When will this end, I don't know. I'm also dying here, confused wheter to worry about the vampire who's going to harm the world, or these two girls don't want to leave before all of their problem done here.
"You're terrible, you made them fight," Remelia says to me.
Nelia who once again thought it was directed to her, turns to Remelia, "D--Do you want us to fight?" But she sounds more of a, 'please don't give us the option to fight, please' than a question.
Remelia shrugs, "I don't know. It's all up to the Human to try and deal with this. I'll have my time soon enough."
I sigh, "No one is going to fight here."
Nelia's shoulder relaxes. Her eyes pop open as she claps her hand, "Oh, but of course! It's rule number three in this clubroom. It is not? No fighting. Sensei is right."
I follow the nod, "Yes."
…
Hold up.
"What? No?" I just accidentally agreed. Since when did we decide that?
Ayane gives her a frown and says with a sharp tone, "Now, who do you think you are, just telling the clubroom rules like that?"
And Nelia is proud to say as she taps her breast. "I, believe or not, heard or not, mentioned or not, am the official co-president of the occult clubroom."
"Haa? You're kidding," She sounds both disbelief and mocking, "You?"
"What? Don't believe me?" Nelia's neck stiffens. She looks in our direction.
"Ask Miss President slash Queen herself."
All eyes on Remelia.
Remelia who should be the president of the clubroom now (apparently), rubs her chin as she gives it a thought. She opens her mouth, "What's rule number one?"
That's what you're asking?
"Rule number one," Nelia glances at the president for a while and nods respectfully, "That is obviously, give all your respect to the President Queen of the clubroom. That's the first and most important rule of all."
All rules are important.
And at this point she's just using flattery to her advantage.
And the vampire princess smiles, "Oh?" The sound of amused. "I like them. So if then what's rule number two?"
"Er…." the black-headed girls look around the room for answers. "I guess, no stealing?"
"Hah!" Ayane joins in with a snort, "ironic for you to say."
"What do you mean by that?"
"You did steal Sensei's jacket, didn't you? You creep."
"Hey, I can't be a thief and a creep at the same time…." Nelia looks at me, "Can I?"
I don't have the answer for that, don't look at me like I do.
Ayane eyes check up on me, "Really, Sensei? You just give your jacket to a random student? Why? Is it because of her dress?"
No, the dress is the most weird part of this.
"So it is..." She looks down her body and grits her teeth, "it's about the boobs right?"
…
No.
Nelia looks up at me with affection, "Oh, Sensei. Do you really think I'm important as your jacket? Your jacket seems to love to hug me then." Then she turns to Ayane. And also raises her chest up maliciously.
You know what, I'm just going to ignore this topic about a specific body part of a female.
What are these two on about? "My jacket… is not important. "
"How come? You always wear that one."
"No. I have others black jacket in my closet."
Why am I telling this?
All this topic about thieves and jackets wouldn't be resolved if we didn't do anything about it. The two of them are never going to leave the clubroom.
"Didn't you say you didn't think she was a thief a few minutes ago?" I say.
Ayane who realizes she has contradicted herself, flushes. As she grits her teeth she says, "I did. And I take it all back."
This isn't going anywhere.
"Ayane," I call her and she turns to me with her arms crossed. "I was the one who let Nelia borrow my jacket, and now you heard it from me, there's no reason to drag this conflict anymore."
"Urg..."
"But thank you. You did all those just out of concern for me." I turn to Nelia, "Please forgive her harsh way of doing things, Nelia."
Nelia nods slowly, "I--I can do that."
Ayane clicks her tongue, arms still shielding her heart. "I--I'm sorry too."
The room becomes silent for a while.
Hey, I kinda succeeded in this.
I sigh, "You can't ask for a good place to make the first impression anyway. This is all just a big misunderstanding."
Ayane and Nelia nod.
"The school hallway was hectic, maybe that's why."
But then I accidentally bite my tongue.
O-oh, that's not good. It's a sign of 'I said something that's very unnecessary .'
And boy, I did,
Ayane raises her eyebrow, "How do you know that? That we've met in the school hallway…"
Er...
But she doesn't need me to answer. Ayane is a smart girl.
With a SWOOSH, her eyes swipe to Nelia. There's even a slashing sound.
"Eek--"
Ayane begins, "So you talked about me to them."
Nelia tries to shake her head but the vampire princess, who thinks she needs to participate, had to intervene.
"Yes, the co-president has told us everything what she knows. It's a sign of loyalty."
"What did she say..." Ayane asks, her face darkens.
"Hm, my mind remembers them correctly. She described you as a brown, bob cut hair with sharp eyes that's not totally cute at all. And..."
Knowing or not, Remelia somehow snitched.
Ayane's glare has become scorn.
"Eep--" comes a squeak from Nelia.
Ayane chuckles darkly, "Now there's no such rule as no killing in the clubroom right?"
"Eep--" Nelia looks at me with wet eyes.
How do I end this loop? These two, can't they just be friends?
I clear my throat, "Ayane." Another call but now toned down with a warning.
And Ayane gets it. She looks at me with a 'this is not my fault' face.
"Now you know she just borrowed my jacket, you don't have the reason to assault her." I say.
Nelia nods at that, "Sensei is right. You don't have any!"
Can you not do that? You're going to make this worse.
Ayane tched, "fair point. But still, I might still kill her."
"For what?" I ask.
"For what, for what?" Nelia follows. She's just throwing more coals into fire.
Ayane's face darkens, "For being too annoying."
"Eep--" Nelia turns to me again, "I'm not annoying! Tell her I'm not Sensei. Sensei? Sensei?!"
She is being annoying now.
I sigh, "Ayane, that's a very good reason to have a grudge with someone. And, if this could be any help, don't think of her as annoying."
Nelia is smiling, savouring every tone of my sentences.
"Just, think of her as an idiot."
"Oof--" Something invisible just fell on her head.
"Oh…" Ayane shifts her tone softly, "I might as well do that."
"Ack-- I ca… I can't take anymore insult….humummmm…"
"We're not sorry." Ayane says.
Hey, speak for yourself.
She continues, "If I can't kill you psychically, I'll kill you mentally."
"Yo--You're joking right?"
"I might be. But it's most put on, No."
"Humumum…"
Remelia sighs as she shakes her head at the sight of Nelia whimpering, "Some co-president you are."
When she said that, Nelia's eyes opened. "Yo--You're right! I'm the co-president of this club." She turns to Ayane, "And as a co-president of the Occult Clubroom, I order you to not try to kill in any way possible. Do you under--eep!"
Got stopped by Ayane glare.
"And what makes you think that's going to stop me?"
"Eeh? I--I just thought, you'll listen to the more important person in here."
"Oh yeah," She points at Nelia as if she's a zoo animal and looks at me, "You let this become your co-president? What's up with that?"
