It turns out I'm fine for now. The quick claws clang with this kind of dark and red rod—in any case, throwing my assaulter back. Dusts fall to our head after the ceiling shakes. Achoo! At this rate my lungs will be fill in with wood particles.
The wolfman steps three times away, alerted of the recent presence between us two, falling from the air lightly as a feather.
As her black beaks touches the ground, the maid's skirt swings as if it's a stacks of falling dominoes.
"He there, Bobo." I casually call her. Apparently, she has come to my rescue (I could've dodged them and been fine myself, not that I was missing any leg here.) Her umbrella, the-whatshecalleditagain-Blood Batwing kisses on the ground. Even after parrying a powerful strike from a werewolves, the Blood Wing is unscratched. It's no normal umbrella.
The golden eyes of the succubus stare at me.
What? Can't a man fall and embarrass himself sometimes? Jeez. I shrug her apathetic eyes. "Well, that just happened. Thanks, but really, I was fine. You don't need to be bothered by this."
"I do," she throws back her sight in front of her, "human or male, you're still 'him.' And, the way I see it, you will not try to fight back, even if it means to protect yourself. If you don't want you to dirty your hand, then let me do the work. I'm not letting you croak out tonight."
Okay, first, what do you mean by 'human or male?' And second, why do we have to fight this guy? Like we can just escape him. You just proved your speed is superior to his.
"And escaping him won't do, Male."
Wowoah, did she read my mind or something? Anyway, can she stop calling me Male? "Sensei."
She gives me a disgusted glance. "Don't hope me to."
So, you're just going to call me male? Sigh, guess I've to put that up too. Lucky for you, I'm not some tw'tter enthusiast or I'd try to cancel you for misgendering me.
The wolfman lets out a throaty laugh. "Ah, watch. Isn't it another girl coming to your rescue, human? Are you building a harem of bodyguards? Do you not fight?" His eyes digging into me.
I've shared my part of fighting. And, "Dude," I give the wolfman a face, "it's 2020. So what if it's a woman?"
"What do you mean by that?"
Bobo, too, looks at me in question.
I'm more than happy to say, "take it this way, nowadays, not just men who have balls, you know?"
"…"
"Like, I mean, testicles, haha."
"…"
"Ok, sorry for that unnecessary fact about the current state of the world right now. Continue on."
The eyes leave the poor me alone.
The wolfman growls, his sharp tooth breathing under his puckered lips as he studies the maid with an umbrella. "You smell nothing like a human. Why'd you protect one? Who and what are you?"
Bobo scoffs, "the answer is irrelevant to you. Ask yourself this: do you really think you can take me on? I don't want to make my Queen's shelter dirty," she wiggles the umbrella, "and as a fellow hellsings, I give you the option to leave now. I will not make a move against you if you back away from him and this place."
"Tch," the wolfman spits, "who decides this place is yours now? I was the one who came first."
Bobo stiffs her body and looks dead straight to our hostile being, "Me." Bobo slightly raises the Blood Wing and uses it to pierce the wooden floor. A short earthquake follows up. Parts of the ceiling fall down and a heavy one almost got my hand. When it dies down, she continues, "As a servant of Her, I declare this city is now of my Queen's."
She pulls the Blood Wing off the ground together with pieces of woods and dirt. Looking closely at the hole, it's now with a dark and red mark on it. A symbol of what I assume to be a big vampire's wing and three moons, each with a unique pattern.
She returns her gaze to the wolfman, who is at a loss for words. "I can't make it more obvious," she says, "this place is under the authority of my Queen as of now. Even your little brain can deduct that she is one of the hundred Lord. If you do so to ignore my order now," her eyes flash golds, "then die."
It took a moment from his shock before he shake his head while cackling, "A queen? One of the hundred lords, huh? So that means there's a new pack around here?"
Bobo takes a gentle breath. It seems marking this land has used a part of her energy. "Say whatever you want. I am giving you three seconds to scatter away. Whatever you business is here, forget about it for now. You can send us a formal letter another day if it's very important. AT the risk of your life, of course. Until then, you feet are unwelcome here."
The wolfman flicks his finger. "Ah, so your queen wants it too, huh? So that's why she sends you guys here. To think of the information to spread this rapid, we must've traitor in our packs."
"Pardon?"
The wolfman beams at us. "Don't act as if you don't know. You guys want it, too, right? The legendary bloodlines. The Blue Blood."
Bobo twitches. It seems she knows what the Blue Blood is. She glances back at me as if she wants to question, 'did you come here for that?'
And to which I respond, 'what is blue blood?' I can seem to recall it, but nothing else is in my mind but the creaking ceiling. 'Can we take this outside? This building will drop on our head soon.'
Bobo sighs and returns her eyes on him, "Our business here is not a concern for you. And the time I gave you is already over."
"Is that so…"
There's a moment of silence between the two. The ceiling creaking louder. O-oh, not good. I slowly back away to the entrance. I don't want to come home with a head injury. That'll piss my little sister in regard to breaking the 'no fighting in you uniform' promise.
Crack.
The ceiling fell.
And the two moves and disappear in the dust.
I throw myself outside as I hear a loud crash behind me.
The building collapsed. But to make its current state worse, there's two hell creatures fighting while at it.
