Chapter 292 - And The Winner Is... Part 1

Kyurem

Kyurem is one of the few Legendaries that actively help humanity. Actively providing a kingdom wisdom and protection, unlike Calyrex who believed humanity needed appropriate guidance and became their ruler in his lands, or Ho-oh and Lugia who blessed them.

Excluding Adam, Kyurem believed he had done his best at protecting humanity.

He didn't let an unknown Pokemon destroy its territory. Nor did he fear Arceus choosing to surrender before putting up a fight.

Only a fool or a hardheaded bastard like Regigigas won't realize Arceus is targeting them.

And so, not long after Calyrex 'submitted' to Arceus, Kyurem rushed towards Arceus angrily. Regardless of how Calyrex was, he was still one of the few that cared for humanity, in short, his ally.

This is why he couldn't understand how Adam allowed Arceus to touch him, nor did he get why Progenitor Ho-oh and Progenitor Lugia ignored Calyrex's plights.

Indeed, the two have newborns to watch over, but they could've still helped an ally in hand... and maybe they did suffer and are still suffering from the poison of Nihelgo, making one not sure how long they will survive... Based on these facts, Kyurem started to understand why they couldn't interfere.

But it didn't stop Kyurem from crying. Not after getting brutally crushed by Arceus no less, he considers himself the best 'Dragon' Pokemon out there. Necrozma just has the typing and Eternatus was an overgrown Seviper.

His power isn't fancy either. Kyurem focuses on using elemental breaths and its impenetrable scales which weren't so impenetrable while fighting Arceus.

And this is why he had lost. Kyurem lost the versatility a Pokemon has. Pokemons without a gold talent could've still learned Space-Time, Luck, Casualty, Death, and Life. Although not as great as having the ability for them, they could've made it difficult to find one's weakness, being another reason why fights can last long.

Having escaped from Arceus, he didn't know that their game of tag had just begun.

"Beautifly Sound Wave," With his Beautifly taking the lead, a powerful soundwave defeated numerous Zubats and Rattatas rushing towards them, followed by a String Shot wrapping up the grunts.

"This isn't what I came for," Professor Bradford complained. He rather continues his research than enter into a conflict he doesn't care about in the least. However, he's already here and he did rather not leave a criminal organization unchecked.

Having his Beautifly cut opened the last door with Air Slash, he saw the same group of kids once more with a.

"Cosmoem!" He exclaimed excitedly. Team Rocket had likely already left and it's no longer his business, this Pokemon, however, needs his utmost attention.

About to rush forward, he was quickly entangled in Beautifly's String Shot, who shakes her head helplessly.

Bluebluebulba: This isn't the time for research.

GothatD: Unless, of course, this is 'that' research.

YoungMIstressLeona: Professor, you got to find out what's going on.

SuperNerd: Indeed, wherever Team Rocket is heading has to be somewhere important. It likely has something to do with why most Champions and former Champions are missing too.

AN: Let's just jump right past the events Ash and crew would go through. Don't want to repeat a scene that occurred in anime/games, especially when you all likely know what they need to do to enter Ultra Space. The additional fact that their roles are audience in this war due to their strength, doesn't help much either.

Oh, they kinda like Luffy back when he tried to save Ace but much weaker? weaker? OK, I'm getting sidetracked. Let's resume.

...

Location - Ultra Space, Ultra Megalopolis.

In multiple spaces in Ultra Space, multiple battles were occurring.

With Trainer Red, being the jump starter Arceus used to ignite this war, Arceus had used multiple means to gain an advantage in Ultra Space.

Sadly Necrozma won't have any stamina issues thanks to being in Ultra Space. However, had never intended to let this battle be drawn out like last time. Arceus had prepared many means to defeat Necrozma quickly while trying to save the better means for the original Arceus to use, not wanting to let the original Necrozma gain a better chance after all.

Their battlefield is covered in the blinding lights Necrozma repetitively uses. However, Arceus Legend Plate has done its job perfectly in neutralizing these attacks.

Legend Plate allows most if not all laws effects to be neutralized. Now only Necrozma's attack's speed, quantity, and quality matter, any other special effects won't work.

With Necrozma's specialty being light, let's just say this was barely any help.

It's not like Chaos, Time, or Space what's speed, quantity, and quality comes from the effects making the abilities obsolete in front of Arceus nor is it like Destruction depending on usage is absolute garbage without its effects.

No, Light special effects are mostly supportive and even the offensive properties, Necrozma has the means to safeguard its effects.

"Check!" Necrozma mocks.

Hundreds of dots appeared around Arceus. each firing out an Origin boosted Prismatic Laser. A direct hit from this indeed could kill, Arceus and the only reason these things could form was because of the blinding lights Necrozma prepared beforehand.

A solid check assuming...

Arceus replied. "Order Border,"

Prismatic Lasers fired toward Arceus, endlessly moving forwards inches away from Arceus forever in the same position.

Collapsing the Space alone wouldn't have stopped Necrozma's Prismatic Lasers nor would destroying Time. What he had done was a border in space. Practically the turning the space surrounding Arceus as the border of the Universe, an impenetrable border that almost anything can't get through without luck.

"Check," Arceus said. "Puppeteer,"

Space bends forth, bringing a Spiritomb and a Blissey. One radiates humongous amounts of Negative energy while the other radiates humongous amounts of Positive energy,

With a boost from Arceus, the emotional energies in the two of them multiply exponentially. Making it seem as though they have become incarnates of their respective energy.

"Judgement," Using Necrozma's light against him, the lights wrapped around Necrozma ensnaring him. Meanwhile, the emotional energies from Spiritomb and Blissey were siphoned into the cocoon of light ensnaring Necrozma forcefully.

Unfortunately, the speed at which it was siphoning out wasn't fast enough. It won't take a second before Necrozma breaks out and counterattacks, and that's where the runes came in.

Runes are implanted into the 'inheritors' of his emotional energies. He could only lament the price they did be forced to pay for the greater good.

Pity, he couldn't find Pokemons he deemed more qualified in his timeline. Those he deemed deserving of inheriting these wonderful 'blessings'.

As for the price, obliteration of one's existence.

These runes would forcefully manipulate one's energy core to speed up the process, using Arceus's Origin energy. It wouldn't be an issue if it was their own, but each individual's Origin is toxic if it enters someone else's core, and we have only mentioned the core so far.

The effects of Origin on the soul can change be anything from changing one's soul to be an exact duplicate of the Origin user's possessor (personality-wise) to self-detonating the soul due to confusion and eventually deciding to erase its memories completely to start over in a new life.

But the corruptive power of Origin would destroy the little remaining energy left to maintain a soul after washing away the memories.

This is why one would cease to exist through this method.

Of course, an Origin user can prevent another's Origin from passing through their body. However, Arceus would've never chosen someone with the potential to be one, or at least someone who wouldn't have enough time to awaken it.

And this is also why Arceus is confident in defeating.

As for what Puppeteer does?

Complete cleansing of one's Positive and Negative emotions through Judgement, making one the ideal Puppet after capture (Pokeball).

With this being a soul attack, one done by Arceus no less. This could end with Necrozma's defeat.

Might just need one more chapter after the next to end this arc.
