Chapter 391 - Fog #5

Among the many that were undergoing their own form of hallucination, there were two among the group that had experienced their own which were very similar to each other.

Two tiny Tontattas had been immersed in their hallucination within the fog, they could not see each other within their hallucination but they acted in a similar way.

Within their illusion they were both resting on the top of a large flower which had a comforting and gentle fragrance that made them feel at ease.

They had snuggled into the flower and entered a deep sleep and they never wanted to wake up again due to the sleepy feeling they had experienced and the comfort they felt. "Zzz."

Both of them had continued to rest as if they would enter an eternal sleep and in reality, they had both been sleeping within the pockets of Yvie who was running around crying within the fog.

There were times when children are very playful and mischievous so they tend to get into danger during their youthful years.

In the past of Ting and Ton, they had once entered a flower garden that they were not allowed to enter and had played around within it.

They tired themselves out and slept on a flower not knowing the effects of the flower, it was not until later that they had awoken from their parents distraught and angry voices once they had been taken away from the garden upon being discovered.

Even with their innate potential with nature, they were still young and had not been taught the basics yet so they failed to recognise the danger they were in.

They fell asleep and could not wake up due to the effects of the flower so they had been missing for most of the day until they were finally found.

They did not realise the danger they were in until later that was them staying in that state and eventually dying in their sleep if they had been left there for too long.

Those memories were brought back to them once again within their hallucinations but they were the most peaceful among those that had displayed more erratic actions.

There was another among them that had displayed more violent actions and it was the weapon snake of Sunila which had seen small prey in front of its eyes. "Sss…"

It saw a small prey then struck towards it with its mouth open and its fangs exposed.

Just as it was about to come into contact with it, it had suddenly fainted and fell to the ground.

Alyssia was standing further away and let out a sigh. "Indeed.. animals would be easier to influence in this way. It almost bit its own master."

The weapon snake was attached to the body of Sunila so once it had entered the fog, the first thing closest to it could be put in danger from it.

It could not hold back its instincts to hunt the prey and had attacked Sunila but before that could happen, Alyssia had knocked it out with her Conquerors Haki.

Close to where the weapon snake had fallen, Sunila was undergoing her own experience that had been influenced by the fog.

A small blue haired girl with strange eyes had been pushed down by a couple of girls suddenly once they had appeared. "What are you doing?"

The more muscularly built girl had stood over her with her friends and mocked Sunila. "All you can do is shoot that bow of yours so do not be so proud. You are just a cheater and do not possess the qualifications to be called a warrior."

The other girls had laughed behind the back of the girl and looked towards Sunila with a mocking expression. "Hahaha I knew big sis would let her wake up."

"Stupid Sunila thinks she is a warrior now. Huhuhu."

"No matter how much you practice.."

"No matter how good you get.."

"You are no warrior."

"You are just a weakling."

"You coward."

Sunila was deeply hurt and tightened her grip onto her training bow that she practiced with. 'I can never be a warrior?'

The mocking continued to go on and the crowd grew bigger, those that gathered had looked on as they gazed towards her with disdain and shame. 'Stop.. stop looking.. please.

They had eventually began to speak up along with the children. "Such a foolish child."

"She has such strange eyes."

"How ugly."

"A disgrace to our beautiful Amazon Lily."

"Oh! The Empress has returned!"

Boa Hancock had returned and proudly walked forward with many admiring eyes on her and even Sunila had changed from her previous upset expression to pure love and fawning towards her Empress. 'Ah.. so this is what they meant by beauty and strength. If only I could one day achieve that.'

She was too busy admiring Boa Hancock to notice that the crowd had made way for those returning to Amazon Lily then Boa Hancock walked in front of the small girl and revealed displeasure. "Who placed this ugly thing in front of this Empress?"

Boa Hancock did not waste any time and lifted her foot to kick Sunila into the air so that Sunila no longer blocked her path then walked towards the palace. "Hmph. Useless insect."

Sunila had fallen onto the ground further away and the crowd began to mock her again. "Did you hear that insect?"

"Hahaha so ugly."

"How dare you block the Empress's path!"

Sunila sat on the ground and covered her face with her hands crying. "No.. no.. stop it. My mom said I am talented. Stop.. you are lying."

A woman pushed through the crowd and knelt down before her and spoke. "I only said that to you so that you would be motivated to work harder but you have greatly disappointed me."

There were several images of those she felt familiar who had looked towards her for a moment with a gaze full of disdain and as if they were looking at a bug, Alyssia and many others were among them and they had turned around to walk away without looking back.

The betrayal and despair had made Sunila very distraught and she started to look around her surroundings. "Not fair.. it is not fair.. you said I could be someone strong and beautiful.. you said I had that potential.. no!"

In her anger she had reached out towards the bow that had been laying nearby and ran away into the forest. "I will prove them wrong. All of them!"

Her grudge towards them all and her desire to prove them wrong had developed and so had her desire to get stronger than any of them even if it meant becoming a demon of the bow.

Just as Sunila was starting to draw her bow to fire an arrow, she had fallen over as Alyssia had used her Conquerors Haki on her.

Alyssia caught the body of Sunila and spoke to her as she was laying her down. "Firing arrows around recklessly will only cause problems so please just sleep for a while."

The past of Sunila was similar to what she had experienced during her hallucination but her past had people who would notice her efforts and would support her.

Her mother had believed in her potential and the person she idolised had not treated her so poorly, Sunila had only ever seen Boa Hancock from further away so she had never had any good or bad experiences related to her.

There were some girls that had mocked her for her eyes or her only being talented in one area that was archery but she soon put in efforts after receiving the support of those around her.
