Null's prediction had come true, about a week after completing everyone suits and weapons to the best of his abilities Unit 2317 came to see him. Unit 2317 was the Valtaui sent to guard him. He was a little bit different to the other Valtaui in that he had spent a significant amount of time around humanoid races so he took the form of a little 60cm humanoid. This led to Null giving him the nickname of Littleman.
"Hi, Littleman how can I help you today?"
Littleman was also straight to the point. "The council has assigned us a mission, it might require your unique ability to nullify fields"
"what in it for me? I'm imprisoned here" Null didn't want to sell his services for free even if he would benefit from gaining EP.
"TMA agent tells me you have requested some Zallium for your suits. I will supply you with standard defensive shielding for your suits and the council will give you some Zallium for your service."
Null didn't see the need to haggle further and accepted the mission. He doubted if he could have rejected the mission anyway but at least this way it appeared to be his choice.
Null had a meeting with the other 3 humans and asked if they wanted to join him on the mission and they all accepted immediately. They each had different motivations for coming but it didn't matter. Jania wanted to try out her new suits. Chris wanted to explore new planets and Lisa wanted to see if she could expand her scientific knowledge.
Null handed out all the equipment he had built for them.
Jania had tried many weapons out in the VR pod but the one she found that suited her best was a single sickle kusarigama. Her weapon was a 1-handed sickle attached to a rope and weight. Null had modernised the materials in the design so that the rope was made from nanotubes and the Sickle was made from Titanium-3-Gold alloy coated in a boron nitrite crystal making it one of the hardest and strongest melee weapons that humans could build. Null had imbued the blade to vibrate at ultrasonic speed so that it was as sharp as possible.
The weight at the end of the weapon was made from a tungsten osmium alloy giving it a great weight for its size. The 5cm in diameter ball at the end of the rope came in just under 7kg. he had initially imbued it to be heavier but the results always caused a backlash to the user of the weapon.
Null handed Jania her weapon before going back and getting the suit.
Suit Profile (Jania)
Power generator: Fusion
Power Storage: Dwarven power crystal
Armour configuration: Mass reduction Armor(inbued)
Passive Spells: Energy Shielding, Constant Gravity (provide by littleman)
Active Spells:
Jania combat style relied on speed and the greater awareness she gained from having an AI-powered implant wired into her head. Until Null had created more active spells the power generator and storage were only supporting the shielding.
Next to receive his equipment was Chris. Most of his training had focused on strategy and logistics with only the most basic combat training. He had limited hand to hand combat training and had focused mainly on marksmanship. This made it difficult for Chris to find a close quarter combat weapon that suited him. In the end, he settled for a stun baton and a suit that focused on defence.
Suit Profile (Chris)
Power generator: Fusion
Power Storage: Dwarven power crystal
Armour configuration: Defensive (imbued to be extra resilient to damage)
Passive Spells: Energy Shielding, Constant Gravity
Active Spells: None
Chris honestly wasn't that worried about the suit or the stun baton, but he was excited to try out the new laser rifle. The gun had limited recoil and whose trajectory was unaffected by gravity which made it a marksmen dream. He had planned that if they ever got into real battle he would hook his rifle up to his suit and play the role of support by using suppression fire. This all relies on the rifle living up to Null claims.
It was Lisa turn to receive her suit. She had no interest in combat, the only reason she engaged in fieldwork is that it could inform and improve her research. She had made a myriad of discoveries over the last few months that if she could present just a fraction of them to the scientific community on Earth. She would be remembered as the mother of a new era in science.
She saw her role as more of a supporting character. She would ensure the 3 children had the supplies they need and she could use her scientific knowledge to ensure they also had the information they needed on hand. Information could win or lose a battle before it started.
She had enquired with Null about creating some form of healing spell or suit. He had explained that he had an affinity for life or healing abilities. He had a couple of idea's but they involved techniques that would cause more problems than they fixed. She would have to wait until they could convince Vark to share his knowledge.
When discussing her suit with Null and Infy she had many ideas but most of them had to be delayed until the next iteration.
Null handed over her suit.
Suit Profile (Lisa)
Power generator: Antimatter
Power Storage: Superconductor capacitors
Armour configuration: Power
Passive Spells: Energy Shielding, Constant Gravity
Active Spells: none
She choose to use all human technology compatible modules as she had some understanding of them and they could be interfaced with scientific and surveillance drones she requested Null to build for her.
The last person to put on their suit was Null. He had chosen to build armour that made him physically stronger.

Power generator: Antimatter
Power Storage: Dwarven power crystal
Armour configuration: Power Armor (imbued to be harder)
Passive Spells: Energy Shielding, Constant Gravity
Active Spells:
Now that they each had their equipment they decided it was time to head off for their party very first mission.
