They walked along the dark streets of Colinia chattering about all sorts of topics and giggling all the way to Barnia. When they reached their home town, the sun was already rising in the East sky. The cottage of Barnia could be seen in the distance. "Did you hear about the murder that happened there?" Emma asked. "uhm yes" Kett replied, a feeling of fear overwhelming her. "Innocent boy, he was. How dare someone try to kill such a nice human. I don't know what was on their mind." Emma complained. "Me neither." Kett couldn't stop her mouth. Emma threw a suspicious look at her, making her insides burn. "Where are we heading to?" She questioned taking her eyes away from Emma's, in order to break the awkward pause. "Let's go to my place. There will be no one other than us. My family went out to somewhere while I came looking for you." Said Emma. "Oh alright. That would be great then." The sun had already risen when they reached Emma's house. As Emma inserted the key into the big keyhole in the front door Kett's eyes were wondering around in the flower bed which was in the garden, filled with magnificent red roses. The warmth of the house welcomed her body which was tired by all sorts of things which happened to her. Getting this type of a comfort felt almost impossible to her sometime ago. They were both tired as they entered the house that they jumped on to the comfortable beds and went to sleep without any meal or even a change of clothes. Kett was fast asleep in the guest room while Emma was in the depths of her dreams in the room next to it. The comfort of the soft bed was cuddling with her. It felt so great to get some comfort at last.
She finally decided to open her eyes after a long and comfortable sleep. The first thing her eyes could see was her darling friend Emma looking at her, smiling. She had already changed into some new clothes and the drops of water which had wetted the shoulders of her T-shirt proved that she had taken a bath too. "Good afternoon little miss. I was watching you for hours." She said, letting out her angelic smile. "You could have just waken me up." Kett mumbled, yawning. "Couldn't make up mind to do so when you little kiddo was having such a peaceful sleep." Kett stretched herself up and wrapped her arms around Emma to give her a little morning hug. "Good morning Emma" She said resting her head on Emma's shoulder sleepily. "Yeah yeah. It was a very good morning hours ago." Emma said with a little laugh. "Is it that late?" Kett asked turning to look at the clock on the wall. It was a fancy looking clock with each number decorated with a cute drawing and the hands decorated with pink rose flowers. The time was two in the evening. "What the-? I could have just slept for two more hours and wake up straight for tea." Kett said still half asleep. "Come on get up now." Emma pulled Kett out of the bed making her fall on to the floor. "Oh please. Just a few more minutes." Kett leaned her head against on of the legs of the bed and closed her eyes. She suddenly woke up and completely came out of her sleep due to her face getting wet by a sudden flash of water. She wiped her face and opened her eyes to see a helplessly laughing Emma. "What the hell you think you were doing?" Kett yelled. "You could have seen your face." Emma said still breathlessly laughing. "Whatever. I'm gonna have a bath." Kett got up and moved to the bathroom, looking annoyed.
She went under the shower and removed her clothes. The cold water sent shivers along her back as she opened the shower. She was halfway through her shower when she saw something which made her jump out of her skin.
