Looking at the enormous portal of the Academy which strongly resembled that of the nobles in the Middle Ages but also at the immense infrastructures of the Academy, I marveled
Just as I approached the gate, I found that some people were waiting outside the portal, as if they were waiting for someone, as soon as they saw me, they came towards me
As they approached me, I could clearly see who they were, a middle-aged man who I assume is the Principal and 4 people who look like some sort of guard or were the bodyguard to the principal
In the novel, the Principal wasn't even mentioned so I guess he wasn't an important character but even though he's not an important character he's still the Principal of the Ultimate Academy of humanity, so it didn't surprise me that he had guards to protect him
The Principal smiled brightly, as he ran toward me and wiped his sweat with a plain, white handkerchief. Though his glasses with gold frames and that pot belly of his were impressive
"Good morning, sir Lionheart!, I'm so happy and honored to meet you!!, sir William has already informed me of your situation, by the way, my name is Jack Grim and I am currently the Principal of the Ashton Academy, there is no need to be formal, you can ask me anything but..."
He wiped his sweat, as he tried to find any kind of reaction from me
"Say it!!"
I said casually, without any emotion, as the Principal run his handkerchief on his forehead
"for... you... to.. wear.. a.... mask, we can arrange.... it between us for the moment but..... it will be necessary that I ask the authoriz-"
Before he could finish I cut him off and pulled a letter out of my pocket and threw it at him, as he started to read it he then breathed a sigh of relief
he then scaned the lettre with his watch before giving me back the letter
"Ufff.., there's no need to worry anymore, very good now, if you don't mind, sir Lionheart I'll take you straight to your class!!"
I didn't say anything, just decided to follow him in silence, we arrived at the door of a classroom that was already open, precisely the [A1]
The letter "A" stood for the floor level which went from A to E, and the number "25" referred to the classroom number
And of course, I knew this classroom. This was the classroom where the protagonist and the other main characters study in the Academy. Many schemes and plots from jealous rivals and competitors happened in this class
just as we were about to enter we heard a discussion which did not surprise me
"Excuse me for my delay. I had a slight accident before coming here so I couldn't make it in time"
"..."
A great silence settles, then a rather charming voice breaks the silence
"What's your name?"
"My name is Kyle Elford, Miss"
"Ohh.., very well, this is the first and the last time, I accept a delay, now find a place and sit down"
When we entered, all the attention that was focused on the previous student shifted to us, as the Principal says
"Miss Monica, can we have a little chat please"
Monica turned her attention back to us, she was surprised at first to find someone masked, but didn't think too much, then she answered the Principal and left the class
"Sure, why not!"
All people in the classroom were giving me a curious stare, it's probably because I am masked
Indeed it was because of the mask, these people have probably never seen someone masked, the same goes for those who have a powerful background
Because of the existence of villains the Union forbade peoples to hide their identity, so they were quite curious
Why would anyone be masked in addition at the Academy, where most of the people who work here are from the Union
I ignored all those stares and turn my attention to the student who caused the commotion before I came
Short black hair, deep abyssal black eyes, muscular jawline, and well-built body. His entire presence and aura were like that of a newly forged sword straight from the furnace, with keen and sharp edges that threatened to cut anything that obstructed its path. His looks instantly drew the attention of most of the girls in the class
Kyle Elford, the Protagonist of the novel. Like in those cliché novels, he was born in a normal family, with a loving mother and a hardworking father, but tragedy stuck him, he has seen his parents killed before his eyes, eventually raised by his only family, his uncle, he swore to purge all the demons
Desperate to survive in the world where only strength matters, where strong prey the week, he accidentally finds himself being the heir of [Leviatan style], the moment where he was supposed to die
As I looked around the classroom for a place to sit, my attention was instantly drawn towards an individual which looks rivaled that of Kyle Elford
He could've been regarded as one of the most handsome individuals in the whole academy, instantly drew the attention of most of the girls in the class
Haughtily sitting on the last row on the right was a blonde youth with clear green eyes and a dignified face. His slightly long hair gently rested on top of his broad shoulders, and his perfectly masculine jawline seemed as if it was chiseled by a sculptor
From time to time you could see girls secretly taking peeks at his handsome face as they shyly blushed and turned their heads away whenever their eyes met
Jon Gray
The protagonist's rival
Descendant of the Gray family that currently owned a majority stake of the second-largest guild in the human domain ''Blood-Spear' and son of an SS ranked hero
'You could definitely tell he was one of those typical arrogant young master type characters'
I thought as I looked at him from the corner of my eye. His condescending attitude that made people feel like they were below him could be vividly seen by the way he looked down on almost everyone in the class
Born with a silver spoon, and provided with whatever he desired, it was almost inevitable for his character to become like that
Although he had the vibe of a villain, he was actually part of the 'goods guys', it was only after he had his lesson that his character goes through a series of hurdles, he starts to mature and slowly becomes more bearable to stay with
Just as he attracted most of the girl's attention, seated in front of him was 3 slender beauty's that can bring the fall of countries, they attracted the majority of the boy's gazes
These 3 were considered as the 3 goddesses of the Academy, because these 3 were childhood friends, they were quite close to each other
On the far left sits a young girl with straight gray hair, reaching to the waist. her exquisite little face which was devoid of any makeup, displayed an image of natural beauty and maturity that made anyone near her want to protect her
Ignoring everyone that was trying to talk to her, She had a cold and aloof air around her that made her extremely hard to approach
Luna Winters
Daughter of Alexander Winters. Guildmaster of 'StarsGuradians' guild and also a SS ranked hero, the current number 1 guild in the human domain who posed 2 SS ranked heroes, the second who is the aunt of Luna
Like Jon, she was also born with a silver spoon, but unlike him, she did not become haughty. In fact, she was quite the opposite of Jon, well-mannered, intelligent, and oftentimes kind. Whenever the protagonist would get in trouble she would always find ways to help him
If I had to point out a flaw about her though, it would be the fact that she was cold. Very cold
Born in such a prestigious family she had no choice but to learn and suffer all the schemes that were directed at her family. Oftentimes she would be targeted by other guilds or organizations so that they could use her as leverage and between those ploys, I need to save her from one of them, because it's somehow related to William and it can also affect the entire society
As she was constantly exposed to such schemes and ploys, she was left with no choice but to mature earlier than normal people, thus giving rise to her cold character
in the middle sits a young girl focused on her book, She had an elegant and beautiful porcelain face that perfectly accompanied her black hair that gently fell behind her back. Most eye-catching was her hair that was Braid style and her rosy moist lips that could tempt any man who saw them. A pair of pure glassy eyes hid underneath thin-framed glasses that put further emphasis on her eyes, enhancing her beauty. Her swan-like slender neck, under which her delicate sexy clavicle and full front that was lightly exposed, only further added to her charm as her delicate waist and creamy white legs added the finishing touches to her peerless appearance
Adela, an orphan without any last name who also decide to not have a last name
A world-class chess champion. What lies in front of her are only victories. The word 'defeat' doesn't exist in her dictionary. She always seems to be one step ahead in things
Usually, she acts slowly and sometimes it makes others to feel stuffy. But when a game starts, she concentrates on the game, making it seem her usual self is a lie
She likes to think and feel thrilled when she wins a game by her precise decision, with a well-calculated strategy
At the age of 12, she was awarded the Humanity treaty award, the most notable award for those who achieve outstanding breakthroughs that propel humanity to the next level
The reason why she won the award was because she was able to prove the molecular decomposition theorem that stumped a lot of famous scientists all over the world
Her discovery was a major scientific achievement that shook the whole scientific community
With the molecular decomposition theorem, diseases such as cancer that plagued the world were no longer an issue as this theorem directly tackled the crux of the problem!
She was one of my favorite characters in the novel
And beside her was sitting a young girl with brown-golden hair. She had crystal blue eyes, a small but not too small nose, and a well-proportioned face. Her white skin that did not have any gaps accompanied by her beautiful doll-like appearance made anyone who looked at her lose themselves in her beauty. She had a well-developed body, where everything that should've developed, was developed and her elegant yet slightly arrogant demeanor added more to her charm
Currently, her cherry red lips were parted in an annoyed pout which look quite cute
Emma Rosechest, daughter of humanity most richest woman and who is also an S rank hero. One of the most powerful women in the human domain right now
Her character is quite playful, she has what we call a 'tomboyish' style character. She was sometimes rude and impatient, but oftentimes she was kind
I sighed ignoring all those curious looks and found myself a seat in the back row, isolated from the class

A/N : I post a chapter in advance because I probably won't have time this weekend but if by pure chance I have time I promise you there will be another chapter.
