Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Things Are Probably Going To Be More Chaotic From Now On.

I didn't let her. It's just she somehow got in by the time I can even react. And the somehow President of the Occult Clubroom likes the flattery.

Ayane still waiting for an answer.

I try to make an explanation in my head and fail to do so.

So I just give her a shrug. "I really don't have the answer for that right now." I really think I deserve a break now.

Ayane crosses her arms, "So she's officially a member of this club now?"

"S--So what if I am?" Nelia gets in.

"I don't like that." Ayane says blantly.

"What is it to you?" Still trembling.

Ayane's cute face pinched together, "Can you just shut up?"

"Eek--"

Ayane turns to Remelia, the president of the clubroom (apparently.) As an actual student in this school, she knows how a clubroom works (though she never joined any). The president of a club is the one in charge of managing the clubroom members, so to Ayane's eyes this is more of Remelia's fault than me. "And you're okay with this?"

Ayane's hands pointing at Nelia.

Remelia looks at the 'this' and scratches her chin, "What's wrong with it?"

"Everything."

"Pl, please stop referring to me as this," Nelia sniffs.

"Hm," She starts to stroke her silver hair, "I don't really care about the small matter."

"Hah?" Ayane acts like it's the most ridiculous thing she ever heard, "You elected her as your co-president is a small matter?"

"Why yes… How do I put it in a way you people understand. The answer to your basic question is, yes, it is. As long as I get to be the Queen President, co-president--a small matter--is not of my concern."

Some queen you are.

"Some president you are," Ayane mocks.

But again, Remelia has taken that as a compliment. "I know."

"I was being sarcastic."

"I know."

Ayane begins to tilt her head, "Do you even know what sarcastic means?"

"I know," Remelia nods gracefully.

We all think she doesn't.

Remelia feels offended by the sudden silence. Her body heaves up, "Is this doubt I'm feeling? Sure, I'll show you all. I'll show you all the best sacwastics-thingy. It's only fair, I'm the best queen for that anyway."

She can't even spell that right.

Remelia turns to me with sharp eyebrows, "Human! Listen to my sacasitity. Though I hate your disobedience and your act of denial to me, as your queen, I still appreciate you. You are very precious to my plan on dominating the whole world. You look lame as heaven, but useful as my third arm."

Her sarcastic sentence is so good that she even put a weird metaphor in it.

To Nelia and Ayane, they only think the president is using the chunnibyou'est way as possible to try explaining what sarcasm means.

It might be cute.

But to both me and her, we know she just exposed herself.

Nelia whispers with a twinkle in her eyes, "Oh wow not even a blush. That's my president for you."

Remelia continues, coughing proudly. "I'm being sarcasting here."

In the end, everyone just knows it's a fact that Remelia has a very small vocabulary.

"Oh, and also," She throws me a look, "I'm taking charge of the situation right now."

If you do anything to them, I wouldn't be hesitate to act.

'Too bad, I will.'

Nelia snaps us back into the room with her loud, cheerful noise (I say noise because it's not only her voice that is loud, her breathing and the foot tapping too.)

"I wish I could be like you, Ms President Queen! Not even blushing after revealing so much underneath what's in your clothes, you are amazing. Ah, by underneath your clothes I mean your heart!"

And now the strange choice of words disease hops to Nelia too.

"All right, all this pointless talk is pulling my skirt down," believe it or not that comes from Ayane. I think the SCOW (strange choice of words.)

disease is spreading around the club. I just made a weird word too.

Ayane continues, "I'm joining the club."

Is this, like, from the disease too or…

Ayane shakes her head, "I'm sorry if that comes across as a joke but I'm being serious here.

Ayane gives me a soft look, "I'm sorry for this, Sensei. I will explain to you later. But now this is between me and the president of the clubroom."

Ayane knows that as a homeroom teacher, I can only look out for the club in a limited aspect. Recruiting members is not my responsibility. But technically, it's not Remelia's too. She's not even the real president. We don't have any.

But it's too late to say she's not now.

Oh man.

But maybe there's still a little window for me to avoid this.

Her eyes lock on Remelia.

And the scarlet eyes check on her. "Hm, what makes you think you're worth joining my legion?"

I can't let this continue, it doesn't feel right to me. "Ayane--"

But my voice is blocked by a small white hand. Remelia glances at me, "Your turn is over. It is mine now."

I was about to say something back until Ayane started nodding. "I'm sorry, Sensei but she's for once right. It's not your responsibility but the president of the clubroom."

She knows I wouldn't let her. Well, at least I tried it.

Sigh.

And now Ayane is against me too.

This world is really slowly crisping into hell each second.

Nelia has been shaking her head as if she tries to fan the room, "no no no no, as the co-president, no."

"That's not you to decide, idiot," Ayane says, annoyed.

"Hurm… at least idiot is better than just it," Nelia coops with the insult.

Ayane turns back to Remelia, "I know we have a rough start knowing each other. But I can tell you another thing about me. I'm useful."

"Oh?" The vampire princess licks her lips, "Useful, how so?"

"Do you want me to show?"

"Of course."

"All right," Ayane begins to crack her finger as her eyes point at the girl beside her, "But I do need someone to help me demonstrate. The co-president seems eager to help."

"Eek--" Nelia shakes the terrible imagination she had, "Please don't!"

"Oh but I insist, I have to prove something to the president at least."

"Eek--" Her eyes rustle to the president, "Please, just let her join already."

"Hm? Just a minute ago you sounded like you didn't want her to?" Remelia says.

"Yeah, what changed your mind?" Ayane chimes.

Nelia gulps, "I--I just had a sudden change of heart. It is proven possible now for that to happen."

Ayane nods, "Is that so?"

Remelia smiles at the two. "I like you," she points her long nail at Ayane, "To get the co-president this scared, you indeed have a lot of potential under my hand."

'I, I, I'm not scared!" Nelia throws her arm defensively.

Ayane throws her a glare.

"Eek!" She blocks the glare with both of her arms.

"Good," Ayane responds to Remelia. "Am I in now?"

Remelia sways her finger, "Oh, not yet. I just need you to confirm something."

"What is that?"

"To become a member, you shall agree of the following: I, this one who said this, shall be your queen from now on."

"..."

"Do you accept me as the president, queen, general, emperor of your life from now on."

Ayane shrugs, "Whatever."

"Is that a yes?"

"Whatever."

"All right." Somehow she took it as a yes. I don't know what's the thought process behind this, and I don't think I'll even understand if I find out.

… So Ayane is a member of the occult clubroom already? To think it couldn't be more worse today.

"Ehem..." Remelia clears her throat loudly. She always does this when she's going to give 'order.'

"And as your queen," She stands up with her hands held up in the air. "I order you two…"

There's a sudden silence in the room.

What the president is planning for them is the big question.

Remelia burns the question as she shouts, "To get back home now!"

She drops her hand down as if to chop a period in the conversation.

Nelia tilts her head, "Y--you want us to go home already?"

"Yes. And I'm not going to take anymore excuses. I have an important thing to discuss with the Human here and your queen doesn't want you two to be here with us. Begone. Now."

"But--"

"Out!"

Nelia whimpers, slowly grabbing herself up.

Ayane just sighs and gives me a glance. "I'll be waiting for you in front of the gate."

"Me too,' Nelia chimes.

Ayane throws her a glare.

"I guess not, I'm a busy girl anyway. I--I'm going first then," Nelia excuses herself from the room.

Ayane follows her from behind.

Bam.

The door closed.

And just like that, the two problematic girls are gone.

Remelia rubs her nose, "See? I just get rid of them at once. How awesome am I? Hah."

Yeah.

But she somehow just made it worse.
