5 hours later...
Everyone has arrived at the swamp forest, but the location of the swamp village is about 30 minutes away.
As they travel inside the swamp forest, they noticed that many goblins corpses are lying on the ground and some of them are floating on the water. The path towards the village is extremely difficult, without these bridges it would take them an hour to get there.
Lux noticed that there are also some human corpses on the road, just by looking at them Tommy almost vomited even for others it's way too horrible.
"These people most likely got assassinated by the goblins while passing these bridges." Said lux after seeing all the corpses.
"Your right, it's lucky for us that these people came here first, if you look closely you can see many traps laid down on the bridges, without these, even if they assassinate these people in a group they won't be able to win." Said Kimura after seeing the traps on the road. "In the first place, it's their mistake that they got careless while on the mission, most of them probably think it's just a child play," Kimura added.
After hearing that, others that don't have any real battle experience made a serious expression, except for those who have experience.
Kimura lightens up the mood after noticing them having a serious expression.
"Well, you just have to leave it to us." Said Kimura with a fake smile.

After 30 minutes of driving, everyone finally arrived at the designated place where they meet with the other parties.

As they arrived in front of the gate 5 guards stopped them from entering to inspect their belongings and permission to enter the village.
The permission they talk about is the quest, if they don't have it then, they are not allowed to enter.
David as the captain of the group took out the papers and showed them the quest with a signature on them.
The guards immediately recognized it and allowed them to go inside.
But before going inside, david asked them to wear a mask, some of them are confused but they wore it reluctantly.
One of the guards showed them the way, as they arrived inside you can see some people injured and some of them are corpses.
But what surprised them the most is the number of people inside, there are only a few of them left.
"What happened here? Why are there only these few insides?" Asked david out of curiosity.
"About that, the others are busy retrieving the village led by one of the guild members of Phoenix guild." Explained by the guard.
"Isn't this the village?"
"No, the main village is 10 minutes away from here. This village is only used for production area, but since the main village was invaded by the goblins the government decided this place to be our base until we eliminate all goblins inside the village." Guard answered David's question.
After hearing the guard's explanation, he thought that they might have already retrieved the village since the one leading it is a member of the Phoenix guild, one of the top 10 famous guilds in the country.
After analyzing the situation, David and others decided to help the injured first before going to the battlefield.
With that, everyone took the role suitable for them. Tommy, takeshi, and the duo took the role of giving food to those who need it. Hayato, Wilbur, and Phil are healing the injured warrior using Wilbur's potion and other potions bought by the government, while david, lux, and gallahan are making a strategy after getting all the information from the guards.
After an hour of helping people, they finally finished their tasks. Shortly a messenger came back from the battlefield to announce the message given to him by the leader.
The message contains information regarding the village status and it also says that the Mission of retrieving the village was a success.
But, there is a problem, the problem is the goblins weren't completely annihilated and they probably came back again to take the village back.
After getting the information, david and others immediately came to the main village as a reinforcement.
Soon they arrived at the swamp village.

At first, the place looks normal but, while walking towards the frontline, the area gets darker and the houses are demolished by the goblins.

"Is this really a village? It looks like a hunted village." Said Tommy after seeing the demolished houses.
"Well, let's look for the others first"- david.
After walking for a few minutes, they finally meet the other groups.
Some warriors tried to stop them in case they are an enemy or a bandit trying to loot them because of the mask they wear.
The one commanding all groups stands in front of them and asked for their information if they are an ally.
" Who are you, what's your motive here?"
David immediately took out the quest paper and showed them that they are an ally.
"We are here to help you as a reinforcement and we brought in food supplies."
With that, they lowered their weapons against them.
Takeshi showed them the food and started giving them just like earlier.
"You're the leader of the group right?" Asked the person commanding all the groups with a Phoenix logo on his shoulder.
David immediately recognized the person and his identity since his knowledge about the Phoenix guild is large.
"Yes, I'm the leader, is there something you need?"
"Nothing, but I would like to invite you to join our meeting, every group leaders are also present we only like to share your thoughts about strategies"
David immediately agreed since this is his intention from the very start.
With that, they went inside the tent where all group leaders are present.
Everyone took a seat and started discussing the strategy. While discussing, david got bored after hearing their opinions because their strategy would most likely take a week or a month just to kill a goblin.
The commanding leader earlier noticed David's behavior and was annoyed by it. he asked david if he has a strategy in his mind.
"Do you have any strategy?" Said the commander to david.

This sudden question made the whole leaders inside silent.
Then david starts speaking after a few seconds.
"Then, may I get the permission to speak my opinion and my strategy?" Asked david with a serious tone.
"Speak!"
David started sharing his opinion and strategy after the permission was given to him.
"Then let me start with my opinion first, honestly your strategies are way too stupid."
Bang...
As soon as he said that, one of the captains punch the table with an angry expression.
"Who do you think you are to say that?"
Then, one by one the other captains complained too.
"Silence"
Every single person who heard that didn't mutter a word any further as they are afraid to mess around with the Phoenix guild member.
"You can continue," said the captain of the group of Phoenix guild.
David proceeded to talk again after hearing him.
"Then let me continue. Your strategies are definitely gonna succeed but, it would take way too long just to hunt a goblin, if we proceed with your plan, there will be more casualties just like those corpses I saw on the road earlier, they died because of your carelessness."
The leader of those people who died because of the ambushed drew his sword out before pointing it at David.
"You crossed the line kid, if you talk any further I will kill you!" He said while pointing the sword at David.
"Then, what do you call it? Because of your stupid decision, some of your squad members died." Said David as he sips his tea.
"You son of a bitch*," he retorted as he swings his sword at David.
Clang...
Just when the sword is about to hit the target, a person with a logo similar to the leader blocked the sword.
Meanwhile, in the background, other captains are wondering where he got the tea from since they don't have any on the table.
"If you tried to kill others I will be the one killing you," said the person who blocked the attack.
The captain shivered in fear after feeling the killing intent. without any choice, he sat down on his seat.
Seeing him went back to silent, the person disappeared in front of them.
...
"Well then, let us hear your strategy"
David explained his strategy after all those quarrels. After explaining the strategy, everyone thought it was a joke, and some disagreed with this strategy.
"Kid, do you think this is a child play?"
"That's right he must be thinking this as a joke, if you destroy the village then why did we even agree to retrieve it? All those people who died just to retrieve it will be meaningless."
"He's right, we don't even have any bomb or materials to put a trap"
The captain's complaints and started making a fuss about his strategy, They even started attacking him through words and saying that his strategy is a complete non-sense.

These dudes are still thinking of defending these hunted houses, did they really think they can still save it and restore it back to normal? Even if they tried to restore it, the government will probably decide to destroy it too once they saw the status of the village.
