Chereads / My Students Are Vampires! / (1 Day) Halloween Special 2024

(1 Day) Halloween Special 2024

It's Halloween again, and I try to hold on to the foolish hope that this time will be peaceful. But who am I kidding? The three of them live to cause trouble.

As I step into the clubroom, chaos is already in full swing. Remelia, her silver hair glowing under the flickering lights, is bouncing on the couch with unstoppable energy. Her crimson eyes blaze with excitement, her single vampire fang gleaming in a grin that's more menacing than joyful. Her flushed cheeks suggest she's been doing this for quite some time now.

Around her, her "loyal servants" Nelia and Bobo clap their hands and cheer.

"My Queen, your grace truly knows no bounds!" Bobo exclaims, her usual maid uniform neatly in place, her expression one of absolute reverence.

Remelia's laughter fills the room, raspy with exhaustion. "You think so, Bobo?"

"Miss President, you're absolutely unparalleled up there! Flying high, it's truly your style!" Nelia cries with wide-eyed admiration, her voice almost a squeal.

Remelia tosses her head back, her hands on her hips. "Then let it be known—my throne belongs above all!"

I edge closer, undetected and slightly curious about how long this madness will last.

Then it happens.

With one overly enthusiastic bounce, Remelia catapults into the air. *Thwack!* Her head smacks against the ceiling.

"My Queen!" Nelia and Bobo gasp in horror, frozen as Remelia hovers in midair, glaring up at the ceiling as if it has somehow insulted her honor.

She grits her teeth, one hand on her head. "Damn you, Heaven! This interference won't keep me down! I'll conquer you soon enough!"

Bobo scurries to her side, worry etched on her face. She presses a handkerchief to Remelia's head with a look of almost ceremonial solemnity. "Please, My Queen, let this sacred cloth heal you."

With a nod of sage understanding, Remelia closes her eyes, the throbbing pain evidently vanishing as her belief in Bobo's "healing powers" takes over. She straightens up, the faintest smile on her lips.

Then she notices me. Her crimson eyes narrow.

"Human! Do you know what today is?" she demands, voice dripping with dramatic flair.

"Yes," I reply flatly, knowing what's coming next.

"Today marks the beginning of Heaven's reckoning, the day they secretly named in my honor—Halloween!"

It's no use trying to reason with her. She's convinced Halloween has something to do with her because people dress as vampires. The fact that it has absolutely nothing to do with her? Not even a consideration.

"Miss President," Nelia pipes up, one finger pressed thoughtfully to her chin, "shouldn't we have costumes if we're going to bring Halloween to Heaven?"

Remelia stops, blinking at Nelia as if her words have unlocked a new realm of possibilities. "You're absolutely right! To the changing room!"

I blink. Changing room? The clubroom doesn't have a changing room, does it?

But Bobo, demonstrating her almost supernatural maid skills, somehow produces a set of dressing drapes from thin air and wraps them around Nelia and Remelia. Behind the fabric, the sound of clothes rustling, hushed giggles, and conspiratorial whispers fill the air.

I can only sigh. This club needs Ayane back. She's the only one who could keep these three from diving headfirst into every ridiculous plan they come up with. Without her, I'm left as the sole witness to these chaotic attempts at "world domination."

When is she coming back anyway?

At last, the drapes part, and three figures stand before me, their expressions expectant, their costumes... questionable.

Remelia steps forward first. She's draped in Bobo's maid uniform, though it's far too big on her. The sleeves swallow her arms, and the hem trails the floor like a bizarre bridal train. Only her fingertips are visible, barely poking out from the voluminous fabric. She tries to strike a dignified pose, though the effect is more "small child wearing their parent's clothes."

"Behold!" she declares, adopting a posh, aristocratic tone. "I am Bowa, the impoverished maid, here to enchant you and steal your heart for all eternity!"

The trio turns to me, eyes shining, awaiting my response.

"Looks... amazing, Remelia. I think with that look, Heaven might just let you in without a second thought," I say, deadpan.

Remelia grins in triumph, convinced that my dry sarcasm is nothing but high praise.

Next, Nelia steps forward. She's transformed into an ethereal ghost, swathed in layers of white robes. The sleeves are so long that they spill down like spectral rivers around her, and a strip of cloth obscures her face, with only her eyes barely peeking out through the fabric.

"Boo," she whispers, her voice deliberately hollow.

I feign a shiver. "Terrifying."

Then it's Bobo's turn. She's changed into... well, she's actually just in her regular clothes, the same outfit she'd wear on any given day, as if she's planning to go sing karaoke rather than ascend to the celestial realm.

Remelia nods in approval, completely oblivious to the absurdity of the situation. They launch into a conversation about what they'll need for their "invasion" of Heaven, listing items like "sacred relics," "demon blood," and—of all things—"sparkling water." Apparently, they think it might be a divine beverage.

I sigh, watching them, caught between disbelief and reluctant amusement. Another Halloween, another wild scheme. It's going to be a long night.

______

Hi hello there, this series is still ongoing as you can see, please don't give up on them! The new volume is upcoming, it's going to be filled with action and all. Remelia and her servants only growing stronger. During my long break, two years lmao, I have also learned a lot. I was writing a novel in Korean website, translating my story with my friend who knows Korean. The experience taught me how to write a lot more engaging story.

Anyway, that's all from your boy, Foxxy.

Also, I am also uploading the story I mentioned I worked on:

Villain by Default.

Summary:

As the third-rate villain in his favorite game, Eclipse is cursed with a reputation and a trait that make building alliances nearly impossible. Doomed to be outshined and ultimately killed, he's left with two fiercely loyal maids and one goal: to exploit his knowledge of every twist, power-up, and secret betrayal to turn the story—and his fate—on its head
