Romulus didn't come back and Dahlia began to get worried. Seriously, why was she even worried? The man was a powerful vampire for crying out loud and was capable of taking care of himself.
It was quite funny, she had been complaining of him being a lazy king who neglected his duty and now he left, to probably take on "his duties" She missed his company. Although he was annoying, Romulus being with her the last night made her feel less lonely.
