Chapter 249 - The Unfortunate #1

In Sabaody Archipelagos, the Straw Hat Pirates were just arriving after undergoing many more fateful encounters where they met up with Hatchy and Keimi.

The ongoing problems that surrounded the island were well known to them so they quickly warned the Straw Hat Pirates about the Celestial Dragons and how to act in their presence.

Meanwhile in another location a figure could be seen wrapped up in a cloak as they walked by a building by the name of 'Shakki's Rip Off Bar' before continuing on their walk towards another location.

The cloaked figure was Alyssia who had just updated her system skills from a previous Rocks Pirate who had gone up against Rayleigh many times before their retirement from the pirate lifestyle.

She quickly left the scene before heading into towards the area where Grove twenty was located.

Upon walking the lawless streets full of pirates and bounty hunters, she entered a rundown bar where she quickly gained access to a room where many were sitting.

One, two and three were waiting inside with many other hooded figures which were difficult to identify due to their figure being covered by the cloaks on their bodies and the masks that covered their whole face.

However Alyssia was able to quickly identify them as Jester, Medea and Carrot. 'The time is coming so soon which is very good..'

She spoke hoarsely as she looked towards the people in the room. "Did you get all of the locations?"

Number three nodded as she placed down several different maps with red circles around certain locations where a building was. "These are all the places that we have found so far but are you sure that you wish to go ahead with this?"

Alyssia, Jester, Medea and Carrot nodded right away upon being asked so number one spoke. "Which locations do you wish to target? I recommend attacking the ones marked as the biggest and strongest first before the others."

Jester smiled underneath his mask. "So you mean that we should create more chaos so that we can have more cover to move about in before targeting the other locations."

Number two smiled as she looked over. "It seems that you had guessed our thoughts."

After leaving from Alyssia's side, the numbers had lived a very good life within the criminal underworld as they learned many things about different groups whether it be drug, weapon and weapon trade or services offering protection fees.

While they kept their heads low, they were able to find out many things so when they were needed they could provide their boss with the valuable information.

Alyssia nodded as she spoke hoarsely. "Mm.. good job. For now you must keep a lookout around grove one and send us a signal on the private Sea Snails when something big happens then you can go into hiding and do not come out until I say so. I will then assign you a new task when it is safe to come out. There is plenty of food and drink to help you survive your long stay."

The three of them smiled bashfully as they bowed before leaving the room.

After the four of the cloaked figures left, they each headed towards four separate locations between groves one and twenty nine.

Each of them seemed quite well guarded but after flashing a little amount of berries, the cloaked figures were able to gain access where they were carefully escorted to the main room.

Many caged slaves of many different types were within and while some still had life in their eyes, some were in a very poor state as if they were a walking corpse.

Several guards kept a close eye on the cloaked figure within the room while the man opposite put on a business smile. "So what kind of slave do you wish to purchase my dear customer? Something specific or for a specific purpose perhaps?"

However before he could continue, there was a sudden noise that spread around the room which stopped upon the figure reaching into their cloak which had silenced it completely.

A hoarse voice spoke afterwards. "Sorry about that."

The man opposite responded quickly. "No, no need to apologise dear customer. Now.. about the slaves."

The hoarse voice replied. "Ah yes.. about the slaves. I want all of them."

The man opposite gasped. "My dear customer you must be joking?"

The cloaked figure shook their head before standing up silently.

The man opposite looked confused. "Customer?"

However the hoarse voice once more entered his ears. "It is nothing personal but.."

The next moment the figure disappeared and destroyed all of the surrounding Sea Snails used to monitor the room before appearing in front of each of the guards like an afterimage before reappearing before the man.

The guards dropped to their knees before falling forward lifelessly as blood leaked from the small finger sized hole in their neck and the remaining man was held by the throat as his mouth was covered.

He was pushed against the wall and all of his belongings were removed, the next second the hoarse voice become even more frightening to him as it continued. "You have just seen how fast I could kill them so do not rely on others to save you. If you wish to even have a chance at surviving then you must follow my words exactly without making a single mistake."

The man shook in fear as he weighed his options but very quickly he realised that he had no choice because the captor was too close for him to get away safely unless he chose to follow along,

He quickly nodded his head and Alyssia smirked behind her mask. "Good, lead me to the monitoring room first, second lead me to the main rooms where the muscle of your organisation stay then finally lead me to the key and slave document room."

As they exited the room, she had her nail placed in the location near his heart on his back so if he made a sudden move to ask for help or flee, he would die instantly.
