As I shut my door behind me, I dashed over to my reading table and grabbed my phone, dialing Bella's number in a frenzy.
In the time she took to pick up my call, I kept on hoping and praying that the name Patrick was merely a coincidence and he was just a random person who happened to bear the same name.
"Hello?" Bella said as she picked up my call.
"Hey, Bella!" I chuckled nervously.
"How's it going?" I asked, scratching my head as I wondered how to break the news to her.
"Fine, fine. I just got back from class. Is anything the matter? Did you find out anything yet?" She enquired.
"Something like that..." I said through clenched teeth as I tried to sound cheerful and not ominous since I still didn't know if it were the same Patrick.
"Uh oh, what's wrong? Your tone is off," She said, concern in her voice as she caught on to my nervousness.
