Chapter 27 - Confrontation

We all hit a dead end, and I sat in my room, irritated that I did not know how to find this mystery. I follow to sleep for some hours and put an alarm. I tug myself into bed.

"What Aria is dead." The Dean got up from the chair in shock, and I saw the pace in frustration. I have never seen Dean lose composure so quickly. "Get the witches and warlock immediately." Dean barked.

"Why do you want to summon them." His assistant asks little confused at the reaction of the dean. "Get Aria's dead body here. And don't ask too many questions." He growled, and the assistant dashed out of the room. I felt I saw the scene, and I saw my body light hue like a ghost wandering in Dean's room. The things moved past my hand as I tried to touch them. I am dead again.

The assistant brought my body, and it looked like blood dripped down my neck. I knew I saw things from my past life after I died from Colton's hand. "Place on the couch," Dean instructed, and the assistant did, and all the witches' heads and Warlock coven came to the office.

"Wait, the Rare is dead." A woman looked. I knew she was the older witch; Her name was Lilac. "That means distract to the earth cannot be stopped." The old warlock just looked the same age as Dean. "Robin, we need to do something and Help This Rare to give back, or else the earth will be in destruction," Dean said.

"We need to turn back the time," Lilac spoke, and Dean and Robin's gaze eyes widened and the solution. "You know that needs some to give the life in exchange." I felt terror, so the Dean was about me reincarnating. "I am well aware of the magic exchange, and I will do that." The old witch said with a smile. Dean, Mark, and Robin looked at Lilac in surprise, nodded at her agreement, and didn't argue.

After that, they took my body to the dark basement, and I saw myself also floating next to my body and laying the body in the center of the magic circle. I see all the witches dressed in the black cape and their faces hidden, and Dean and Robin look at the scene. I see Lilac standing next to my body and wearing a white dress, and her hold wrinkled hands have a Dagger in her hand, and she motions her hand to all the witches standing outside the circle, and slowly the witches chant in unison the same spell, and I could feel the warm magic come to life.

I felt terror and the intense magic, and I could see Even Dean, Mark, and Robin could feel the pressure of magic. Lilac looked askance as the light glowed sharper and put them in her chest, and I gasped in shock, The light engulfed Lilac's body, and I could see her soul destroyed alone. Not long after the magic, I saw my body disappear.

Beep, Beep, Beep.

I woke up in a sweat, and I looked at the Alarm. I shut it and gasped at what I saw. Could it be a dream or the truth of my life of being reincarnated back? I somehow pull myself after deep breaths, take jogging clothes, put them on, and go for a run. The dream has messed up my head.

I just ran endlessly and felt like I was running from the dream or reality; I Don't know. I wish I had some close to discussing things like this. I feel like sharing this with Maggie, yet I felt scared of sharing this stuff with others after what I did back in my previous life, making the mistake of trusting Eva, which cost me everything.

I huff as I come to hold and knees in my hand and break a sweat so much. I didn't know how long I ran and sat on the empty bench. Only a few people were jogging and looking at the sky in the early morning. I shut my eyes, but my eyes opened when I heard heavy footsteps, and it was not just one but three. It's Hudson, Xavier, and Colton in their jogging outfits.

"Maggie must sit sleeping," I muttered, and Colon sighed.

"Yes, but what is up with you? Even you don't Jog what changed today," Hudson asked. Well, that is true. I don't like to get up early and run; I usually drink coffee a breakfast, read the news, and then do combat training.

"Well, I had something going on in my mind," I muttered.

"What is that you are burdening yourself with," Xavier said with a worried frown. I stop myself from saying things further. I sighed. "Just stress that all it will pass," I said, diverting the topic from me.

"Are you worried about.." Colton paused and skated his gaze off me. I felt red at the mention of the sex topic.

"What the hell is going on between you two," Hudson growled in anger. Hudson glares, and Colton glare at the heads that turn our way. "I don't want to ruin my morning, so I should leave." I felt the tension coming back in waves, and I wanted to speak up about this, but I did not know how to start the conversation when I saw the jealous aura among them, making me feel.

"Wait, why don't we go to some quiet place and discuss this out, because the more we prolong it won't do good," Colton said, and I gulped and nodded my head at his explanation. Hudson and Xavier looked a little confused, but agreed we would speak somewhere more private.

We finally stepped into my apartment, and I went behind the kitchen to make something quickly. I was trying to get away from speaking my mind out of emotion, and I never thought I would feel this way. I believed in Academy I would keep my distance from Hudson, who never looked at me and one side loved, so I decided I won't fall for him again and don't the same mistake.

I feared Colton, who killed me, but seeing how he worked with full responsibility and took care of his younger brother after they lost their parents, I see Colton in a different light than he was in his previous life. I kept thinking, brought the egg, and Colton walked towards me and saw me scrubbing the pans.

He held my hand to stop. "Come on, Aria, we need to talk." He muttered. "Colton, I am not sure of feelings," I said, and he looked at me in my eyes. "Neither do I, Aria, but why don't we speak exactly how we feel? There is so much tension going on, and if there is any misunderstanding, our team will fall apart, and you know it's risky to do that."

I sit in front of them and see Colton locked with me; their eyes twitch with irritation. I broke from his Grip, and I sighed. "The thing is, I broke my code." Xavier's eyes looked at me. "I… Hmm," I felt scared. "She slept with me," Colton said, and I glared at Colton, who said those with no guilt. Hudson and Xavier's eyes flash at slits at Colton. "So you have feelings for him then," Xavier asked in frustration.

"No…. I am not sure what I feel." I say.

"Why don't you guys say your thoughts on Aria? Because I don't want this team to get fucked up." Colton said. I see Hudson and Xavier sigh aloud.

"Don't know; it's confusing," Hudson said, and Xavier nodded.

"Well, I want to say that I am attracted to the three of you," I said. Their eyes gazed at me with heat, and I suppressed my blush. "I want to express my feelings because I don't want a misunderstanding, and I know you think of me as.." Colton held my hand to stop me from ultimately saying whore myself.

"Don't say it," Colton growled, and I nodded.

"I am sorry, but I never felt this way. I feel guilty…." I felt overwhelmed.

"Relax, Aria… why are you sorry for what you feel? I am happy you came forward to speak your thought." Hudson said. I looked at him in a bit of surprise; I didn't know what to say, but he seemed calm when he spoke, and I looked at Xavier, who held no emotion. Colton held my hand in his.

"Xavier," I called out, and he looked at me.

"Aria, I think this talk helps me to understand how you feel…." He said with a smile, and I sighed.
