Kado landed and took an apple out of his pocket. He bite the apple and looked at Max. 'Were you bitten the way I bit this apple?', he asked casually with a grin.
Max scoffed. 'Who the fuck are you? And why are you hiding here?', he asked looking around for any other person with him.
'I knew how powerful your sense of smell are. I knew you'd find me here, any fucking way am Kado', he said sticking his claws out.
'I don't care!,Max snapped. 'Am sure you are not expecting me to shake you with that?', He fumed.
'Little wolf with anger issues. He told me about that too', Kado said nodding.
'Now I know', Max scoffs .'He can't even keep a secret, Sam was right', Max thought. 'So much for keeping this a secret, huh?', he said aloud.
'Am his goddamn brother. Why will he keep a secret from me? He confides in you alot. He speaks highly of you', Kado admitted.
'Am I expected to believe that? Max said uninterestedly
'Okay. Cut the bullshit. Am here to challenge you wonna see what you are made of, little wolf', Kado said then he jumped down. His claws sprouted and he dashed towards Max. Max threw a punch and Kado grabbed his hand twisted it and threw Max away. Max knocked a tree and fell.
"You can't fight me in that way", Kado growled. Max rose up groaning and found out that his upper lip had cut.
'Fuck you!. He breathed and closed his eyes.
"Wont you show me something?", Kado taunts. "He really wants to show me something", he chuckled.
"Have been learning to stop using my anger to transform, and I think you are my stepping stone", Max stated aloud so Kado could hear.
"I am no stepping stone!", Kado growled and flew and kicked Max while in mid air. Max was pushed a few meters by his strong kick but he stood up and smiled rubbing his hands.
"what are you doing?,won't you fight even if I wonna kill you?", Kado asked angrily.
"Am not a killer, okay. Am just a high school student", Max replied
Kado rolled his eyes and clapped. He moved closer to Max and slashed his arm,then kicked him making him roll down the slanted ground. Once his body landed, the pains in his body was making him feel angry and he could feel something wanting to get free. Max groaned in pain as his eyes became bluish and claws sprout in his fingers. Then he looks towards Kado who just froze in place
'Oh my...", Kado's voice trailed off. He couldn't believe it. Just a mere BITTEN, having this power. He now has a subtle change of mind about this challenge. His power was equivalent to an Alpha, not a beta like him even though he's a direct descendant of Wolf.
"Now let's dance, big wolf", Max snarled. Max jumped from tree to tree dodging Kado's attacks and he flipped over a branch then he grabbed Kado's neck, jabbed his chest and knocked him on a tree, while Kado jabbed Max rolling over him. Both were throwing punches until Kado headbutts Max who fell and did a flip to stand back.
"You are really impressive", Kado grunted as he could feel some pain around his rib cage.
"You are tough", Max said as he wiped his nose off the blood trickling.
Kado scoffed and cleaned his blood from the neck. "You clawed my neck", Kado said angrily.
'Am not sorry, you pushed me despite me not wanting to fight you", Max said. "Where is Thawn?", he added further.
'He has to help Grey figure some things out', Kado said. "Do you also think maybe he's lost his mind too?", He asked
'Yes. Grey tried to kill me. And I still don't understand why he's trying to get Grey's help, can't we figure it out..... together? Max asked struggling to say the last word.
"He must have his reasons. And I trust him though, do you?", Kado asked looking at Max and observing him.
"I think I am beginning to. But it's you I don't trust just yet", Max stated bluntly.
"Of course", Kado grinned...

In a room a guy could be seen typing on his laptop, writing some notes and sipping coffee.
'How could it be?", He was perplexed. 'Never was a human turned by biting he even possess the wolf trait as if he's a direct descendant. But we have skipped someone in all these, who actually bit Max?", He thought and his chair rolled backwards showing his face to be Sam.
"And how strong can he become?", he wondered.
'Is this research not complete?, my head hurts", he yawned tapping his forehead.

Grey and Thawn continued walking until Thawn stopped in his track then his ears tingled.
"We have a stalker", he mused. And Grey culked his gun silently looking around,while Thawn sniffs and then some people came out surrounding them.
"We half expected this though", A man said coming out from amidst the people.
"Who the hell are you?", Grey asked ready to fire anytime.
"We are here for the Wolf,make way", the man warned sternly unfazed by his weapon.
"I don't care about the wolf. I just want to know who the hell you are!?", Grey said stepping forward.
'Well then. Let me show you", the man replied and signalled for the men to attack, instantly four men dashed towards them both.

'I will be on my way now. Am happy to hear you will be discharged soon', Max said happily.
'Thank you", Wade smiled. He is still confused about his brother sudden changes. He is now more confident, seems he even added height and looks more muscular. "Am I sure he's not on steroids?", he asked inwardly.
'Whats wrong? Max asked oblivious to what he was thinking.
'Nothing", Wade said and held his hands softly. Max nodded and waved goodbye. He went out of the hospital and on his way his sense heightened as he felt someone following him. Knowing this, then he changed his path into the woods and after walking a few minutes he stopped. 'Will you show yourself now?", he asked not looking back. 'I know when am being followed", he added then thrre men landed in front of him.
'Is this the BITTEN?", First man chuckled.
'Who the hell are you? Did Kado sent you guys?", Max asked confused at them knowing about him. "So much of a secret", he thought of the brothers and cursed inwardly.
'Yeah", second man replied snarling.
'Get him! Third man shouted and they rushed towards him. Max growled and his eyes shone blue, the men were startled
'what stage is he?", one of them asked
'He should be less than a delta wolf, but his eye color is new", another replied.
'Why don't you come and check for yourself! Max growled and they rushed attacks at him. The second man slashed his arm and Max yelped in pain, he thought he could take them but he was fucking wrong then another sharp claw stung his chest then he fell, bleeding and coughing. They were fast and stronger than him.
'He's no strong wolf. Should we just kill him?, second man asked.
'No we do as we were told. We deliver him', Then a whistle can be heard just in a flash a guy appeared beside Max. 'Hes not going anywhere, he said smiling showing his bloody fangs
'Kill him", the third man said without looking up. Then as he got up looking up to see the two men fallen with their heads backwards, a shiver ran down his spine. And he moved backwards, before he could run the guy appeared in front of him and snapped his neck.
'Who the hell are you?", Max asked and wondered who this mysterious helper I
really is.
'Dont you remember me? The guy smiled still showing his fangs and removed his veil.
'What the fuck!?", Max exclaimed not believing his eyes.
