Chapter 64 - Chapter 63: The Blue Blood

It's nighttime. Dark and loud. I think the reason they decide to fight now and in this very place is just, to look cool. I try to catch the scene despite the dusts fogging me from it. The wolfman kicks the planks on the ground to distract Bobo's attention as he leaps and throws his claws forward. And to which she responds just by swinging the Bloodwing to project the attacks and blowing away the wolfman together. All in all, these dusts and strong wind are damaging my eyes and messing up with hair. More, these chopped planks continuously coming at my way at a sharp speed.

As the wolf staggers, Bobo dashes forward. Just like what she did to me back in the Occult Clubroom, thrusting the Blood Wing in his direction. But somehow it looks weaker and slower, I can tell.

And to my surprise, the wolfman casually grabs the Blood Wing's body. "Stop with this plaything already."

The hairy hand tries to grab Bobo's head, but she quickly kicks him off and jumps away from the claws.

And at this moment, I realized, things have gone worse to me. The back of my shirt is torn!

Also, others might have not noticed this, but I feel different. No, not me—the energy in this area. Energy usually flows up and clockwise. But it feels the exact opposite now.

Bobo is heaving while both of her sweat and energy are dropping. She shakes her head, throwing the sweats off from her skin.

And the wolfman loves to see that, "What's wrong? I thought you're far stronger than this. At this rate, you're going to fall under my mouth soon. And the human you're trying to protect would just watch you die and do nothing."

Bobo scoffs at him, "Look who's talking. You're weaker than I thought."

"Huh?" The wolfman tilts his head. "You're the one who's almost worn down here."

"Am I?" Bobo coughs. "You low life should've paid more attention to things you can't see."

"Crazy bitch, talk as much as you want, haha!" The wolfman leaps forward, faster, stronger. Until everything seems to rotate 360 once. The wolfman slows down, slower, and finally put one knee on the ground. His sweats pour like crazy as his mouth swallowing every little of oxygen he can find.

Bobo stands straight, her golden eyes are open freshly.

The energy flows normally now.

Now I remember, it's one of the succubus' ability to tricks energies.

Bobo explains, "Waigrene."

And it seems the wolfman knows the word when he pushes his dark eyes up to meet her, "Y—you… you're a succubus."

"Hmph, you should've known first before trying me."

It's simple, Bobo has created a field of invisible energy to control the space we're in now and change the flow of the energy. Bobo had rarely moved from her spot—using less energy, but in the effect of her field, she was punished for it. Her energy drains quick. And the wolfman always moves around, being stronger each time—his energy went up instead of dropping doing so. But when the field was removed, everything got uno-reversed. Bobo energy goes up and the wolfman got punished. His body is trying to keep up with the rapid change of energy now—paralyzed him.

The wolf coughs out laughters. "Thought your kind has gone extinct." The man tries to regain his stance.

"There's no point in trying to escape anymore. You are to be eaten by the Blood Wing." Bobo raises up the enormous umbrella, "Don't tell me I didn't warn you."

A loud crackling noise fill in the area as the Blood Wing flaps open. There's nothing much to see under the umbrella but a dark inviting shadow. Something living is in there.

The wolf chuckles, "Hah, Blood Wing, huh? Whoever made that must've built for a fatass."

Proudly, Bobo humors him, "She was made by the evil dragons around the Genesis time."

"It looks ugly."

"Urg," Since Bobo is always calm, it's apparent she's hurt by the claim. "Whatever, everything of yours is going to be her dinner, anyway."

Crackling noises continue.

The wolfman watches the Bloodwing, preparing for anything.

Everyone waits for it to do something. Including Bobo.

Bobo looks up in the shadow as she shakes the umbrella. "Darkness, time to wake up. We have someone to punish."

And something comes out of the shadow!

A toothbrush drops to the ground.

Huh?

Bobo's face sinks. "Did you just wake up, Darkness?"

Then a reply by a high-pitched noise: "Sorry~ but can you give me back my toothbrush? I know I'm late and that toothbrush totally ruined my epic image."

"Our," Bobo corrects her.

"Haha! Yeah. I was watching Breaking B'ad yesterday and by yesterday I meant ten minutes ago because I stop watching it when I realized you were fighting. I mean, come on, I can't just expect you'd call me after a decade not doing so. And also, I'm not in a mood to fight like… I'm not."

Bobo sighs and says, "This werewolf in front of us called you're ugly."

"…"

Almost immediately, a thousand shadowy hands shoot out from the dark pentagon and fly straight to the wolfman. "Yah! no one calls me ugly, stupid dog!"

"What the fuck is this?!" The man jumps over a couple of hands that grab the ground and create smokes after it. Another three hands get kicked away. Dodges another in midair. And bites one, but this hand has successfully touches one of his arm.

As it was in contact with him, his skin burned with dark flames.

Another two hands grab him. And another five. Ten. Twenty. Before long, the wolfman is no more but a tornado of shadows arms all around him.

Bobo just calmly watching the scenes as the arms keep coming out above her.

She won.

"W—Where are they?!"

Unknown voice is coming in the scene. A child. Human? No, she smells very peculiar, but familiar. Hey, I know this girl.

A cyan-headed girl runs toward me. Her eyes are red and watery. Her hands are rock fists.

"Who is this?" Bobo turns to her and asks.

I call to her, "H—hey, aren't you the ramen girl?"

She looks up at me. She's crying, yet her gaze is sturdy. I know this look. They were the tears which yearns for revenge. "Get out of my way, Human. I will kill those ghouls and wolves, ten times crueler than what they did to grandmama!"

A loud laugh. Coming from the piranhas of shadows. "So you're here already, hahaha!"

"I—I can't seem to hold him."

Bobo looks up, "What do you mean, Darkness?!"

"H—his energy is drastically changing, I—I can't suck his soul!"

Bang!

In an instance, every one of the shadow's arm is popped off as if they're balloons.

Revealing a full-formed of a big Werewolf. Its fur is emitted, the moon is smirking at him. There's no man in him anymore. He's now a pure hell creature. The werewolf.

Bobo quickly closes her umbrella, pulling the shadow remains back in.

The werewolf doesn't wait. He sets his dark yellow on me and sprints straight. Woah woah! When Bobo sees this, in a blink, she appears in front of me to intercept. But then the wolf changes her direction.

His eyes now locking on the girl.

"Yo—You!"

The werewolf smirks. "Hello there, Blue Blood. You should've listened to your grandma's last words."

The girl raises her hand; the wolf punches her stomach; she drops forward and he grabs her.

Bobo creates a small dark purple energy, but I quickly pull her arm down.

"Wh—Why are you touching me?! Not now, Male! You can touch me everywhere you want later!"

Oi, that's what I try to do at all!

The werewolf gives us a last mocking smile and leaps up to the sky. Disappear. Escapes.

And now it's just silence.

Bobo throws my hand off and faces me with her eyebrows pull together. Ahem, it seems there's a bit of explanation to do.

"What was that, Male?" she asks. "Now you just let him get away! That's obviously is not the right thing to do!"

"You almost kill the girl, too."

Her cheek twitches, and she turns around. "Whatever. I'm chasing him."

"Don't."

Bobo gives me a questioning look, "Are you okay with someone as him taking the blue blood? You know about it, don't act like you don't."

"She'd be fine. And you would be in a lot more situation if you chase him. He's already a dead wolf."

Because Ayane had already found him.
