Since the noble kid was chasing me. I went to the mountain top at least to hide right there. However, something under our circumstances occurred.
Not only was I being chased but also the wolves that I have been encountered before were trying to eat us alive.
I helped the noble kid to climb over the tree to at least spare his life, however, in exchange for sparing his life. He still betrayed me by pushing me out of the tree branch.
"I mean… If you were going to get eaten by those wolves. I get my time to escape without getting noticed by them!"
"Wha—" I'm very surprised by this sudden action. After all that I've done to help him. He still pushed me to become a wolf's snack.
"Ahh!" I shouted hysterically to myself. I don't know how am I supposedly going to brace myself into this. I'm going to be eaten from the moment I touch the ground for sure.
I'm scared and all that I can only close my eyes as I wait for the wolves to start munching me. It was a short life indeed, I hope when I died, mother wouldn't look for me in here. They will have a happy life, I'm sure. She has my brother; they will surely be going to take care of each other.
Goodbye world. I hope in my next life I get reincarnated as a noble person.
As I was waiting for my death. Someone just suddenly catches me, I didn't really fall into the ground straight, thus, I was saved by someone.
"Huh?" when I opened my eyes, a black tuxedo guy was already holding me. This pale skin, with ocean-blue hair! And the gloves. It could be.
"Mr Butler!" I surprisedly shouted. "There's no need for such manner, Milady. I'm glad we came at the right time." he manly said while gazing directly at my eyes.
"I told you! I've heard her. I can never be wrong." right beside him, there is Oz who was smiling at me widely. "Oz! Uh, you guys know I'm in trouble?"
Wait, that's not it. How come these two aren't getting attacked by those ferocious wolves.
"Sort of! But I'm glad we came just in time!" Oz was sound happy.
"How about the wolves?"
Due to my curiosity, I have to take a little peek at the wolves who were supposed to be in the ground waiting for someone to munch up. Thus, I didn't expect that the wolves would just lay down and do nothing at all.
"Oh. Do you mean these wolves? They are so cute, right?"
"Cute?"
Oz is calling those man-eater beings cute?! What in the world are you even saying?
"Yeah!"
But those wolves, I can hear their cries somehow. Are they suddenly in pain? Why though, it's not these two are doing something to them. In fact, these wolves should be attacking us or perhaps running away. Hence, they are weird that instead of doing that, they chose to lay down here.
"Say, Krahn. Are you supposed to visit me? But I thought you're going to visit me in a week? I never thought you will visit me earlier than I expected." Oz was just saying anything that
he particularly wanted to be.
"Ah…" but hearing him like this, I bet he was really looking forward to me visiting him again.
"It turns out that there are things that were unexpectedly bound to happen," I spoke out of my mind.
He tilted his head in confusion.
"We should discuss this matter inside the mansion. Let's go." then the butler butted in, saying we should continue our conversation in the mansion. We're about to go when the noble kid interrupted.
"W-what about me? You guys can't be serious! Y-you're leaving me behind?!" he yelled at us. His voice was stirred in anger and begging.
"...—" I was about to ask them to help him somehow even though that noble kid betrayed, and pushed me for his own selfish sake however, Oz was kind of out of character when he replied something to the noble.
"Why don't you try pushing yourself too? Perhaps someone as brain dead will come and catch you." My eyes were pretty much widened. Oz's words were pretty scary. I wouldn't want to get in that kind of side of him.

He is absolutely terrifying when he's mad. I don't want to get in that side of him.
"About the kid, are you guys sure leaving him behind will be the best thing to do?" My conscience is bothering me too much.
"When he pushed you. Do you think he intends to save you by doing that? We're just returning the favour he did to you." Oz was so serious. He is scaring me a lot than before.
"So, you guys knew about it?"
"Of course. Even though I'm a mono-kouneli, I still know what's happening around me. Besides, he is not even my priority. Why would I save him? Leaving him there will teach him a lesson that he will take until the end of his life."
That's rather deep. I cannot argue with his anger, I also don't want to be a victim of his anger.
"But how about those wolves? How could those wolves be so weird all of the sudden?"
We're still walking back to the mansion but I can't stop questioning them about the things that just happened.
"Weird? What do you mean by weird?"
What? Why does he sound that those wolves are in their normal state?
"Those wolves are just like puppies! Didn't you see their cuteness?"
"...P-puppies? You mean wild puppies?!"
Hahaha. He just laughed like it was indeed normal. Right now, I can see all his weirdness leaking out of the blue.
