He walked through the woods and couldn't find any animals. But then he thought that he could use the mist that the fairy gave to him. He looked at the mist bottle, the label read that it only lasted for two hours. Keefe really needed to find those animals quickly before the mist died out. He breathed the mist in, smelling of toad skin(don't ask how I knew that), after a few seconds, he could hear almost everything. He dearly needed some more of this stuff. He started to float. Keefe wriggled in the air, he turned right, and suddenly he zoomed off course. After a few minutes, he got the hang of it, and he saw so many animals! After about two hours of searching through sticks and scrubs, he had cuts and bruises from falling down so much. He found about ten animals before the mist died out and he went plummeting to the ground. Luckily a tree caught him on his way, Keefe tumbled down the tree, got thrown from branch to branch, and at last his feet touched the ground. He lay there for a couple of seconds catching his breath. He now had to take the journey by foot to the remaining seven that were in the troll territory. He threw a net over the animals, and tied the sack up. As he found a cavity in a rock, he pushed the net in, making himself a tiny shelter. Keefe sat there for hours, looking up at the stars, who am I, he wondered, and then his eyes closed, and he gave up to sleep.
Keefe looked down at a floor, sprinkled with stars. A gold shimmering outline of a man appeared. He said,
"I have waited for you far too long. You will find me in the labyrinth, and from there, I shall guide you. You will find me soon, my loved one." Keefe reached his hand to touch him, only to be jerked back to reality. Keefe rubbed at his eyes, draping the sack over his shoulder, and he started to walk to Mr. Farmer's farm.
Half way he heard some grumbling, to the left of the bushes, Keefe settled down on the net to see what was happening. He snuck into the bushes and saw what was happening. Two trolls were arguing about whether they should eat the deer or bring it to the king. Both trolls wore ragged red shirts and leather pants with a club slung over their shoulders. Keefe wanted to get a closer look, but then, "Snap!" A stick cracked under the sole of his foot. Both trolls looked around, when they moved their eyes over Keefe, he ducked into the bushes behind him, hoping to be covered, it was no use, they stared at Keefe for a second, just to make sure, Keefe clumsy stepped on another twig, aww god, Keefe thought, I'm going to take yoga classes when I get back. A tiny bit of his mind whispered, if you get back.
