Riley sits at the top of the stairs looking down at the huge pile closing up the hole in the entrance like a cork of flesh. "That was fun." He groans standing up after a while and more penicillin. Riley reloads all the guns and lays them back down on the reception desk before heading into the basement to eat. Riley checks his horde buster and refills it's mags. "While really fun that was fucking tiring." Riley stares at the severed head on the bench. "I forgot what the fuck I named you." Riley confesses. Cocking his head to the side he listens to the moans of the zombies outside and feels his eyes grow heavier. "Kinda fucked up I feel more at home here surrounded by cannibal freaks and rot where I can be killed anytime than my actual home with people." Riley says, drinking a water bottle and leaning back against a pallet of ammo. "I guess I have become the creature I set out to." Riley says, closing his eyes and laying his head back against the bullets. "Also weird I feel more comfortable talking to corpses and heads I chopped off then those I fight so hard for, what a fucking world eh bud?" Riley mumbles before drifting to sleep.
Riley opens his eyes and pops his neck. "You know, bud I could get used to this." Riley says stretching and rubbing sleep from his eyes. "So today me and the sniper rifles got a date with the entrance. We gotta really block that bitch in so I don't get surprise skull chewers." Riley says grabbing a backpack he hadn't noticed earlier. "And go through this place again with a fine toothed comb." Riley says getting disappointed in himself for missing so many things. On a shelf in the armory Riley finds a side mount flashlight. Shaking it a few times Rile turns it on, searing his pupils with the very bright light. "Oh yeah definitely doing a better search." Riley says smiling. He attaches the flashlight to his horde buster and makes his way to the roof with a backpack full of 308 Rounds. Riley whistles while he checks and loads each mag and feeds a round into the bolt action rifle with the night scope. "Hey guys did you miss me?" Riley asks the stumbling horde below. Raising the rifle Riley gets to work. The first zombie in Riley's scope is another he noticed with no apparent bite marks on it. "What made you turn, I wonder?" Riley muses as he puts a round in their juicy brain. It seems the closer to the city he travels the more these kinds of zombies pop up. But Riley isn't in the research profession he was in the killing business. Riley lines up another shot and just before he pulls the trigger he notices movement in the courthouse across from the police station's entrance. Raising the rifle at the curious movement he is stunned by what he sees. A girl around 15 is trying to keep a zombie at bay. "It's not your problem." Riley tells himself just seconds before the zombie lunges for her throat and its head explodes. "Fuck." Riley says, dropping his head. The other zombies in the building begin converging on the sound of breaking glass in the room they are in. Riley drops his aim 1 floor and starts killing zombies in different rooms breaking windows as he goes. "Just couldn't keep from getting involved could you? No cause your a fucking idiot right?" Riley bitches to himself as he kills more zombies. "37 dead fucks." Riley sighs before checking on the girl. She isn't alone, 3 boys all younger than the last are standing beside her and in her hands is a little white board that says 'nice shot! Thanks for the save.' Riley shoots a zombie directly below them. The girl lifts a pair of binoculars to look at him and Riley groans. "Sorry Ethan." Riley says cutting off the corpses hand and writing on the roof door with it. 'He looked very shootable' Riley wrote. Going back to his sniper post he raises the rifle and checks on his 4 new companions in trapped fuckery.
