakashi threw a smoke bomb to distract him, and Ryuu threw a kunai towards him
"Flying Raijin Slash!"
*Poof* he widened his eyes.
"A shadow clone?"
"But when did he?" Both Ryuu and Kakashi were stunned.
Ryuu activated his Sharingan to see better.
"Fire style Fireball jutsu!" He shot out a fireball towards Kakashi.
"Earth-style mud wall!"
His wall was holding well, but it left him open for an attack.
"Kakashi, look out!"
Ryuu teleported behind him and blocked Sakumo's kick.
He grabbed Kakashi's sword and tried to counter him but that failed, Sakumo launched back and started weaving signs, Ryuu tossed the sword back to Kakashi.
"Wind Style: compression bomb!"
Ryuu didn't have enough time to react and got hit, he flew backward while rotating, luckily he teleported away.
"Boom!" Kakashi got kicked through the wall he had created.
"I see, he's separating us, in that case."
"Multi-Shadow clone jutsu!"
Ryuu made dozens of clones, and they spread out on the training grounds.
"Hmph, that would work usually but just not against me," Sakumo said as he used transformation jutsu to disguise himself as one of Ryuu's clones.
"Now!"
Ryuu's clones entered Phoenix Flame mode.
"I see, Ryuu made his clones enter Phoenix Flame mode so that he can identify Sakumo-sama because he can't transform into that."
Minato analyzed Ryuus's tactic as he watched.
Jiraiya and Kushina slapped their heads, seeing how serious Minato was focusing.
"Alright Ryuu, I admit you've beaten me there, but let's see how you deal with this!"
"Water-style water dragon jutsu!"
He used the water from the training grounds and made a massive water dragon.
"Hmph, this won't put out my flames."
The water Dragon hit all of his clones and large amounts of white smoke came, but just as it was clearing out.
"Fwoosh!" Sakumo appeared out of nowhere and attacked Ryuu from behind.
"He's faster than before." He said as he blocked him.
The two clashed, everyone was impressed Ryuu kept up with him, even though he was holding back.
"Alright then." He swung his sword so quick Ryuu couldn't read his movements.
And got hit, but he turned into lightning.
"What?" Sakumo was stunned and couldn't move.
"Boom!" Kakashi came up from the ground and hit Sakumo with an uppercut.
"We did it!"
*Poof*
Sakumo disappeared into a cloud of white smoke.
Everyone was stunned, "when did he-"
Ryuu was cut off by Sakumo's blade on his throat.
"Impossible."
Jiraiya said,
"Sakumo-sama, have you gotten faster!?"
Everyone's jaws dropped.
"That's impossible, you've just recovered, and you weren't training the whole time at home, how could this be?" Ryuu asked.
Sakumo just smiled
"That was impressive coordination, I'm proud, but if you don't mind me asking, when did you get the chance to enter the ground and when did you learn that move?"
"Not that it matters, but It was part of his plan, to begin with, Kakashi went underneath basically as soon as we started the match, when he threw that smoke bomb at you I saw it as a chance and created a shadow clone and made it fight you while the real me transformed into Kakashi, then just before you finished off with him I quickly swapped places with him before you realized."
He smiled and nodded.
"A well-thought plan, just so you know, I was still going back to the Hokage's office, whatever the outcome was in this match."
I smiled and nodded; he removed his blade from my neck.
"That was incredible teamwork from both of you, it would've worked if I was slower."
Both Kakashi and I dropped our heads.
