Chapter 392 - Fog #6

One more person was deeply immersed in their own personal experience that was brought on by the fog.

Along armed child had been wandering around but was suddenly confronted by a small gang of older kids.

"Huh.. long armed freak."

"What are you doing here?"

"This is our territory so get lost."

They kicked him which caused him to fall down and they continued to kick him when he was on the ground.

"Get him."

"Kick this freak harder so he learns his lesson."

He had never thrown a single punch at someone before and he did not practice any martial arts at a young age.

Suddenly one of the kids pulled back his long arms behind his back which had caused then to dislocate all of a sudden. "Aah! Why? Why are you doing this to me?"

The leader of the bullies let out a laugh and replied. "You know why."

The children laughed to themselves before delivering w couple more kicks and then left him behind on the ground.

The boy lay with his arms behind his back and out of place until someone came across his body.

A pair of feet showed up in front of the boys eyes and his vision was blurring from the pain he had to endure. "Please help."

The person who had come across him had spoken. "Tsk! So those brats damaged him, I thought I had found a treasure."

The person who had come across him was someone who had clearly watched everything from far away and had his eyes on the boy who was from a unique tribe. "Maybe this can be fixed but the pain will be more than a kid like you can endure. Do you agree to follow me if I help you? Just nod if you agree."

Ideo nodded and he was dragged away once he had fallen unconscious but he was soon woken up again and found himself in a room that had lots of weights and training equipment inside.

There was a boxing ring at the back of the room and the man that sat by his side had just finished putting one arm back into place which was the direct cause for Ideo suddenly waking up. "Oh so you are awake now? It would have been better if you just slept through this."

There was a cracking noise that followed as the man had snapped his other arm back into place.

Ideo fainted once again and was woken up to the sound of punching bags being hit and the man was stepping around it while throwing quick punches.

The man saw the movements at the corner of his eye and showed a smile. "Kid, you now work for me. Everything of yours is mine. I will make a champion out of you."

Ideo grit his teeth as his body was still in a lot of pain and his movements had only caused that pain to flare up again. "Argh.. who are you? What do you mean? Me a champion? I have never even thrown a punch before."

The man snorted in response. "Kid you do not know what you have.. so long as you listen to me and work hard then it should be possible. Me? I am just a trainer and talent scout. That injury of yours may actually become a blessing for you if you can figure out how to use it.

For now we will work on your recovery and then we will start stretching those arms of yours to increase their flexibility so you feel less of a strain when they are pulled back far enough. Once you have adjusted, we will start you off on some tougher training."

What followed was the screams of the boy who had to undergo more pain during the healing process and afterwards.

There was a hint of madness in the eyes of his trainer one day as he had come up with an idea to use the injury Ideo had gained. "If this works then this will become your ultimate weapon. Hahaha."

Without waiting doe the boy to consent, the trained put the boy through hellish training and stretched out his arm further behind his back each time until it had finally become more comfortable to pull it back into place before throwing a punch.. "Aaah aaaah!"

The problem that the hallucination did not end there and he seemed to wake up once again from the point where the trainer had returned with the crazy look in his eyes.

The screams of the boy had continued every time that it had repeated and he had to relive a tormenting memory from his past.

The Destruction Cannon did not appear out of nowhere and it came from the pain and experiences that Ideo had to endure from a small child until the technique had become a normal everyday thing for him to use.

The main difference was that his trainer had taken care of his recovery well enough and had taken some time to let him recover fully before pushing him into any harsh training.

A strict and professional boxing training plan had been drawn up for Ideo by the trainer and Ideo went on to become the world boxing champion.

After that he was unsatisfied and wished to challenge greater opponents due to him eventually losing his softer side that he had when he was a kid.

Several figures had remained standing or were closer to the ground as they were immersed inside their own hallucinations and then they suddenly fell to the ground one by one.

A figure disappeared and reappeared by them to catch their falling bodies then lay them down.

Alyssia who was wearing a mask had looked towards Val. "Take them out of here. This should be enough of an experience for them all and I have learned quite a lot."

Her figure disappeared as she went deeper into the fog towards the heart of it and soon found the source of the fog. "So this is the trouble maker. How deadly this thing is to cause so much confusion to anyone that breathes it in. Good thing I brought Val and had built up my immunity to such things in advance. Though if this had some effect on me then Val could have moved to save me."

What Alyssia had come across was a very large one that was sitting in the centre of the fog, it was a light purple colour with yellow spots covering it.

It had five lobes or petals in a cup-like structure, where the centre of the flower had a column with a disk.

it was lacking in leaves, a stem and roots but it had small filaments that it would use to suck nutrients from its host vine.

They centre of the plant had occasionally released a puff of smoke which spread around and was added to the fog.

Alyssia looked towards it and grinned behind her mask. "How dangerous this thing is but now it is so helpless. Time to get to work."

Several tools were removed from her travel backpack and she began collecting samples and had begun collecting some data about the strange flower.

Once she had completed her task, Alyssia had left it behind and returned outside of the fog to see everyone sleeping soundly. "Now the treatment begins.."
