Chapter 67 - Pride

 When the king left, one of the lionesses, raised by her prowled forward from her previous slightly hidden spot. The old lioness watched her, respectful form; head low almost crawling, a sign of respect which pleased the old lioness greatly. The old lioness released a pleasing low roar deep in her throat encouraging her to come forward. The young lioness crept forward, her mind filled with disgust for the lion king, she felt that the king is filled with disrespect for the grand matriarch, who had sacrificed so much for them . "Grand matriarch," she called in a respectful roar, throaty and low. It cracked a bit due to her age which is still in the adolescent stage but close to maturing. The old lioness released a pleasing snarl, turning fully to befell her gaze on the much younger lioness.
