So far her experiments had been based on Electro technology and projectiles but their destructive power was limited.
If she were to create something of a larger scale then that may even conflict with the rules being set up in some way but there was some difference with what she had in mind compared to others.
The large railgun projectile would pierce through in a straight line and come to a halt when it can no longer continue through the air any longer causing a large path of destruction behind it but that would only be where it hard been aimed and pierced through and around where it passed.
So long as it is fired towards an enemy and away from civilians or innocents, it should achieve its purpose of causing damage to a ship or structure and possibly completely destroying it, killing those in its path.
The destruction would be strictly controlled and precisely aimed towards a threat but if it was something like a fire, disease, poison or bomb of some kind, many more would be harmed including allies and innocents.
Alyssia continued. "What are your views on human experimentation?"
Ein replied. "We are pretty laid back about it because cyborgs are something we see from time to time on the animals on the island and on some of our people who replaced parts with mechanical replacements out of a need to fix themselves or made modifications to make the selves into a cyborg themselves. In fact, there are few willing to undergo the process themselves since there are always risks involved. I do not condone anything that will create something unstable that will result in a living beings suffering or mutations of some sort. Experimentation can usually be done so long as you get the other person's consent or you are daring enough to carry it out on yourself or choose the path of testing it on animals first."
Alyssia suddenly thought about it. 'Indeed… my own research has treaded on the borders of that but I have made sure to ensure that everything will not result in any kind of mutations or abnormalities. After all… the two of them were made partly by me so I have to make sure they come out perfectly and have only the best!'
She then tilted her head. 'However… I think she is talking more about reckless projects that require far too much human sacrifices to even get close to reaching perfection. That is why mutations, abominations and things like zombies happen in movies, one wrongly chosen research topic and it can lead to chaos. Good thing the only thing close to zombies in this world is the ones belonging to Gecko Moria.'
She removed herself from her thought process. "You have a valid point… then what about the possibility of cloning?"
Ein looked a little serious. "That is a big no. There is one person, perhaps there may exist a twin, triplet or quadruplet that are all identical but they will all grow up differently and have different interests and life experiences. There is an issue with cloning because it creates a copy of a persons shell but what it will become is unknown. It could be a slave for their creator and who they were made from becoming a body double which is inhumane itself but there is also the risk of them replacing the original if there is no restrictions in place. It is a very complicated subject and we should just be happy that there is one of us or perhaps some that may share some similarities to ourselves."
Alyssia nodded. "I believe that some restrictions should be placed on artificial lives like robots too. Although they can have capabilities to learn, they must have some things put in place to prevent them from reaching a horrible conclusion and going against humanity. Often directives or missions like 'protect humans' can be taken as a restriction but also create an error. For example, it is stuck watching wars and conflicts unable to help in conflicts because it must help and protect but cannot do so against another human it must protect. To overcome this error or flaw or after doing so, the learning mechanical life form may walk down a dark and destructive path itself and may become humanities enemy."
Ein sighed. "The most advanced robots that have been made are by my master that can be considered as a living mechanical life form named Automata. However they seem friendly enough so would that even be a problem?"
Alyssia shook her head. "It is fine so long as their creator lives and receive guidance and care but what about after he passes away? How will they deal with the world after that? Nobody will know until it happens."
However she thought. 'One old man dies from choking on his food and the result is them taking off to the moon to attack Enel who indirectly caused the death… could it be a good thing to consider them as loyal and caring for their master or should this be taken as a sign of the threat they possess.'
If a man drops a banana skin on the ground, another trips on it and dies resulting in the Automata being on their own, would they take revenge and attack or even kill the man who indirectly killed someone but did not initially intend to?
If they did then they would be treated as criminals and be targeted by many, resulting in a further flawed worldview and further resentment since they could grasp human emotions and feel them themselves.
They may go down the path that Alyssia feared the most which was why she had brought it up.
She really did not like the idea of a robot life form uprising along with the rest of the dangers in this world.
Alyssia looked towards the many others in the room and placed a document on the table writing down the guidelines of the organisation. "I think it would be wise to stay away from selling dangerous items and weapons to others. Self defense items or guardian type creations would be okay to sell but there is always the risk of others taking them apart and turning them into a weapon so it is a difficult decision to make. What we wish to make and sell will help people in various ways and make their lives easier or safer, we should not get involved with the worlds affairs and sell weapons to countries. Hmm… how about this, we can only make weapons of our own within the specifications of the guidelines and upon being completed they must be registered to a person along with safety measures being put in place to prevent stealing or illegal sales from happening?"
If the people of Baldimore got involved with the worlds affairs and conflicts selling advanced weaponry many would covet what they had or wish to destroy them for the changes they have brought to the world.
Baldimore or the Creation Union would be the next in line for being subdued by the powerful influences in the world that lack a scientific team to produce advanced weaponry.
Kaido had Queen, the Marines and World Government had Vegapunk, the Revolutionary Army had Lindberg and Cesar Clown was a wildcard who had deals with Big Mom and Doflamingo after causing an explosion on Punk Hazard and escaping capture by the Marines.
Judge was independent without a large influence behind him so that made him a target for Big Mom to help increase her families power so she did not wish for herself to become a target instead.
After finishing writing the rules and guidelines along with the groups purpose and how it would operate, Alyssia put it in the middle of the table in front of many of her crew members who had some scientific talents or a decent foundation since she had picked them up. "If you wish to join then you are welcome but first; me, Nica, Ein and Ashwin need to sign as the leader and cofounders. Then you can sign to join below afterwards. Then it is final!"
