POTTER'S RESIDENCE.
At the course of reinforcement inside the house, all were around but by the look of it not all were to be in the field. Daniel however was wounded from his previous fight, and despite all the availability of means to render him instant healing he declined vehemently. Just a drop of William's blood would've cured him of all his restrain, but he detested it with passion, preferred the normal, natural order of healing. Well, still it wouldn't have worked even, because of the stuff up vervain filled in his system to resist vampire hypnosis, and even make his blood poisonous for their kind. However Abel was as well present, sick worried of his sister he was forced back from his journey but again, his presence had become even more worrying, a liability and even weakness. Cause the opponents might as well attempt to use him as a leverage in gaining against them. As such, all strategies were put on board, leaving just the Castles in the field while Daniel was to stay back because of his condition and also babysit his nephew.
"This is a bad idea," Alisa however protested to the role she was appointed.
"The last time you were out there against them you couldn't even use your magic, it was useless," Julian persisted.
"Well they hook me up with the container bracelet of a thing," she explained unpleasantly.
"That's the point, they might do the same this time."
"I'm not baby sitting Abel, I'm not," she stood her ground.
"Hey," William walked to and placed a palm on her cheek. "Please, I can't be out there and worrying about you at the same time. You're my responsibility, remember?"
She was quiet, and had totally surrendered within, almost like he compelled her but that wasn't it. She just had to averse with his style of address and gentle words. However she only rolled her eyes up to him and briefly smiled, then placed her palm against his still on her cheek.
"Just be careful out there," she said and brought down his hand from her face, then walked to Julian. "Hey, I never knew you before the pearl, but William told me you guys were like 5 and 6, always had each others back. I know now you're different, physically and mentally, but don't prove him wrong nor ruin what I think of you."
He turned and stared at William then back to Alisa and nodded just once.
"And again, save them both, Lucy, she deserves better," she finally moved back and let the two brothers walk on.
"She cares about you," Julian revealed just after they walked out.
William said nothing and kept moving.
"You noticed the way she was looking at you?"
William this time stopped and brashly came at Julian, but again stopped with just a little space separating them.
"Just shut the fuck up and let's go solve this problem, after all I created the whole mess from the beginning, isn't that right?"
This time Julian kept mute so William continued, "Well, it was my fault and I don't wanna get buried alive anymore, with sand forcing it's way into every hole in my face and fucking worms feasting on my cold skin."
Just as he concluded he was no more, but just the leaves around that reacted to the sudden whoosh of air. Nevertheless, Julian walked instead.
Alisa closing back the window took a deep sigh of distress and leaned against the wall beside.
"They're never working this out anytime soon," she admitted tirelessly.
"Hey," Abel walked to her. "So what's the plan? When the bad guys comes around are you gonna bring out your stick, or is it a broom and we'll sit on and fly out? Just like a jet pack?"
She saw that ridiculous and only sat back giving him a strange look with a clenched forehead.
"Where's it even? Or it's invisible and only appears when you have need for it?" Again he asked, and the words just came through so fast.
"How old are you?" She asked softly.
"What, why?"
"Never mind," she rouse up walking away, upstairs precisely. "Just do me a favor, don't follow me."
"But you're supposed to be my bodyguard and that means we stick together," he protested.
"Baby sitting, I'm supposed to baby sit you pretty boy."
"Wow!" He exclaimed happily, but silently, more of a mutter. "She said am 'pretty'."
Raising is head back to consciousness she was out of sight, probably already in her intended destination, Emma's room.
OUTSKIRT OF SHADE.
"Welcome, William Castle and Julian Castle," A voice spoke from the dark corner of the warehouse and after it followed Marcus.
"You look like Marcus," William said up holding his usual smile.
"Where are they?" Julian asked breathing heavily, revealing his lack of patience.
Marcus chuckled and threw forward a full lock of dark hair before them.
"I got your message, Julian. I must say, you really terrified my men, fortunately one lived to tell the story."
"What did you do?" Julian asked as he bent to pick the tied up hair.
Immediately, Emma was brought forward, both hands tied to the front. And Julian was heartbroken by her sight, her hair was completely shaved to low.
"No one threatens me," Marcus said holding her by the back of the neck. "I figured out this one particular is your favorite and I did more than hurt a single hair."
"Why don't you let her go and face me," William suggested, but then turned to Julian and rephrased. "Face us, you wanted us, here we are."
"You're right, you two have always been my family's problem," Marcus admitted and threw Emma to the ground, and she winced in pain.
"How's that?" William asked.
"You think what happened to your family was forgotten?" He asked moving from left to right then over. "My ancestor, Simon was the hunter who led the lynch on your parents, and he with some few others hunted you but miraculously you got away. And when he returned back, the whole village at that time took an oath of secrecy to say nothing of that kind except the one they were made to, the goddamn epidemic. And as the new generation were born, that's all they knew, epidemic. Although he grew old and weak, but the search and hunt for you two have been passed through our bloodline through the centuries, and now it's me. And I'll be the one to end you monsters."
He concluded and removed his sole weapon, a glaive, a double headed, bladed weapon with its handle in the middle.
"Release the captives!" He ordered and stepped back in a white line, protected from outsiders.
And just then incantations from a male witch had ended and from the darkness, there was soft growl and then it got louder, cautiously Julian rushed and withdrew Emma from whatever danger lurked at the end of the darkness. She was weak and could barely stand on her own.
"Take her and leave, I'll take care of him and get Lucy out," Julian instructed William.
"Hell no! That son of bitch killed our parents and wanna kill us."
"He said his ancestor, not him, " Julian corrected.
"All the same," he replied facing forth. "And I'll want nothing but to rip him open."
Immediately, creatures like wraiths, but with dark, floating bat like wings rushed out of the shadows, looking pale and impatient. Their skin were so dried and all the bones in their body revealed through their pale skin. They probably have been starved for long. They were so fast, their constant flying around blocked the ventilation of the sunlight piercing through the little windows at the helm top of the building.
"What are these creatures?" William wandered curiously.
"Emma," Julian quickly bent down to her. "You need to try and shield yourself from danger," he required opening the container with a key Daniel gave him. "Please, you can do this, just try."
She weakly and slowly lifted her hand up, and light gradually emanated from her palm making a light shield which covered her, and back she rested peacefully.
"Bloody hell!" William exclaimed. "The 'Captor'. He has the book."
"What's it?" Julian sought clarification.
"Thousands of years ago, a witch had that book where she locked all her monsters and would unleash them when she wanted, and they were destructive and can't be killed," William slowly turned to Julian. "They're indestructible."
"Well let's find out."
His transformation went along his defying words. His eyes glowed gray and smoked like Ice's vapour. And as he kept growing in size his shirt tore off, his legs forced out of his boots, and his trouser rascally shattered and torn from the laps down to the ankle. Behold, what stood in representation of Julian was nothing like one has seen before. He was huge, whole body hairy gray. His fangs were swords, his claws spears, and his skin armor. In fact, he was a full werewolf without an inspiration of the full moon.
"What the fuck," William marvelled shifting back. "You can transform fully at will."
The state of shock William was in extended to Marcus and the rest of his company. But William, there was no better feeling knowing he was on his side, therefore, he also unleashed his readiness and inhuman appearance towards the enemies.
At this juncture, the captives assembled in attack, and the loud roar of Julian shook the roof of the building and windows shattered.
"Give the order," Marcus instructed the male witch with a stir of finger in the air, and the witch uttered a magic word and the captives attacked at once.
Julian also jumped at them, and they all covered him up in attack and he could barely be revealed from their darkness. Marcus was impressed by it and watched desperately from his 'safe haven'. As he was smiling, a captive suddenly slammed right in his face, on the hidden shield of the barrier, and then more came and more out through the walls. It was a sudden turn of events, and the captives loudly screeched and wailed as Julian brutally tore their wings from their backs, limbs from their bodies and them in whole. And in a matter of time, their was nothing flying around except dust.
"Indestructible my ass," Julian in his deep, bass monstrous voice exclaimed.
Just as his words ended, the torn pieces of the captives mysterious located one another and merged back to whole, and they reassembled before Julian again.
"This is creepy, why ain't they attacking me and just you?" William asked.
"That's because my hunters are enough for you," Marcus replied and a complete dozen of hunters stepped out from the line and rounded William, all with sorts of weapons.
"Now this is more like it," William smiled and vanished from their midst, and quickly, they as well heard receding screams concomitant to his disappearance. Counting, they were down to ten and blood splashed on the floor and walls. Could be attributed to the captives earlier torn apart, but they were dried creatures without liquid in them, so definitely must be of the two missing hunters.
"How did he do that?" One of the hunters asked.
"He's not just any vampire," Marcus replied. "He's the type that enjoys killing hunters and is good at it. He killed my father and his father, and lots of us."
He looked sad from the stream of bad memories.
"I hated hunters because I knew they killed my parents," William showed up saying. "But I hate you now because you guys just reminded me of it."
With each and every appearance he made, his disappearance wasn't done alone but with a hunter with him. Their weapons responded useless against him, whereas, how could they fight what they couldn't see?
Marcus however turned his face away and only heard the long cry of his men, thuds and collision and growls. And soon, it was silent of normal human sound, except for the super fight of Julian and the captives.
Soon, Marcus walked out of his protection and met William standing above the bodies of his men, in a pool of blood.
"Let's get this over with, shall we?" William challenged, smiled and attacked first.
So acting upon it, he whooshed pass Marcus standing at the other end with a leaking stomach of blood.
"How?" William asked in pains.
"Daniel didn't tell you?" He responded cutting the air with is glaive. "This is my profession, and I'm good at it."
"He did mentioned you having a compass that navigates to immortals before they get to you," William averred still wincing in pain as his wound was still open, without any response to healing.
"I know two seconds where you at before you reach me," he said and set for another attack. "And that wound won't be healing anytime soon, my blade have been showered with white witch's burn."
"So am I," William replied.
"Yes, by the same light that made you, it can as well break you."
William said nothing but stared at Emma still laying down in her light shield.
"She cares for her fellow white witch so I made her do it or I kill her. That's what queens do after all, protect theirs."
William angrily attacked Marcus without a specific strategy and that left him defenseless totally, and in just a matter of time, Marcus stood above him with his blood showered all over him. Julian made to intervene but the captives kept him busy. But a strong push took Marcus away to the pillars so hard that he fell groaning immensely in pain. Then Alisa walked forward helping wounded William up to his feet, but again dropped him back and went before the barrier.
"You can't break the barrier," the male witch said holding the book wide open.
Immediately, she moved her palm on him and to the wall he was instantly taken and merged like a sticker. He couldn't move as he was stuck on the wall, and she kept her hand up towards him still.
"Y-you are so powerful," the witch confessed in fear.
"My mother was a patron and all her powers passed down to me before she died," she said and with her telekinetic ability threw him out to the open. She then took the book and from her incantations the captives left Julian and attacked the male witch ripping him off to shreds, but but not Marcus, as he'd escape before then. So she summoned back the captives in the book and shut it close.
Julian transformed back to human but was weak, nevertheless he went for Lucy and took her and William home, while Alisa took Emma to her home.
CASTLE'S RESIDENCE.
"Thanks for saving me Julian," Lucy appreciated just as she woke and saw him beside her.
"Glad you're okay," he responded and stood walking out of the room.
"Wait," she rouse from the bed and held his hand. "You asked why I saved you back then," she raised looking straight in his face. "It's because I love you, I still do. I never stopped even for once, I was just angry."
He was speechless and only returned back the gesture, staring back at her in the face. So she released his hand and laid back quietly while he proceeded on, but at the brink of the door, he stopped and rushed back to her. Howbeit, she also vigorously rouse from the bed in anticipation of him and they began kissing passionately, hurriedly and desperately. Further, still kissing she helped take off his shirt and then took off her own oversized shirt, and it was just him against her naked breast, and her against his hairy, brawny, paved chest. As they were wholly falling back to bed, he moved his hand against her skin down to and into her shorts. And the feeling she got triggered a sensation that forced out the soft moan in her, and her eyes glowed to the reaction and hands as well to the feelings, warmly rubbing on his back.
Down stairs, William stood eavesdropping to the moan of pleasure.
