The fleet of pirate ships was quickly subdued resulting in some deaths but a large amount of them remained alive and subdued long enough for them to be captured by the Marines.
The small ship of Marines that survived along with their captain was not enough to deal with the present situation so they waited for some support to reach them.
Alyssia boarded their ship she went over the details of everything related to the assistance she and her crew provided as a member of the Warlord system.
It was enough for her to take up some kind of quota of work that would be required of her as a Warlord while making a name for herself and those she was related to.
If she did not do anything for a long period then it was likely that the World Government would find a reason with that to get her to do something for them.
They would probably do that anyway but if she was doing something to aid them in some way then there was less of a reason to make them use that as an excuse.
She already said that she did not wish to take on some tasks if it was something that was too despicable and that they could not make her do anything she did not want to do.
If they understood that well enough then they would not push her too far beyond her comfort zone but that was entirely down to who was giving the orders and what kind of situation would be forced upon her.
Not everyone in the World Government and the Marines was so understanding enough to take such warnings seriously enough.
If they wanted something to be done then they would use whatever methods and power they had at their disposal to get her to bend the knee.
With the time left until certain events would begin to unfold in the world, Alyssia just wanted to buy as much time as she could for herself and her allies even if it meant making some efforts toward fulfilling her role as a Warlord.
As a part of her various duties, there were some benefits involved too like collecting any bounties and getting a cut from the ships and other things the pirates had.
All it took was one call to her allies within the White Storm for them to come out and salvage the ships before anyone else got to them before the Marines took the rest.
She defended what she could without being overly greedy to make the Marines have a very poor view of her.
Alyssia wanted to appear to be fair in the way she handled things.
She was not too greedy to take everything for herself but she was not a pushover either.
If it was not for her intervention then the pirates would have won in that battle before backup arrived and they would have gotten away.
Not only did Alyssia's crewmembers take them all down but they saved the lives of many Marines so it was not unfair of her to take a certain percentage of everything.
Alyssia already had a great amount of wealth available to her so she was not overly greedy to covet it all.
Along the way on their journey, Alyssia and the others continued to make several stops on islands as they quickly dealt with pirates they were passing by that were causing disturbances causing them to gain quite a lot of notice from many in the New World.
While they went on their journey, news of another thing began to become known to the world too.
The incident was named the Rocky Port incident where a former Rocks Pirate named Ochoku was the ruler of Hachinosu.
Trafalgar Law was responsible for the major incident while a lot of the details were not publically known.
Captain Koby protected the citizens during the incident as well as assisting in Ochoku's defeat at Blackbeard's hands.
Law stole one hundred hearts of pirates but there had yet to be any mention of there being any further information about him like he had yet to decide what to do with them.
Perhaps something had changed with him since Alyssia took up a position in the Warlords or he was just waiting for the right moment to do as he planned.
Koby was widely acclaimed as a hero from the incident and Blackbeard took over Hachinosu after Ochoku was dethroned.
The MMA passed through a couple of places before arriving close to where an island was off in the distance.
Off in the distance was a more advanced island than the ones they had visited so far.
There was something very unique about the place which sparked their curiosity and excitement.
The MMA took them to the port where they docked safely and stepped off it onto the land.
The MMA had been cleared out of anything that Alyssia did not want sitting around and being discovered by anyone she did not want to see.
That included her various experiments that were being kept hidden away on Zou where nobody else but Val was overseeing everything.
Even some Devil Apes remained with her parents to protect them while Ghost was staying on the island she was developing where some of the Whitebeard remnants were hiding out.
K1 remained by the side of Aizah to assist her with many things to run the White Storm and provide additional protection.
Alyssia stepped off the MMA and let out a sigh. "So this is the level of what he has achieved. I wonder what it will look like in the future."
From the information that she obtained from Vegapunk or whatever was acting in his place during times that she obtained some skills from him or them, Alyssia was able to figure out that Vegapunk was located in the New World.
His location was not that far from Wano where she visited previously and it was located in such a convenient location that quite suited her needs.
Egghead Island was where Vegapunk had set up his base of operations which was just one trip from Wano if the New World version of the Log Pose was used.
Since she already visited Wano once, it took far less time to get there a second time than all it took was for her to make the correct decision on which direction to take from the three available.
Her navigation skill was already maxed out so it was very easy for her to gain what little information she needed to be able to navigate toward her intended route.
Alyssia never got to read past a certain point in the Wano arc so she never got to know about what came after that.
She had to figure out the rest of what information she gathered in the world so she guessed that Egghead would be a location where she, Nica, Tristan, and Ein would be able to improve themselves further.
The number of skills available on the island seemed to be in great supply since Egghead was full of capable people.
