Seeing the garden being watered for by some of her maids, Princess Ivy then left the room. She wanted to work on her palace garden too. Find activities so that she does not feel bored. Moreover, she felt happy to be here. She didn't even think about her husband there at all.
"Ivy, where are you going?" asked Queen Luis who saw her walking to the side door.
"I am going to the garden, mother," she answered.
"No need. Why go there? Do you want to embarrass me by humiliating your already low self there? What if someone sees you?"
Princess Ivy's hands clenched in annoyance. She rarely spoke to her stepmother. But once her stepmother spoke to her, her words irritated her greatly.
"I do not care as long as a father does not mind," replied Princess Ivy in a cold voice. She then walked back and ignored the calls of Queen Luis who called her many times.
