Alex is cooking his favorite dishes from the countryside where he grew up before being found by the Fernandez Family.
Although he cooked one dish - a corn which is done with coconut milk (or Ginataang Mais from Philippines), it is enough food as a snack for him. However, there is a chopped meat of human rotten brain mixed up in the dish.
He put the pot on the table and scooped up inside the pot using a ladle. The dish is still hot and its fragrance surrounded the dining room.
However, if a human smelt her dish, they will make their stomach churned because of rotten smell coming out of the pot.
He scooped up the chopped rotten brain and chewed it delightedly.
"Ah~ Zombie Brain is so delicious~!" he praised himself for being such a good cook. See? He's a unique kind of zombie who eats zombie brain. However, he preferred those higher level of Zombie.
He closed his eyes and started wondering if he should hunt for Zombie First Class or Zombie Second Class?
Alex doesn't need zombie crystals or human crystals just to level up himself. He just need any type of life energy in the environment and his body can automatically convert it into mystical energy.
Mystical energy is the most powerful energy right now.
Also, Zombie Brains or Human Brains are just enough to satiate his hunger. Nothing more and nothing less.
As long as the Zombie Brain is not fully rotten, it can be used as his ingredients for making his favorite dishes.
Although a crystal is the energy storage both for zombies and humans, brain is the container of such crystal. It is kind of meat which is bathed with energy.
So, Alex subconsciously likes brain more than the crystals. Meat is the most delicious!
Isn't it so yummy?
Now, Alex is wondering if what stage of zombie he must hunt the next time he goes out. Zombie Rats are out of question since they don't have zombie crystals yet inside their brain.
Zombies have their own hierarchy according to their stages like an inverted pyramid and uses the military rank hierarchy.
The lowest zombies are called Zombie Rats. They are not literally rats but because they are normal zombies who doesn't have abilities at all. They just make up the numbers for zombie tides whenever the Zombie General attacked a city or town. They can eat human brains either awakened or not.
Next is the Zombie Neophites who just awakened their abilities. They can awakened one ability from four elements like fire, water, wind and wood. Because of their nature as undead, they cannot control two or more four elements. Like Zombie Rats, they can human brains from either awakened humans or not.
Then, Zombie Soldiers. Zombie Soldiers have five levels from Level 1 to 5. The lowest level is the Level 1 Zombie Soldier to highest level, the Level 5 Zombie Soldier. A zombie must eat brain from awakened human.
A level 1 Zombie Soldier or First Class Zombie Soldier must eat one hundred Level 1 and Level 2 awakened human crystals. Any type of awakened attributes is fine, as long as they reached one hundred crystals.
A level 2 Zombie Soldier or Second Class Zombie Soldier must eat fifty Level 1 awakened human crystals and twenty Level 2 awakened human crystals.
A level 3 Zombie Soldier or Third Class Zombie Soldier must eat forty Level 1 awakened human crystals and thirty Level 2 awakened human crystals.
A level 4 Zombie Soldier or Fourth Class Zombie Soldier must eat thirty Level 1 awakened human crystals and forty Level 2 awakened human crystals.
A level 5 Zombie Soldier or Fifth Class Zombie Soldier must eat twenty Level 1 awakened human crystals and fifty Level 2 awakened human crystals.
However. these type of eating awakened human crystals are the longest process for Zombie Evolution. They must count from beginning in every level if they want to level up again.
Also, they cannot do energy cultivation since their zombie crystals are entirely different from human crystals.
A zombie can stored a void energy from hell since they are lurking in the human world which has highest life energy but the only way to get those energy is to extract human crystals.
If a zombie soldier cannot immediately evolved and be stuck in its level, they will slowly return to being a Zombie Rats.
A human crystal has the ability to convert elemental energy into void energy from hell when the zombie cultivates. The higher the level of human crystals (which is the level of awakened humans), the higher the percentage of energy stored inside.
Fortunately, an awakened human can also get energy attributes from the zombie crystals to increase their level.
There's a transition stage - Half- Step Zombie Corporal must eat fifty Level 2 awakened human brains.
After that is the Zombie Corporal. In this stage, a Zombie Corporal must eat thirty Level 2 human crystals every day. Otherwise, they will return to being Fifth Class Zombie Soldier if they cannot maintain such daily eating capacity, their void energy will slowly dissipate.
When they reached Zombie Sergeant, they can already control their void energy from dissipating but they still need to eat, at least, one hundred Level 2 human crystals for a week. Otherwise, their level will decrease.

He leisurely ate while scrolling on his phone. Although the internet is no longer working, his phone contained many downloaded novels and movies. So, he isn't bored staying at home without venturing outside. Anyway, zombies will not affect him.
He continued reading his favorite novel for three hours until a loud noise sounded from the outside of his mansion.
He picked up his coat and wore it. He peeked out of his door and looked outside. His lips twitched when he feels the vibrations of the explosions from the outside.
"Are they trying to destroy my territory?" he mumbled and his face turned gloomy. He doesn't care about those Zombie Rats outside since they cannot harm him.
He frowned and decided to go on to the gate. In there, he saw a military jeep. It drove towards his direction.
He pouted, "What the heck are they doing? And why are they coming here?"
