It's a fucking party. That liar.

"Care to explain why you lied?" Jian asked, blinking her eyes at him, holding herself from bursting. "I know you won't come if I said that It was a party" He bluntly responds, smiling at the guest who passed by.

"Why would you bring me to a party?" She tries to argue, suffocation filling her up from the number of people gathered from the hall.

"Listen," He started, "It's not like I have a choice!"

Jian was beyond upset, as he did not tell her beforehand that It wasn't a family dinner with his parents, but was a party. Jian had anxiousness when it comes to parties, especially with high-class people. She, herself knows that she doesn't fit in here and that she shouldn't step foot at such places that are more expensive than her whole house.

"I'm just gonna go eat," She mumbled to herself, standing up as she wobbles while picking a plate, looking at the sight of the food- she can already tell that the chefs have made quite an effort in cooking them, impressive.

She doesn't know where to start, after all, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her to try these kinds of foods. "What a lovely sight," The young man commented, "I know right!" Jian said in enthusiasm.

"Why need a man, when you have food" She blurts out, as she bobbed her head on the music, muttering the lyrics, picking up different types of foods. Unaware of the young man who had been observing her. Interesting

"Oh my god," Jian said in shock, her gaze had fallen upon the cake who's a few steps away "They have a strawberry cake?!" She gasped, completely forgetting other foods that she wanted to try.

Oh no, it's the last piece! I should hurry

Walking faster as people had been passing by- her eyes were glued at the cake.

These hills aren't meant for running. Someone is about to take the cake!

And, it was gone in her sight.

"That was the last piece!" She shouted, almost flopping down, as she frustratedly sighed. The people were completely startled by the sudden shout. Which she now realizes- some were unbothered, and some were annoyed. Jian awkwardly laughs, looking at the people who had their gaze on her.

"Ah, It's okay, I know you have been wanting this, you can have it." a young man, seemly her age, said. "Ah no, It's okay," She said, awkwardly smiling putting both her hands up to her chest, waving it.

"Are you sure?" He asked, looking at her directly. "Yeah" she assured him, eyes glued at the cake, and yet she didn't manage to lie.

"Why need a man when you have food, right?" he said, mimicking her tone, Jian glared. but she couldn't hold her laugh and so does he.

His laughter vibrates through her, which made her heart did that thing.

"My name's Sunoo. Kim Sunoo" he offers his hand, "Jian. Han Jian" she takes his hand, as they did a handshake.

"You bought a date?" Jian asked, scoffing "Yeah", The young girl twirls herself facing the wall, hitting her back at the railing, sighing. "Your loss" she rolls her eyes, scoffing again, as she started walking away.

"I still love you," he mumbled, calmly, sighing. Reaching her hips, as he tried to hug her. "And, I don't" she coldly stated. "I'll get you back, Jian"

Where the hell is she?

He looks around here and there- finding his girlfriend. It has been 15 minutes, and he was still finding her. The guests had been calling him, but he didn't even bat an eye on them- he was to focus on finding her. He thought that maybe something bad happened to her.

But.

There she is, with someone else.

Jaemin was beyond mad, chuckling deeply- he was sending glares from the two, from afar- who's just talking peacefully. Reaching from his pockets, he quickly dialed her digits.

He saw Jian quickly halting Sunoo from talking, opening her purse- then suddenly turning her phone off.

Ahh, no she did not just do that.

Jaemin exhaled harshly, raising a brow, he quickly went up to them, quickening his pace, placing his hands on her hips, immediately, tightly.

Jian widens her eyes, as she felt a hand gripping her hips, tightly.

She was about to turn and slap the person, but then he spoke.

"Hi?" he forcibly formed a smile, gripping tighter. "Oh, this is-" Jaemin did not let her finish.

"Jaemin. Na Jaemin. Her boyfriend." He offers his free hand and so does Sunoo. "Sunoo. Kim Sunoo. by the way, Mr.Na-" Jaemin gripped his hands even tighter, smiling, as he laughs and so does Sunoo, his hand was quite hurting. But Jaemin didn't let go,

"Mr. Na, I think you should let go of my hand"

"Oh right, sorry, by the way, I think Jian and I, need to get going now!" Jian smiled at Sunoo, as they walk away. Pulling Jian's wrist tighter. While Jian was waving at Sunoo like a kid.

Stop smiling and waving.

"Now what is wrong with you," She crossed her arms, as she spoke in such a manner.

"Nothing."

"Nice lie, totally believed it" She chuckled, amused that he manages to lie.

You ain't being subtle.

"Tell me" she quietly said, in a demanding tone. As if she didn't know the reason.

Jaemin burst into laughter, and It suddenly fades. "What do you think?" He quickly turned his attention to her, giving her the cold shoulder.

"You're Jealous?" Jian smiled, zipping her lips not letting herself laugh.

"No," he responded quickly, clearing his throat,

"Why would I? Besides, what will the guests think, that you're hanging out with someone else and Is the SON of Kim Corp, and ditching her boyfriend, who is all left alone" he added a sentence, after a sentence, emphasizing the word 'son' as he reasons out, making hand gestures.

"Wait, wait" Jian manages to put her hand signaling him to stop, as she, gulped, "I think you got it wrong, Mr. Na, YOU'RE the one who ditched me here," She smiled forcibly, making sure she emphasizes 'you're' as blink her eyes at him, making hand gestures.

I'm just copying him at this point

"Well except for that PART" he argued back, emphasizing, again.

He leaned at her, who leaned at him as well when the gap was small- she smiles and flicked his forehead.

"BAM!"

"Ouch, what was that for?" Jaemin asked wincing in pain, putting his palm, as he rubs his forehead, looking at the side mirror to get a view of his reddening forehead.

Just how hard did she flicker me.

"That's what you get for ditching me. " Jian huffed, fixing herself as she looked at the mirror.

"I can't believe I have to do this with you" He mumbled, " I can't believe I have to do this with you" Jian mimick him, sticking her tongue out. Weirdo.
