Chapter 47 - Medical Ninjutsu

Ryuu left to go find Jiraiya and ask him about Sage mode.

"GRRR!" His stomach was growling.

"But first I'm going to have some breakfast, I'm starving."

He teleported back to his room where he would encounter Kakashi.

"Kakashi? What are you doing here?"

He asked.

"Well, I was looking for you but I couldn't keep up with you, so I decided to stay where you always come back to after every morning."

He Replied.

"You were looking for me?"

Ryuu asked as he got his things.

"Yeah, yesterday we saw how that other kid spoke to you and wanted to say something but before we said anything you teleported out of there."

"Oh, sorry about that."

Ryuu said as he scratched his head.

"No problem but could you try walking or running next time, it's annoying when you just vanish."

Ryuu chuckled.

"Well, you wouldn't catch up to me even if I run." Ryuu jokingly said.

"That's probably true, but at least I would see where you're going," Kakashi said.

Ryuu nodded.

The two went to eat breakfast.

"Ryuu, I heard you convinced Lady Tsunade to come back to the village and teach you medical ninjutsu," Sakumo said.

I nodded.

"That's amazing, you're friends with all the legendary sannin and Lord third!"

Kakashi said.

"Ryuu is a lucky kid and he has some sort of compulsion that draws people to him."

Sakumo said.

"Well not everyone," Kakashi said.

"Hmm? Is there anything that's going on?" Sakumo asked.

"Oh no, it's not that much of a big deal," Ryuu said.

"Stop lying, yesterday some kids refused to allow Ryuu to play football with us because they believed it would be unfair."

Kakashi said.

"Well I'm more surprised it took this long for them to start treating you like this."

Ryuu and Kakashi's eyes widened.

"What do you mean?" They asked.

"Well, Unfortunately, talented people like you two are always going to get the attention that's why other villages are terrified of Konoha, we've produced many talented ninjas and this is only the beginning."

Ryuu and Kakashi finished eating, since today Kakashi didn't have to go to school he went with Ryuu to find Jiraiya.

He was still asleep in his room.

"Jiraiya-sensei wake up, I need to ask you something!"

Ryuu yelled as he banged on his door.

"It's no use," Kakashi said.

"I know who else I can ask for help."

They teleported to Minato's house, he and Kushina were there, Ryuu sensed their chakra.

"I understand why we had to knock on Master Jiraiya's door but why do we have to knock on big brothers, what could he be doing?"

Ryuu whispered what he saw in Minato's room the time he mastered Flying Raijin.

"Before marriage?" Ryuu nodded.

"I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed in him."

Ryuu nodded.

Minato opened the door.

"Oh Ryuu, Kakashi, what are you guys doing here?"

He shyly asked, he was sweating for some reason.

"Is anyone there? Is it big sis Kushina?" Ryuu asked.

Minato started sweating increasingly.

"N-n-no, no one is in here it's just me, all alone, anyway, I'm quite busy so you two should go, we'll talk later ok?"

He pushed us out.

"He's no better than Jiraiya-sensei."

Kakashi nodded.

"I guess I'll just go back to learning medical ninjutsu with Lady Tsunade."

Ryuu teleported to her, she was in the library full of medical ninjutsu books.

"Lady Tsunade, you're on time?"

She punched Ryuu and left a bruise.

"Stop making it sound like I'm never on time you Brat!"

Ryuu chuckled a little bit.

"You think this is funny!?"

She yelled as she folded her fist ready to hit me again.

"No, it's nothing, I'm just excited to start training with you that's all."

He said while smiling.

She didn't make a big deal about it and moved on from it.

"So what are we found today?"

I asked, she didn't say anything but she pointed at a table with a fish on top of some sort of seal.

"WE aren't doing anything YOU are…"

Ryuu's eyes widened.

"Oh, I see you want me to bring that fish back to life, that's my first test huh?"

She nodded

"Well I won't fail you, I'll be done before you know it."

Ryuu had a determined look in his eyes.

"From what I know I have to constantly transfer chakra to its brain and vital organs, that's how it'll come back, but for a shinobi, all I'll have to follow is repair their damaged vital organs or wherever they're injured all this is done with precise chakra control, but I don't have to worry about that for now."

Ryuu started trying to revive the fish, it was harder than he thought, he struggled more than he thought he would, even after 3 weeks, and to make it worse Lady Tsunade didn't even help, all she did was pass out with a bottle of wine on the couch nearby.

"Damned fish won't come back."

He frustratedly said.

After a few more struggles Ryuu noticed it moving a little.

"Lady Tsunade, I moved it!"

He yelled.

Tsunade dropped her bottle as she woke up.

"What is it now?"

She asked as she was rubbing her eyes.

"Lady Tsunade I moved the fish, it almost came back to life."

Tsunade had a confused look on her face.

"Already?" I nodded.

"Jeez, you're relentless kid, don't wake me up before that fish comes back to life, but before that, I'm going to get another bottle."

I nodded.

She left Ryuu alone to focus harder.

"Lady Tsunade's reaction tells me I'm doing well, far better than any of us expected."

Ryuu said to himself before trying harder.

"What's up with that kid? If he keeps up like this he'll easily surpass me, it's like he has a talent in everything, so annoying."

She said as she was waiting for her sake.

"Hey Tsunade, are you talking about Ryuu?"

"Sigh" Lady Tsunade knew who that is.

"Jiraiya, I don't have time for your perverted games, leave me alone."

She said.

"I'm not here to tease you or anything I promise! Although if you want to I have no problem with it."

A tick appeared on her head as she punched him.

"Ok, I'm sorry for that, Jeez you didn't have to hit me that hard, but anyway, do you need a drink? Come one it's been too long since we hung out together, right?"

She hesitated but she didn't refuse.

"So, why did you come back here anyway, I didn't expect you to return so early."

He said.

"Why? You don't want me back? Is it because you don't want me catching you being a creepy pervert or what?"

Jiraiya choked on his drink.

"No! Why would you think that?" He said.

Jiraiya was sweating and scratching the back of his head.

"A-anyway, when I saw you, I heard you talk about Ryuu. How's he doing? I heard he's your student now."

She nodded.

"Well, I'm guessing you're already used to this because you're his sensei but, that kid, he's too talented I don't think I'll be able to keep up with his pace, I bet in a few months he'll have learned everything he needs from me."

Jiraiya nodded.

"Yeah, when I heard he was a talented kid, I thought he'd be something like Minato but he's far from what I expected, he's in a class of his own, he already has many achievements and yet he still wants more challenges, he wants to be the best and at the same time he also wants to protect everyone."

She nodded.

"You know he kind of reminds me of Dan too, the way he wanted to protect everyone as well."

She nodded.

"Honestly I thought I was the only one who said so only because I miss him."

She said.

"Why didn't you call Orochimaru here?" She asked.

"He and Sarutobi-sensei are busy planning Konoha's next move, so he wouldn't have time to come with us anyway, and this way it's like a date right?"

Tsunade punched him again.

"This isn't a date, I'm only here to get drunk and look for gambling spots."

She said as she gritted her teeth.

While Tsunade and Jiraiya were having a good time Ryuu had finally resurrected the dead fish but he didn't want to stop trying until he perfected it.

The next day came by and Ryuu didn't even realize, he had spent the whole night killing and resurrecting the fish over and over to impress Tsunade, if it weren't for his massive amount of chakra he would have collapsed due to over-exhaustion.

"Hey, Kid are you still here?"

Tsunade asked as she barged through the door.

Ryuu didn't even hear her, he was still focused on the fish.

"Ryuu!" He snapped out of it because of her yell.

"Oh sorry lady Tsunade, I guess I was too committed to perfecting this, see I'm now able to resurrect it without any problems."

He demonstrated it to her.

"You did it huh? Impressive."

Ryuu smiled.

"Now let me test you some more."

Ryuu returned the fish into the tank and Tsunade got a dead octopus but it wasn't a challenge to Ryuu after constantly resurrecting the fish his technique was almost flawless and the octopus was also revived.

"I can't believe it," Tsunade said.

"You managed to master this all in 3 weeks?" I nodded.

"That's incredible."
