Chapter 250 - The Unfortunate #2

After Alyssia had gained entry to the monitoring room, she quickly dealt with the people inside the moment the door was opened.

She shut off all of the monitoring and communication tools before heading to the rooms where the other guards were while dealing with anyone within the corridors.

She flash stepped into each room and left behind many afterimages before appearing next to the man again leaving behind a bloody scene as she was finally lead towards the room that kept all of the keys for the cages and slave collars.

She burnt all of the documents and then carried the keys towards the caged slaves within the rooms that the slaves were kept. "Hurry and open the cages. Do not delay or else."

The man who was the only remaining survivor quickly opened up the cages and then Alyssia spoke. "Everyone get out and release yourselves quickly otherwise you will have no hope of survival. If someone is struggling to get out or escape, help them out to speed everything up."

The keys were tossed onto the floor and many slaves exited their cage and reached towards the keys desperately as if their lives depended on it.

Alyssia spoke into the mans ear. "As promised, I will not harm you but you must go to sleep."

She knocked him out and spoke again coldly. "I did promise and I will keep it but what they do to you is not part of that promise."

Many slaves who had escaped their bindings started helping the others but upon seeing the man laying there, some of them started to vent all of their hardships upon him who was the sole survivor of the group that had captured and treated them inhumanely.

Alyssia started walking towards where she had entered and said. "Behind the building there is a blindspot that not many would notice. There is a bag that has been left behind, inside there are many pieces of clothing which will cover your body and hide your identity a little. Use them and then make your way together towards the location on the map that has been marked. There you will be able to find a temporary shelter until there is a time that you can escape this island."

A timid voice spoke up. "Can we know the name of our saviour?"

Alyssia shook her head as she replied. "It is probably best that you do not know."

Even if she had saved them and put several things in place, there was not an absolute possibility that they would all survive and even if they did, they may end up captured once again.

Some may be tortured to extract information about who had freed them resulting in her name being leaked while others who had kept quiet would receive even harsher treatment so telling them her name or giving any other details was not a wise move.

Many of the locations that were to be used as safe houses were illegally owned and purchased on the black market so even if they were exposed in the future, any connection to the White Storm would not be noticed since it had been handled properly and no traces could be found of any connection.

As Alyssia left the slave house and killed the guards at the door, a commotion broke out on the streets but very quickly she disappeared from everyones sight.

Just after that, many slaves exited the building and ran towards the back as they collected the items left behind in the bag which helped them to disguise themselves a little.

Most of them quickly spread out and followed the directions left behind by Alyssia to reach the safe house which created a much larger crowd within the streets so even if she was walked on the streets out in the open, she could easily blend in with the crowd because of how they were dressed.

A very small number of the slaves did not trust in Alyssia completely or had their own plans to escape so they did not follow her words as they went off on their own or with a small group.

Alyssia visited several more slave houses within the area as she followed the same pattern of killing off anyone involved while destroying any monitoring and communication tools.

While this was all going on and as the crowds of slaves were becoming much larger as they made their way through the streets towards several different locations, the Marines were all moving towards Grove one to surround the Slave Auction House where Kid, Luffy and Law had stepped out to fight them after Luffy had punched a Celestial Dragon.

The slaves that had been released by Franky or Rayleigh from the Slave Auction House were quick enough to escape upon being given the chance which further added to the chaos of Sabaody Archipelagos.

The amount of slaves released within Sabaody Archipelagos had reached a new record as it had been increasing with every action of Alyssia as she quickly attacked many places that dealt with human trafficking.

Such an event had not happened within the world that big since Fisher Tiger had saved the slaves so many years ago and such a thing was taking place within the lawless area of Sabaody Archipelagos while the Marines were primarily focussed on the main auction house where the Celestial Dragons were held within.

However it was not just Alyssia who had contributed to saving so many unfortunate people but also two others who either had a deep grudge against slavery or the criminal underworld along with Carrot who was brought along to witness the darker and crueler side of the world.

Carrot may have gained many experiences out in the world but she had not witnessed the worst if it yet so Alyssia decided to include her in the operation to let her grow a bit more.

Jester had his own past with the corruption of his country and the loss of the princess before being captured as a slave so he more than anyone within the White Storm had a grudge against the criminal underworld which is so freely allowed to operate so he was happy to be involved.

Medea had been a slave for many years and suffered many hardships before being bought by Alyssia and fixed up, she still had mental scars and hatred within her heart even after being remade into a new person so upon being briefed about the operation, she readily agreed so that she could help those similar to herself while also hurting those involved in the slave trade.
