Chapter 178 - Karate Island #25

After the cleanup during the break, the audience began to return to their seats at the appointed time but this time the whole stadium was filled with more people than earlier.

Alyssia sat and watched from her seat but nearby several figures appeared not too far away.

Kid, Wire and Heat assisted Killer into his seat to watch the remaining show together, Killer turned to Alyssia and nodded slightly in her direction to greet her, she responded with the same action before turning to face the arena again.

Killer had his mask replaced with a spare one that looked slightly old or made with slightly cheaper materials than his other one.

Meanwhile Kid watched both of their movements and then sent a deathly glare towards Alyssia but she continued to ignore him even if she could sense him through Observation Haki.

In her mind she was happily cheering. 'Good... good... keep remembering me, keep growing stronger and more famous. Keep feeding me precious points daily.'

Two members of the eleven worst generation would grow up to be able to contend against the Four Emperors or some of their direct subordinates at least, as they grew and gained more fame in the world, they would be providing Alyssia with a daily supply of points and it would continue to grow.

Kid would cause many problems in the world during his journey through the Grand Line but Alyssia could potentially stop his journey if she chose to do so and save many lives in the process.

However it was difficult to say if the people Kid killed truly deserved it or not because it was not properly explained in detail.

While pondering over the future events, Alyssia knew that she could not make a move against them but she could gain more points from them along with the various skills they would gain along the way of their journey.

Kid and Killer were crucial for the Sabaody and Wano arcs too and made perfect distractions if used correctly.

She closed her eyes and saw the last alert which awarded her enough points to let her purchase one or two advanced skills. 'Excellent!'

Unlike the usual smaller rewards from a single victory or a streak of victories, it was more beneficial to fight in more publicly recognised places like martial halls or competitions to gain more points.

The Karate Island competition may be less famous than the world martial arts championship that is known throughout the world and recognised by many but it is still a legitimate competition that could be said to be just underneath Dressrosa's coliseum matches and some other places for its fame and worldly recognition.

The rewards would not end there since her win would be published in the newspapers and spread far and wide, there were also the additional points gained from how others under herself perform.

Since those she taught are counted as students, if they win their matches or are able to at least get a decent position in the competition then she would be able to leech some points from their achievements after being rewarded by the system.

The noisy stadium became quiet as a tall man with boxing gloves entered the boxing ring prepared followed by Tristan as they were both dressed appropriately.

The referee checked them over quickly along with their gloves before signalling the announcers.

The male announcer smiled as he spoke towards the crowd of people. "Thank you everyone for your patience, now we will move on to the boxing finals. Here contestant Tristan will be facing off against  Jerry, as you all know... Jerry is the crowd favourite as he is widely known for his abilities but recently Tristan has proven her skills for all to see. Although there may be a significant difference in height and weight, I expect that each have their own advantages and disadvantages."

Ann snorted. "Do not speak too soon, you should remember the previous competition... this is not me questioning Jerry's abilities but instead reminding you not to underestimate those who may not look too threatening at first glance."

The male announcer raised his hands defensively. "Fine, I get it. I still favour Jerry though no matter what.."
