He stopped the car in front of a hospital and brought the girl into it.
"Listen! There is an emergency. check her up first," he said to a nurse.
" Bring her there." The nurse led the way to the emergency ward and went to inform a doctor about it. He laid the girl on the bed and observed her face. She was so innocent. A doctor came in and started to examine her.
"What happened to her?" The doctor asked.
"I don't know. She came before my car but I didn't hit her. Maybe she fainted out of fear." He guessed.
"Ok, You go out." The doctor said and he came out.
After a while, the doctor came out.
"How is she now?" He asked.
"She has been given drugs. I have washed her stomach. She will regain consciousness soon. But it is a police case. And you have to cooperate with us." The doctor explained.
" I don't have time to cooperate with you. " He denied rudely.
" You can't go until she regains consciousness. We need your help to find her family." Before he could go, The doctor said professionally.
" It's not my headache. I am going. " He said bluntly and turned to leave but a nurse's voice stopped him.
" The patient has regained consciousness," she reported. The doctor went with her into the room. He thought for some moments then turned again and walked towards the room. He wanted to ask her why she was running on the road.
"She has lost her memory." The doctor's voice surprised him. He took a deep breath and came close to her. She was looking more beautiful than before. He blinked, trying not to be affected by her beauty.
"Look, little girl, tell me your name and your family's phone number. They'll be worried for you," he said in a serious but soft tone. the girl didn't answer him. She was staring at him with her eyes widened.
"Try to remember where your house is." He tried again. But she remained silent. He got annoyed and shook his head.
"She doesn't remember anything. why are you pressuring her," the doctor said.
"What do I do then? I can't stay here with her. Nor, I can leave her here alone. " He raged.
" take her to your home. " The doctor said casually.
" What?" He exploded. He wanted to get away from her spell but fate was bringing him close to her.
"I should have not helped her, " he muttered and turned to go.
"Ghazi" she made him still. It was his name. He was shocked. How did she know his name? He thought and turned to her.
"Why did you leave me. Ghazi!" She asked sadly. he was looking at her with his mouth open. And the doctor was looking at him with suspicious eyes.
.....
Aania was driving at high speed while listening to songs with headphones on her ears. It seemed that she didn't even care about her life.
She was lost in her thoughts when the traffic warden signaled her to stop from a distance and she stopped the car with a jolt. The traffic warden came close to her.
"What's the problem?" She glared at him.
The traffic warden glanced at this beautiful girl and got angry. He was already so done with the rebellious men and this was the rebellious girl.
"Madam, I'm filling the challan against you. Your speed was over. You have to pay the fine," he said, handing her a piece of paper. Aania looked at the paper first and then at the warden.
" How much?" She asked in a flat tone.
"Two hundred and fifty rupees," he said in a stern tone. Aania took money out of her purse and handed it to him.
"Madam, I only asked for two hundred and fifty. You are giving me a thousand rupees." The warden grabbed the note and spoke in surprise. Aania smiled.
"Keep it, you would avoid the hassle again and again." She spoke as if she was doing him a favor. He frowned with uncertainty.
"Next time, if I'm going through here, don't stop my car to issue the challan. I've paid the fine three times in advance ... hmm," she said, raising her eyebrows. Then the car started and moved forward at the previous speed. The poor traffic warden, holding a thousand rupees in his hand, with his mouth open, was watching the dust behind the car.
"Why are you standing here like a statue?" Wasim, who was on warden duty with him, came to him, shook his shoulder and asked. he turned and looked at him.
"what happened?" Wasim asked.
" Today's generation is bad, I do not know what they think of themselves. The car that just passed by here, Hardly an eighteen-year-old girl, was in it. But she was driving the car as she took part in a race. And when I asked for a fine of two hundred and fifty rupees, she gave me a thousand rupees and said that I am paying this advance penalty for three times. Don't stop me next time." Akhtar said with anger.
"Oh, that girl wasn't the DIG's daughter," said Wasim, putting her hand on his forehead.
"What do I know?" Akhtar shrugged.
"oh! Bro, his father is DIG Sindh " he told him.
"If she is the daughter of a DIG, does the law not apply to her? She was driving so fast. How can I keep watching in silence?" He was honest with his job.
"Now consider that your job is gone," Wasim spoke in an anxious tone.
" I don't care."
"Listen to me, don't stop this girl next time, otherwise she will kick you out of the job in two minutes. It is not our business to teach her law. If she doesn't care about herself, then what can we do? And by the way, the children of such rich people play an important role in increasing the finances of the government by paying different fines. "Wasim grabbed the money from his hand and put it in his pocket.
"She did not give the bribe, but paid the advance fine." He protested.
"Who knows that this is fine? Don't think too much. Such opportunities do not come again. "Wasim laughed and said casually, he leered at him.
.....
"Look, I am ghazi but I am not the one whom you know. I don't know you" He asserted.
"You forgot me already " the girl's eyes filled with tears.
"Stop it, girl. I will not melt by your tears." He got vexed. But a part of him had melted.
"If you leave me now, I will commit suicide." Tears came out of the girl's eyes.
"I think we should get help from the police," he said, looking away from the girl.
"Let me ask her once. I think this girl is right. you look suspicious to me" The doctor said and turned to the girl.
"Hey, little girl, who is Ghazi?" He asked softly.
"He is Ghazi. My fiancee" "the girl pointed at him. his mouth fell open again.
"But you may have a misunderstanding," the doctor said.
"I did not misunderstand. That's him. He does not want to talk to me, so he has become indifferent." The girl said innocently. Ghazi gritted his teeth.
"What happened to you before you just fainted?" The doctor questioned.
"He was leaving me. I stopped him but he didn't listen to me." The sadness appeared on the girl's face.
"don't you remember you came in front of a car," the doctor asked again.
"No," the girl nodded. The doctor took a deep breath and looked at Ghazi. He was looking at her thoughtfully.
"Ok fine. I admit that I am your fiancee. " He gave up at last. The doctor became confused.
"Let's go with me." He lifted her up in his arms suddenly.
"I…. I can walk." The girl stammered.
"Don't be shy. I am your fiancee. That's what you told me. didn't you?" He raised his eyebrow. And she blinked. Their faces were so close. The girl lowered her head, putting her hands on his shoulders.
