Back to the underworld, Hades said goodbye to Zeus and let the God king go to the lower levels of the underworld as that was the reason he even came to here. After Zeus had left Hades couldn't help but think of why Zeus had lost his arms, when they were talking earlier it seemed as though his arms were perfectly fine but Hades was aware that they were nothing more than constructs that were overlaid with an illusion. The fact that Zeus was able to hold a glass without breaking it is a testament to his control over lightning.
"well whatever it doesn't, matter. If it's a civil war I'll stay neutral"
He voiced as he walked on the dimly lit corridor of his castle, the souls that lit up his castle were like a river stream rather than individual light bulbs, the souls from the lowered levels, like level two, have to pass through his castle before they ascend to other level and the same is true for souls that had recently died. Level one is where the good people go and level two is where the normal people with a balance evil/ good ratio and level three and four is where criminals and evil people go, however once a soul has endured the punishment they can slowly ascend level until they arrive at level 2 and then get reincarnated, no soul from level 3 and 4 can enter level 1, it is because of this descent and ascent that keeps Hades' castle dimly lit, of course there are areas where it's well lit but the castle overall has dim lighting.
As Hades walked The long corridor of his castle he couldn't help but hear the melodic and beautiful laughter of his wife, quite possibly laughing at something Hestia has said. His eldest sister hasn't left his home ever since she came with Aphrodite, while he does appreciate the visit it is getting annoying, although Persephone seems to be enjoying the company so at very least he'll have to stomach it until she gets sick of Hestia. He was able to quickly make it to the room the two were in and entering he found Hestia with her hair on the upper part of her lip acting as a fake moustache
" I AM ZEUS, KING OF OLYMPUS THE GREAT GOD KING, OH LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL STALLION, I'M GOING TO HAVE SEX WITH IT"
Persephone laughed at the accurate impression of Zeus, although Hestia's voice was a bit too high pitched to sound anywhere near the same as Zeus that was irrelevant. Seeing the scene Hades couldn't help but crack as smile, unfortunately he wasn't that skilled at telling jokes as such seeing such a smile on Persephone's face was enough to convince him to let Hestia stay longer. Never mind the fact that Hestia was making fun of her father.
"I AM HADES–"
"Alright that's enough"
He interrupted, now he wasn't about to let himself be the butt of the joke. His interruption caused Hestia to deflate and sit down with a pout on her face.
"is your talk with Father over?"
His wife asked while wiping a small tear from her eyes and leaned forward to grab a glass filled with water rather than wine.
"Yeah it's over, though you might have to stay here a bit longer because it seems things are gonna get dangerous in Olympus"
"Why? What's happening?"
"it's the whole traitor thing, and from what I understand a civil war might be on the rise"
He stated and took a seat right beside his wife, Hestia who heard his words placed her hand on her chin and closed her eyes as she began to contemplate something.
"a civil war? But why?"
"I don't know the reason myself but apparently Hera, Themis, Athena, Ares and Hephaestus are plotting something against Olympus, Zeus has already captured Hera and Themis, hopefully this will be resolved soon"
He said as he snaked his arm around her waist and pulling her close, he turned his gaze towards Hestia who in turn opened her eyes and spoke.
"well if that's the situation, then why don't I stay here for longer then? After all Olympus is going to be rowdy"
Family feuds were quite common, especially among her family, trying to stop them from fighting was a fools errand, her jobs only ever begins once the fighting has stopped, plus she didn't like imposing her pacifist beliefs on everyone so she thought it would be best to let them fight out and then bring the family back together again once that's over, to Hestia this was nothing more than a typical family dispute that can be resolved without issue.
Hearing Her words Hades grimaced finding it hard to agree with her staying in his home however at the same time, it would be very unbrotherly of him to let her go back to Olympus while there are people fighting, of course she would be fine but that didn't mean exposing his beloved sister to such violence even though she was already familiar with it.
"What do you think?"
He turned to his wife, if she had no problems with it then he'd have to accept it.
"I think it's fine, we have plenty of room"
With a sigh, Hades had to accept Hestia as the guest, and the Goddess grinned from ear to ear, a grin that seemed to irk Hades as he came to the conclusion that she'll probably won't allow them to have free time together as long as she's staying with them.
...….
[A DAY LATER]
Athena's eyes fluttered open and she was met with ungamiliar sight, a bed side lamp on the side of her bed, she immediately pulled her body up and quickly looks around and find that nothing within this room belongs to her, there's a sword on the wall but none of her other weapons, she immediately stood on her feet, incidentally her body was incredibly responsive, much more refreshed she could no longer feel the effects of the river and this meant she was in her best shape.
From outside she heard birds singing and the rustling of trees, she took note that there were no birds in Olympus nor were there any trees, this in turn lead her to believe that she wasn't in Olympus. Summoning her spear she carefully thread to the door making sure there were not traps, one can never be too careful, the likely scenario is that she was probably captured and sent somewhere by her father, it's possible he learned of their ploy while she was asleep yesterday and quickly captured all those involved and this is Most likely the prison she is being held in.
Once she had made it to the door, she pressed her ear against it and listened in on what may be happening outside, the first thing she took note of was the sound of footsteps, someone was coming her way, she quickly moved out of the way and waited for whoever to enter.
She heard a faint humming that accompanied the foot steps, the humming was quite high Pitched so she figured it must have been a woman. It took a few seconds for the person to arrive st the door before knocking twice.
"Lady Athena, are you awake?"
The voice was that of a young girl and by her question it seemed like Athena wasn't in a prison of sorts not only that but why would there be children near the place she was being held, or perhaps it was a trick to have her lower her guard.
"hmm I guess she's still asleep, should I enter? Lady Artemis is gonna be mad if I don't confirm and she can tell when I'm lying"
The girl sounded from the other side of the door contemplating whether or not to enter, the mention of Artemis shocked Athena for a bit and her mind raced to think of an explanation.
'could she be reason I woke up in this place?'
"No girl, I'm awake"
Her spear disappeared as she answered and open the door quite slowly, she didn't let her guard down just yet once the door was fully opened she was met with a young girl with long black hair and blue eyes, she looked to be no older than 12 years old.
"Ah Lady Athena, good morning. I was told by Lady Artemis to check if you're awake and if you are, I am to guide you to her"
The child explained with an energetic smile and a bit of enthusiasm, Athena's suspicions grew, she felt that everything about her situation was suspicious and she couldn't really let her guard down but Artemis might be able to explain to her the situation and the child herself seemed innocent enough.
"alright child lead the way"
With that the girl turned on her heels and beckoned the Goddess to follow her. On the way Athena was able to get a good view of the place it seems to be a forest judging by the trees and the houses were made in such away that they do not impede the trees in growth and there were even houses made on the trees themselves and surprisingly enough she hardly saw anyone in the houses that was until she got out the forested area and entered into an open space
Her eyes were met with wide variety of things, first it was the women, from the just a glance she could tell there were no men, the open space was filled with a variety of things, there was an obstacle course that extended into the forest, a training stage where multiple woman were sparring with each other with other women Standing on the side-lines cheering them on, there was also a gym area where other women were lifting up weights of iron and a few doing exercise.
Her eyes wondered around before settling on a building that looked to have some importance and there she spotted Artemis, lazily resting on wide chair and getting serviced by 3 other women. One was feeding her, another was rubbing her feet and the other was using a rather huge leaf to cover her from the sun. The young girl lead her toward Artemis, surprised as she was Athena kept her composure and waited to ask questions from Artemis.
"Sister, so you were awake, good morning"
Once Athena had made it close to her, Artemis spoke in a surprising jovial tone, not only that but She has never once referred to Athena as sister, Artemis was the serious type who hardly ever spoke unless necessary so suddenly hearing such a happiness in her voice caused Athena open her eyes wide in shock.
"Artemis…. What is this place?"
She gestured with her hand as she asked, more than anything Sue wished how she got here. Was she so out of it that she couldn't feel someone taking her away from Olympus.
"Thank you little Diana now run along"
The young girl grumbled on about how she isn't little but she heeded Artemis' words and left. Athena was quite taken aback by this it was definitely our of character for Artemis to be this friendly.
"To answer your question sister, this place is paradise, a lad hidden from the eyes of our father and Ares or any God for that matter a place where both you and me can be at peace without any stress brought forth by Zeus or Ares or Poseidon or anyone, I call it Amazon"
