The duo finished eating. "Jeremy, you over fed me!" Hailey said and Jeremy laughed.
"You did so to me too!" He replied.
"Really?"
"Yep!" He nodded.
"Whatever!!" She answered. The duo sat closer to the lake under the shade of a tree. The lake was very attractive.
"The lake's beautiful!" Hailey said with a smile looking at him. Jeremy laid down on the grass with his palms under his head. He stared at the sunny sky. Hailey laid next to him.
"You like the blue sky?" She asked.
"Not that I like it, I'm just admiring it. It's really colourful!" He admitted.
"Yeah. Nature's really colourful!" She said. They laid down looking at the sky quietly. Hailey took a deep breathe.
"Jeremy, do you enjoy the place?" She asked.
"Yes I do. It's far better than the zoo!" He said with a laughter. Hailey gave him a little punch on the shoulder.
"But the zoo was quite fun you know, you're just the boring fellow!" She stated.
"Really? You think so?"
"Yeah!" She answered with a nod. Jeremy gave a smirk.
"If I'm the boring one, then what does that make you?"
"The fun and interesting one!!" She answered with a smile.
"Wow! I can't believe you just called me boring!" He got up and Hailey followed suit. He took a deep breathe.
"Don't you think we should start heading home?" Hailey let out a sigh.
"Okay Jeremy. Let's go!" Jeremy stood up. He gave Hailey a hand. She placed her hand in his and he lifted her up. They packed up everything and we're ready to leave. They held each other's hand as they walked down to the car. Jeremy packed everything into the car.
"Get in Hailey! Let's go!" He said to her and they both entered the car and drove off. Jeremy drove at a high speed. He had other things to do so he was in a haste to get home. He overtook cars with speed.
"Jeremy be careful!" She said to him.
"Stop being scared Hailey! I'm careful." He said trying to calm her agitated mind.
"Please be careful!" She said to him and he chuckled.
"Hailey, I'm sorry if my driving scares you but I got things to do at home that's why I need to get there in a hurry!" He explained. Hailey let out a sigh. He continued the drive.
He drove with so much speed. Jeremy held the brake with an adrenaline rush when he met a traffic jam. He almost hit the car in front of them. Hailey would have bumpedher head but she didn't thanks to car's seat belt.
"I told you to be careful!" She exclaimed.
Jeremy flashed a smile. Damn! He was trying to be fast but now he was caught up in a traffic jam.
"F**k!" He cursed out loudly.
"Jeremy calm down, we'll get there before you know it! Just be patient!" Hailey said to him. The flow got eased and they continued their journey home. But this time, Jeremy reduced his speed. Five minutes later, they got home. Jeremy parked the car and the two got down. The duo entered the house holding each other's hand.
