"Can you give me a moment, please? I need to wash my face."
"Of course, miss Du-Gooder, please." Sparing her a smile, I walked quickly towards the bathroom, closing the door. Walking to the stylish sink, I placed my hands under the tap gathering water and proceeded to wash my face. After I was finished, I patted my face gently before exiting the room. Prepared, I nodded to the maid, who waited patiently. "Then miss Du-Gooder please follow me."
This maid did not wait for my reply, but turned and left the room. Luckily, I was already prepared. Following close behind, I kept my head forward but did not show any arrogance. Stairs were taken, leading up to another level. This level drew my eyes with the statues standing directly at the top of the stairs where a massive door stood. I was stunned by this; the only similar door is my grandmother's when we had visited her on the mainland.
