King Idriz called out to her but Princess Ivy chose to ignore him. She didn't want to be questioned by her father because if he kept on asking what the reason was until she was so that much to Princess Lily, then she would expose her husband's disgrace to her father. Princess Ivy didn't want to reveal it herself, she wanted her father to see for himself if Prince Theodoric and Princess Lily had the relationship they had just agreed on last night.
Princess Ivy locked herself in her room. She then sat on the edge of her bed looking straight at the open balcony.
"Ivy," her mother's voice, Queen Melanie suddenly appeared before her. Princess Ivy wasn't surprised anymore, she didn't even greet her mother.
As a mother who understands her daughter's feelings, Queen Melanie understands. She sat by her daughter's side while stroking her daughter's hair, which fell, and just pinned it in the middle.
