Intertwined hands shared with her soothing hums, gave a sedative sensation to both as they don't speak to eachother but eventually grew comfortable in the other's silence. His past, alas, it was truly the heart wrenching story but just for a moment, his full attention focused on the occasion being currently presented to him. She gave his head a gentle caress whilst gazing into his eyes that for now, even if it was just a little, was filled with slight fondness. The dreamy aroma took effect on the boy as he begins to drift off to sleep, Persephone sees the slumbering boy beginning to fall unconscious as she closes his eyes gently.
"Sleep well Ray." Those words echoed through his mind before his consciousness droops down. He smiles at Persephone and then falls asleep on her lap.
Their position completely replicates a mother and a child who both take in each other's presence as to comfort the two of them. Persephone does not move from her position as to not wake up Ray because he looked very peaceful when he drifted off to sleep. She felt soft and decides lay on the tree as to rest as well but before she got to rest, she saw Ralse, Relsa and Hayls looking at her with worried faces. She then got up and at first was surprised that she forgot about her subordinates but then gave a warm smile over to them. She puts a finger and quietly gestures them to come closer as they hesitantly walk over to Persephone. She hushes them as she points at the sleeping Ray.
"Master Persephone...who the hell is he and why is he on your lap?" Ralse commented, worried that it might've been the presence they were suffocating from before.
"Don't worry, he has calmed down and he is my friend." Persephone admitted that it was the previous aura but states that he calmed down.
Both the three subordinates gulp as she confirms the powerful aura but they agreed to not waking him up as Persephone looks like she didn't actually mind it. They all rest while on the tree and waits for the evening. Ray and Persephone's subordinates sleep except for Persephone as she for some reason, did not get tired. She makes use of her sudden activeness and decides to protect the four sleeping boys in their sleep. The night eventually got darker as the only source of light Persephone had was the blue-moon reflection glistening through everyone's faces.
She slightly moves but unfortunately woke up Ray as he gets up slowly rubbing his eyes.
"Oh Ray, I'm sorry for waking you up. You can sleep in my lap again." She said with guilt.
"It's fine..oh and are these your subordinates?" He points at all three of them calmly as Persephone was a bit shock he didn't back away when he immediately saw them.
"Ah yes, they are but besides that, do you want to sleep again?" She says patting her thigh, signalling him to lay on her lap again.
He blushes and looks away as he refuses Persephone's offer. He gets up and stretches him arms while Persephone also proceeded to get up as well.
"Well, I should probably get back home." He says looking at Persephone's way while Persephone face saddens as he says that.
"Aw..I wanted to spend more time with you Ray but I understand, it's probably uncomfortable sleeping in the forest." She says trying to find the right words to eventually say goodbye.
"Hey, I didn't say I was going alone. Let's go together Persephone." He lends a hand for Persephone to grab onto as Persephone thinks about her subordinates.
"But..what about my subordinates?" She says questioning him.
He rolls his eyes seemingly annoyed at her comment.
"They can sleep in another room." He replied Persephone's question with a bit of irritation hidden in his voice.
Persephone nods and then looks at Ray in shock as Ray looks at her confused.
"Oh my...Ray, does that mean we'll be sleeping in the same room? how bold of you." She said teasingly while Ray flushes bright red.
"What the hell, No! we'll both be in separate rooms! I'm not sleeping in the same room with you!" He replies back in loud anger resulting in waking up Persephone's subordinates.
She laughs lightly and jokingly grins at him while he kept on fighting her comments. Her subordinates rubs their eyes and if they weren't tired, they would have gotten up from shock and probably would be in defense mode but they were too tired to even be scared of Ray waking up. After Persephone stops laughing she finally fully wakes the others up gently as they sigh in tiredness.
"Okay Ray everyone is up, where do we go?" She says.
Ray points at a direction while Persephone starts preparing to walk.
"Woah, woah! I'm not going to be walking. You too Persephone your are not going to be walking as well."
"But how do I— woah!" She did not get to finish her sentence as Ray picks her up in his arms. He carries her in a bridal-style while she holds on to his neck. She smiles in amusement as Ray does not look at her in the eyes.
Persephone's subordinates got caught off guard as they quickly got up and yelled at Ray for suddenly carrying their Master Persephone while she reassures them that it was fine. They glare in response to his sudden action while Ray sticks out a tongue mocking them.
"I know you two twins have teleportation abilities so you guys can teleport and take that wolf with you." He commented as the twins disgustingly look at Hayls weirdly. Hayls saw the judgemental look the twins gave him and rolls his eyes.
"Please guys?" Persephone says pleading with her eyes and words.
They all sigh, defeated as they could never refuse Persephone's words. She beams brightly at them as nods at Ray. Ray then jumps to which Persephone got immediately scared as the ground was so far from her feet and holds on to his neck tighter. He lands on a tree as looks at Persephone, worried.
"Persephone are you alright?" He said with concern on his voice.
She gives him a thumbs up while Ray currently not believing her response. She sees this and sweats.
"Okay maybe I'm a little bit afraid of heights." She admits while Ray holds her closer, he had never met anyone afraid of heights before.
"It's okay though, you can continue Ray but please hold me tight as I might fall." she said.
"I will never let you fall but just for safety measures, hold on tight okay?" He responded as Persephone holds on her dear life.
He then continued to jump while Persephone puts her head on his neck with fear. He pats her back lightly and tries to calm her down which apparently worked as Persephone's breathing slows down.
"I don't think I should do this anymore. I don't want to scare you Persephone." He grew even more worried as Persephone looked pale white.
Stubbornly, Persephone still agrees to him doing this type of route and Ray kept on questioning why on earth she would do this to herself and even though Persephone was on the verge of dying, she manages to give an unexpected stupidly flirtatious reply.
"I want you to hold me Ray" She says winking at him jokingly then proceeds to get sick again.
He covers his mouth and looks away in embarrassment. He tells her non-offensively to shut up as she continues to flirt with him on the way back to his house. During that trip, all he does is blush every compliment or wink he gets but he stays silent for the most part as to not say anything weird.
"Ray... respond, I love to hear your voice." She says getting tired suddenly out of all places, the spot she had to get tired at was in Ray's arms.
She lays on his neck and dozes off to sleep while Ray tries to make the ride more comfortable to not wake her up. When Persephone wasn't sleeping yet, she didn't think of the possibility that Ray could be from.."That kingdom" and carelessly let him carry her to his abode. After a few minutes, he got there and although he knew Persephone would wait for her subordinates, he didn't listen and just went inside together with Persephone. He goes inside his own room and people from the castle stares in disbelief and confusion as they see The "Ray" carrying a girl they didn't even know existed up until this point.
In the room, he sighs in relief as his inferiors were not in his room messing around the place. He places Persephone on his bed but was way too embarrassed to sleep with her so he concluded to stay on the floor. He looks at her one more time before kissing her forehead. Surprised by his actions, he reminded himself that he only just met her and there is no way one could fall for another so easily. He then laid down and slept while rethinking his actions.

Persephone moves around the bed as she got confused on why sheets were placed on top of her as she didn't remember going somewhere. She then got up quickly and looks around the room filled with fear. She looks down and sighs with relief as she sees Ray laying down, underneath his own bed. She laughs at his actions and he stayed down to respect her privacy which she was grateful for. Though besides that, she did not feel tired anymore and hops out of the gigantic bed quietly. She uses her telekinesis ability to carry Ray on his bed without disturbing his slumber on the process. Persephone then realizes that her subordinates were not in the same location as her because when she went out to a specific door, the door she opened revealed a balcony to which she sees the amazing kingdom and their creations. She knows she was staying at a castle as it was pretty obvious with the fancy decorations and the endless hallways plus the amount of rooms she has seen. She thinks of finding her subordinates but rethinks it as when she saw the building that was called an apartment in her world with more rooms than she could ever imagine. She keeps finally opens a door that led to an even more confusing hallway as she tries to find a window that could possibly help her. Persephone had never been in a castle so she explores every single room apart from the rooms that people were sleeping in. From her walk to room to room, she sees a ball room which had people in it, see found it odd as their appearance did not resemble a noble but instead a fighter or magic user with armor on. From every direction she looks at, all she could ever see was only women and men crowded, some talking to each other while some were alone. She remained in her position as the place filled her with interest. From behind, she hears people talking and tries to get away from their view but failed as they notice her and approached her.
"Ma'am? The training room is that way." One politely said to Persephone.
"Excuse me what? training room..? but, isn't this a ball room that's supposed to be used for dancing?" She said now confused at the castle's way of an apparent "Training room."
"Well Ma'am, the current training room was destroyed by Master Ray again and now was getting renovated. We decided to use this room for fighting but they kicked out Master Ray because we fear he might destroy it again." A person explains the mess they were in.
"Wait Ray? the dude with the long gold hair and red eyes?" She says wanting an answer.
They confirm her question as Persephone tries not to laugh because she suddenly imagined Ray fighting a person then destroying the arena immediately. She bows and thanks them while also heading to the arena, not to fight— but to observe though she felt like someone was going to challenge her later on.
The arena was loud as men and women grunt weirdly whenever one crashes onto another. She sees skills that she had never seen before and decided to memorize those unique skills. Although powerful attacks were getting thrown at the opposing enemy, the ball room did not get destroyed as a person controls a barrier to prevent immediate destruction while another helps the lead. Whenever someone touches the barrier as Persephone had seen someone have physical interaction with it, it electrifies from the outside making it hard for a normal person to enter. Persephone touches the barrier and felt it's full control but she realizes that hers was technically more stronger because they used less magical energy.

"Thanks Tasia and..an Artistic color..? gee, no wonder why it was so powerful..."
She was very impressed with this Kingdom's ability and wanted to observe more of the people powers as they were very helpful for her in learning new skills. The arena was filled with a bunch of strong people but one specifically kept on winning and it caught her attention. The individual would use all their might but this girl was overpowered in strength and wipes out their attack following with destroying the person as well. The crowd started to make bets on for whoever defeats the women and the person would get this amount of cash or this amount of money. Persephone then finally hears the most money in the bet as people agree with the choice. Desperate people started to fight the girl but resulted in their humiliating defeat, she felt bad for the ones who were just trying to have their moment but ended up crying instead. As the fight progresses, the amount of challengers also started to decrease as people believed that they would never be able to defeat the powerful woman.
"Geez...she's strong." Persephone was deciding whether to feel impressed, or scared. Maybe both.
Mostly, the people who challenged the female were not given a choice as someone directs and commands random people to either face the girl or quote on quote, face consequences. Persephone was feeling very irritated at the narcissistic person because why on earth would they want people to surrender themselves to a person they know they won't defeat against. She resisted the urge to go in the arena, punch the girl and then punch the director next though luckily, she held back. As the director continues to forcedly control people, the amount of challengers gradually dies down. Before, there were over at least five hundred of them but now..it died down to twenty. Since the fight ended so quickly, it wasn't very surprising when the people in this arena was lowered in a fast rate.
the third to last person who is still able to stand in the arena gets knocked down instantly as Persephone sighs once again. The director then points not to Persephone, but to the person next to her as she pities them because they cried in fear. The person stands up while they try to escape but unfortunately, guards had a hold of him and started to bring him in the arena. That's when Persephone very slim string broke in half as she had enough.
"THAT IS ENOUGH. LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She angrily yells at the guards and grabbed the poor man who was crying heavily. The man knelt behind her as Persephone protects him from getting any more trauma. She knows she is in a lot of trouble so she sacrifices herself instead of the person behind her.
"Let me go instead of him. If I win, he does not have to fight against anyone he wishes to not fight." She offered herself while the man thanks her silently.
She walks up to the arena and before the director could even tell his servants to give entrance for Persephone because of the electrified barrier, she breaks the barrier Instantly without hesitation. The crowd including the director were left speechless as Persephone gets up the arena and creates her own barrier with much stronger forces. The director stands and wickedly grins as he finally watches something interesting for once.
The barrier creators tried to touch the barrier but left with a stinging sensation as they feel it have the same skill used by them but with greater power.
Persephone stares at the female ominously as the female does not show one bit of fear. Anger rushed through Persephone's veins as she does not think her next actions and uses her telekinetic ability. She chokes the girl with a light illuminating a blue-colored skill as the female now had the look of anxiety trying to get out of her technique. The female then fainted and only did Persephone lower her ability. She places the unconscious female softly on the ground and walks towards her feeling bad as she also was not willing with her actions. She remembers the prayer Laura did and replicates her actions, the woman was immediately healed internally as Persephone did not cause physical injury to her body. The woman stares at her with fear and backs away. Persephone gets up and glares at the director before finally pointing out his wrong doings.
"You do not get to control one's actions and not take responsibility for it. People fear those who are stronger than them yet you decide to forcefully make them face that fear without their consent. If you decide to do that again, I will not hesitate to wipe out every single man or woman you have that will hurt the weak. You will face the consequences if you do this again." She says before leaving the arena feeling satisfied with herself for leaving the director and his sick twisted allies wide-mouthed.
She returns to Ray who was still sleeping peacefully and she questions on how he did not hear the commotion that was coming from the arena. She takes his place on the floor and sleeps again feeling pleased with herself.
