Allowing the glass to slip out of their fingertips, the wine as well as the goblet crashes on the marble flooring, causing the ground to tremor and the chandlers above to sway back and forward. A pillar, the floor, rose to our eye level, giving who I believe to be God a better view over us. The trembling soon stops, those who lost their balance gets helped off the ground.
Standing in the image it showed me when we first met, the decomposed creature wielding two large black horns on separate sides of their head, they fix the goblet they shatter, reconstructing it with wine fill to the brim.
Finally, they speak, " I thank you all for your attention and obedience." It's demonic voice echo across the entire ball room, reaching even those who wish to ignore. "As you saw," Their number of eyes latch on to every wall in the room, " The final contestant has joined our eternal party, ended the dance and started the game we all been waiting for; The battle for the chance to become God!"
Red cloth and all dangle from the arms of the many eyed creature, when raising them up in praise. Then it's eyes jolt to the crowd.
"Unfortunately... " Holding a sadden tongue, its eyes all fall lower. "It means death to those children who cannot sustain victory..." The being excitement was extinguished, taking its humanoid form once more, but voice still able to reach out to us. "In order to become God, in order to bend the universe and faith of others by your own whim, you must be the last survivor of this horrific game!"
The crowd going in to mutter about what God spoke to each one of us, they wonder if when it spoke of last survivor, if that it meant death.
I of course already knew that was the case. It wasn't any new information. What's suspicious though is that the one the fox looking guy called third had no shock to their face, as well as him.... -
The sound of another's glass slapping the floor, brought my attention away from both the fox and the shallow, to a frighten guy, who nerves vividly pop, standing a few feet away behind me. That guy bags up in a panic, bumping shoulders with a few others.
"N-No!! Y-You're lying!" He cried. "You can't be God-
It was hard to tell but God's human form crack a devilish grin. " Oh, but I am." They stretch out their hands in open arms. "And reality has been set as is. Your one choice is to take my throne or die. There is no other way. The families you all knew, your friends, they were all exterminated. You are the last of the race of ambition. I myself have pulled you from such destruction in order to participate and participate you shall!"
God went on and on about what they expect in this game, expressing their devilish ability and the control of our actions, trying their best in convincing us that this was the only way to become God,
"Live, run or Kill. It is your own choice. All to become God of a universe fit for the one's mind! It is a simple offer; One I cannot see a majority to refuse..."
God re-explain what they told me on the top of the tower, adding nothing new, as well as hiding that we were just randomly pulled in for a mere distraction, giving us not a glimpse of the entire game...
Also, it said to kill but didn't explain how we will. With our bare hands? - I hated the thought of taking another's life. - There's more, God never spoke of the demon and mask they gifted me, what are they for-
Shaking me from my thoughts was one of the people who wore a mask, one with a strangely carved mouth across the face of it and roughly cut eyes, having two small silver spikes over the left eye of the mask, walking pass my side. -
Instantly, during the sequence, something red and quick struck the face of God leaving a stain on their skeletal face. It causes them to direct every fleshy eye to the character, holding a menacing glare to the who oppose them.
"You wish to speak, child." The demon voice trembles the air we breathe, leaning their giant decomposed head to the face of the one in the mask.
God held a terrifying look as if he was going to devour the person alive on the spot, using the tip of their fleshy bone finger to slightly touch the back of the person who went against them in bravery.
"Tell me... Do you- Wish- To speak!" Breathing a stench of black air at them, those who crowd around the mask one, steps back, coughing and ventilating. A few puking in their hand repulse by the smell.
The one God address broke out into a muffle of laughter, hand over their mask, having ill will to ignore their presents as the game master, speaking on their own timing, "You see," Their voice sounded masculine, doing what I could never, speaking to that monstrous image of God in a insolent style. "This charade of giving the extra you pulled in the chance to become god, forgive me, but it's plainly misguided..."
God cranks their skull shape head to the left, shifting into the form of a girl that has peach colored hair, purple hue at the ends and pink eyes that mismatch from her purple dress. "Misguided? What-ever do you mean?" Their voice also switches to a softer feminine tone, causing the guy in the mask hand to twitch a bit at the sight. It seems to me that he knew the image that God took.
"....." The mask guy fell silent, no longer speaking.
Another then took his act of rebelling, stepping up from beside me. "Bakura's right you know..." The one that fox like man from earlier referred to as third, spoke of the mask one, clenching onto a silver pendent in his left hand, still having the red stain from earlier on his shirt. "Bringing them into this game... Not fully telling them the rules... It's rather unholy, even for a despicable creature as you."
I didn't quite grasp onto what they both argue about, but I dawn on what they mention of God's behavior being Unholy. They are the one who created such a game. A game to kill to take their throne, as they put it. However, seeing that this being has the power of God, and was able to wipe humanity out of existence, is it wrong to assume that our definition of what is holy is now vague?
"Unholy you say..."- When directing to the one called Third, God brought up another new image; A short blond hair guy, that wields a passive face. Third remain in place unlike the mask guy, continue to stare them down emptily, just as he did me.
God continue to stare back at third, tilting their head again in a debate. Will it kill them both on the spot or follow what they demand?
God straighten back up their posture, taking a few steps back on the marble platform. Reaching their hand high up towards the celling, they then let its thumb snap together with their middle finger, an echo sent everyone around me and myself, into vanishing light...
