William Veston, a retired teacher, a man who held no notable personal power, economic, military or political power, what he did possess was the connections and favors of many high ranking guilds and high ranked heros
Even though he is only a c ranked hero, he was the head teacher at the Academy of Ashton, he was one of the best trainers possible, even though he wasn't that talented he really is a genius in matters of martial art and magic
He helped many in difficulty, after the second cataclysm, because of the attack of demons many become orphans, and he welcomed them with an open heart, he give them a refuge until the government helps them, he even trained some who now stand at the top of the humanity and one of them became one of the seven head of the union
He was loved by all the humanity, after he became the head teacher of the Ashton Academy, he married his childhood friend Marley Remigton, who eventually become pregnant, everything was fine until one day when his wife who was about to give birth was killed with his child
It was that day that all changed for William, he was rarely seen at the Academy, he tried to find who killed his wife and his child, he even asked for help but nobody find out the truth until now. But what was not known to the world was that his wife forcedly give birth before, because she find out something was wrong, and give the child to a trusted maid for sometime but due to some unfortunate incident the maid died and the child was taken to the Orphanage
And I knew all information he needed, I am sure that he will help me in exchange for finding out who killed his wife and for his child who is now supposed to be dead
He now lives at the border of a forest that is near to Ashton city and I think I am in the same forest but I am opposite to his house
I don't know if it was intentional or not that I appeared in the same forest where he lived but that save me a lot of time
But before that I need to figure out all the system function, as I say 'shop' in my mind

As I analyzed the screen I literally split blood, why?, because it's laterally impossible to gain system point
Mana Crystal are found in Mana veins, and humanity only has 100 low-level, 10 mid-level and 1 high-level Mana veins and just to get 1000 low-level Mana crystal is nearly impossible because it monopolized by the union, even guilds can not have access to Mana veins, but of course they have Mana crystal
And as for why there are so important ?
Because Mana crystals are laterally used in everything, to forge weapons, armors, to make new technologies and even in making potions, there are even some high ranked heroes who trade unofficially with mana crystal
As for Mana core, it is a core formed in an animal or monster that help the monster/animal to use mana
Animal and monster, there are the same the only difference is that monster couldn't stand mana, so they lose their mind, they didn't difference between friend and foe, only blood remain in there passage, there are savage, devoted of intelligence, as for animals they remain the same, just that they become more dangerous and they are now capable of using mana
If we compare the level of danger between a monster and animal, it's the animal who win because they have intelligent, they are capable of working in group, and between these animals there are some who are hostile to humanity and other who are neutral, if we didn't attack them, they will not attack you
Generally when there is a mana veins, a lot of monsters and some animals migrate there, which will lead to the formation of a dungeon, so when there is a dungeon it will a win-win situation for humanity and others race, because if they clean the dungeon, they can have a mana veins and mana cores

Even the biggest guilds operating do not dare challenge the authority of the union as it would spell permanent doom if they clashed against them. The union has the highest number of S-ranked heroes at its disposal making it a behemoth that stood at the peak of humanity
What makes the Union especially fearsome was not the fact that they had the most amount of S-ranked Heroes at their disposal

Each head was a single-digit ranker in the Heroes ranking, which depicts the strongest members of humanity
The Hero system was a system created by the union and ranks an individual based on their achievements and strength
This was a system that was created with the purpose of motivating individuals to become stronger, as not only does this bring glory to their name, but appropriate monetary compensation was given every year to top-ranking Heroes
Since the second cataclysm, humanity has seen its kind who lost themselves to power, they become lawless, they killed their own kind for power, money...
The union has also classified each criminal that was categorized based on the crimes they had committed
The union has placed a bounty on the head of each criminal, and the reward increases as the rank of the criminal increases
But to truly be characterized as a criminal that healed the name of the villain, was an individual that has sign a pact with a demon. That was a pledge to devote their lives to the demons, which the demon in return grants them part of their power
As demons were currently in a standoff against multiple races, in order to weaken their opponents they resorted to methods that created internal strife, and by giving power to individuals who were willing to follow their command for the sake of power, they successfully managed to continuously weaken their enemies
This formula which has worked for eons allowed demons to propel themselves into becoming a dominant race across the worlds
Facing the constant pressure from the demons both externally and internally, only an organization such as the Union could barely keep the power balance among humanity in check

Just as I walked out of the forest, what appeared in front of me was a wooden house, as I approached the house, a huge pressure come down on me
As I tried to resist the pressure, my eyes turned red, before returning to its deep crystal bleu, as killing intent spread through the air and what came after was a big pressure bigger was relesed by me
"Who are you" a man with brown messy hair and black eyes with a pale face come out of no where, it was like he didn't sleep for weeks, as he approached me he took a fighting pose
"Calm down I am here to help you" I say as with a cold monotone voice
"Help me?, I don't think so, why do you wear a mask?" he say like he was ready to fight
"Honestly, I don't have much choice I have to wear this, and you don't left with much choice ether, can we talk I know what you want to know"
I shook my head and raised my two hands, as we stared at each other eye to eye for a couple of seconds, William suddenly say
"What are you talking about?"
"Marley Remigton"
A peaceful silence regain as we started each other again, we stood like this for a minute before he say
"Come in"
Walking inside to the house, I sit down on a chair as he walked to me before releasing the same monstrous pressure
"Tell me... who...are…..you? And what....did you have...to do with.....that accident"
With his body trembling, William let out some tears stream down his face as he mourned for the death of his loved ones
Watching the frail-looking man break down in front of me, I chose to remain silent and patiently waited for him to calm down
Wiping his eyes, William sit in front of me
"Sorry you had to see that"
"No, I understand"
I shook my head and got up as well
"Honestly I have nothing to do with that accident, it just I have some information and you can help me so I decide to make a deal with you!" I said with a clod voice
"what do you what" William say as he trembled

"Excuse me?"
Confused. William raised his eyebrow and looked at me

"Ah! that's right! I still had not asked for your name... my name is William Veston!"
"Ok let's talk, let's make a deal, what I want is pretty simple, I want you to help me join the Academy with this mask and to freely travel where I want with this mask, and lastly I don't want some bug to constantly watch me or try to find who I am!!"

I replied as a clod light passed through my eyes, even though I know his character from the novel, I can't really trust him, it's just my character, I changed I am not anymore that naive little boy
After that I let out a sign, as I know that will be extremely difficult even for him, to let someone who had no record, Someone who is constantly hiding all his information even his face and on the top of that a potential enemy, nobody will leave a person like that free in this time where humanity is constantly attacked externally and internally, that task is nearly impossible
