Chapter 25 - Homecoming

Ryan drove the car in a different way. Not to my house, but to his house. I asked him earlier and only answered with a smile. None of the answers really satisfied my curiosity.

The car stopped in front of a very familiar building. Ryan opened the gate and then drove his car back into the yard. I didn't want to wait for him to open the door so I chose to get out of the car first. There was a bit of annoyance in my heart when he had silenced me for a long time. What exactly did I do wrong?

I stepped inside and plopped down on the couch, letting Ryan do whatever it took. While I was struggling with my own world, I wasn't in the mood to spoil my mood with his cold attitude today.

"You take a shower first, then rest," he said while sipping a glass of cold mineral water. I didn't respond to his words, just like he did to me. I got up and was about to leave, but his hand quickly grabbed my arm, holding me back.
