Sloan had become a wanted enemy of Destiny, an enemy that had to be eliminated as he used the entire organization for his own personal gain.
And in addition to Sloan's Fate Wanted, Firefox saw more Fate Wanted.
Hers, the gunsmith's, the tinkerer's, the butcher's ...
Wanted, Fox's eyes flickered to the others that Mike had controlled with his powers, a hint of determined killing intent slowly showing.
Kill them and then die yourself.
It was fate's choice, it was destiny's plan.
Noticing the look in Fox's eyes, Mike nodded.
This kind of person who was ruthless enough to kill even herself for the sake of her so-called beliefs, though it seemed a little foolish, was to be admired.
Cross and Wesley stood together, silent as they looked at the people on the ground and looked to Mike with questioning eyes.
Mike disarmed the ability.
The Assassins looked back in confusion.
Weren't they fighting?
How had they been tied up?
How could they not remember?
After the confusion, they looked to the three on the side, fear flooding their eyes.
Although the cause was unknown, they now seemed to be lambs to slaughter.
"Aren't you the ... Phantom Wolf?"
Suddenly, some of the 'old men' in the crowd recognised Mike.
Mike turned his head to look and waved his hand, saying, "Hello, Scarface"
"It's really you?"
Scarface looked at the still young Mike in shock, then at three and said, "You're with them?"
"Not really."
Mike said indifferently, and when he saw that the men still wanted him to ask something, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Quiet all!"
The words held power.
There was a silence.
Mike said, "Let me show you something."
Although the vast majority of the people here were not as strong in their beliefs as Fox, the very fact that these things were told to them completely shattered their faith, and this them included Fox and Cross, and as for Wesley, the young rookie who had been in the The Fraternity for over a month, he hadn't been affected much yet.
Reaching out and pressing his fingers to his temples, Mike gave the men all the memories he had about 'Destiny'.
The crowd was bewildered, and then the chaos of the scene ensued.
Some were crying, some were angry, some were confused, and some were relieved ....
They looked incredulously at Mike, who had a calm face.
And as for Fox and Cross, the two people's faith completely collapsed, they feel as if their strength drained away, so that they had a feeling that they could not breathe.
"What is this ...?"
Cross looked at Mike and murmured.
Mike said calmly, "The truth about where that finger came from, and the fate of The Fraternity's faith."
"That's what you saw from that broken finger?"
A bitter smile appeared on the face of the Cross.
Mike nodded, then with a flash of his gaze, took control of Fox, who had raised her gun and pointed it at herself.
She had actually tried to kill herself.
To be Destiny's assassin, it was the only reason she lived and fought for, only to find out in the end that the so-called Destiny was a human.
Although the other had the power to see the future, it was very different from fate itself.
Her faith had crumbled, what she had done, her world had been turned completely upside down and she had no purpose to live for.
Sensing the Fox's thoughts at the moment, Mike's voice rang out in his head.
"No, there is more you can do."
The fox was bewildered and was inwardly in pain.
"Remember how you feel now, it will allow you to grow." Mike continued with a sigh, "Fate never chose you, and you don't have to feel like it abandoned you, that 'person' doesn't represent fate at all."
"But what have I been doing all these years for?"
"To kill one person and save a thousand ... In the end, you just want to be a hero who saves others, that's why you prefer to be a gun in the hands of 'fate', isn't it?"
"A hero who saves others?"
Fox muttered.
Mike continued, "Now that you're no longer in the hands of 'fate', you're free! Have you lost your faith in saving others instead?"
"The belief in saving others? I am free?"
"Yes, you are free! You don't fight for some bullshit destiny, you fight for your beliefs!"
Fire looked down, her face still blank, and muttered, "But what am I supposed to do?"
"If you don't know what to do next, I can introduce you to a place to go."
"Okay ... I'll take it if it saves the others!"
Mike exhaled and looked to cross.
Cross had the same problem and was similarly confused to Firefox.
Mike could only be a psychotherapist once more.
The Wesley ... guy was just purely trying to change his life, not as complicated as these assassins.
Mike looked to the assassins on the ground with varying expressions and sighed softly.
When it comes down to it, these people all joined The Fraternity because of their faith.
But Mike had no intention of enlightening them one by one, just the two of them, Fox and Cross, had cost him a lot of words, and these were almost a hundred assassins ...
Better to leave it to Nick Fury, he's a pro.
Still, it was better for these people not to have memories about meeting him today.
Mike's eyes flickered and the psychic power appeared.
Mike found the relevant memories, replaced the person who had told them about the 'fate' of The Fraternity by himself with Nick Fury, and then controlled them to sleep.
Mike looked over to Fox and Cross and after seeing that they were now fairly stable and no longer had any thoughts of taking themselves out, he crooked his finger at Wesley.
Wesley hesitated and walked over.
Mike said, "I'll leave it to you to keep an eye on this place, someone will be here to receive these men in a few minutes."
"Leave it to me? What about you? "
"I've got things to do!"
Mike looked at his watch.
With a flash of his eyes, Mike burned Nick Fury's image into Wesley's mind before the embodied power was about to dissipate.
"You can go with him too, if you want to change your life."
Mike said, glancing at Fox and Cross and confiding in Wesley, "Keep an eye on them, don't let one of them fail to think straight and kill themselves again."
Wesley instantly felt his shoulders sink.
"And finally, don't say anything about me to the others."
Mike instructed, patting Wesley on the shoulder and saying, "I got my eye on you, boy!"
Without waiting for Wesley to say anything, he turned around and.. disappeared in a gust of wind.
Wesley looked at it with amazement.
Rubbing his eyes, he looked aside at the Fox and Cross, and then at the sleeping assassins on the floor.
Outside the textile factory, Mike looked behind him and smiled faintly.
He had finally said goodbye to the past for good.
Not only that, he had made two deals and had even helped these people with their re-employment.
As for developing them into a force of their own?
Mike gave a low laugh and shook his head.
It wouldn't be of much use to the family, so he might as well spend more time with his daughter.
