Chereads / Prince, Take Away My Innocence! / Chapter 21 - Prince's Room

Chapter 21 - Prince's Room

Tucking her hair behind her ear, Hena followed the butler's footsteps and entered the room. As she looked around, she found wood-paneled walls, adding beautiful detail in the interior. She could feel the added warmth but also style to a room.

The elegant woodwork and patterned floors made it feel luxurious and elegant. The one who designed the room opted for elegant designs with a specific detail that made the room stand out. The lighting became a great touch of inspiration and a chandelier was present at the center of the room.

It was designed by Queen Rachel she could tell.

She didn't expect for a vampire's workplace to have this kind of design as she always had that impression that they only work with a big, spacious space using candles as the main source of light.

This time, Hena caught a glimpse of the prince working with his documents on his table. He appeared to be very serious, not even glancing up to check on her. The way how his inner white long-sleeved polo shirt was tucked up to his elbow coiffed to perfection.

Hena took notice of the three unbuttoned buttons of his shirt, making him appear even more alluring. His buff muscles were a little bit exposed to the way how he was wearing his clothes.

"Prince, Lady Hena has arrived."

Luka paused for a while and his gaze shifted upwards. His red eyes met Hena with a neutral gaze. He appeared to be quiet and serious, far from his usual playful character.

Seeing a new side of the prince appeared interesting. Of course, many people have said it before but they have said that the prince was one of the best rulers the kingdom could ever have.

Although Hena thought that they were all empty words, she could now see the reason why.

"Have you already eaten?" Prince Luka asked with a blank stare.

Hena was a bit surprised, not expecting to hear such a caring question from him.

"Yes, I have already eaten. And you?"

"I haven't eaten yet."

"Right at this hour?"

"That's right."

The butler cleared his throat and said, "Would you like me to prepare your favorite food, milord?"

Hena turned her head towards the butler. She was supposed to be his future wife but of course, she never knew what he liked.

"Yes, Roy. Please do."

"Then I shall serve you your favorite mushroom soup, milord." The butler turned towards Hena and asked, "Would you like to have some as well, Lady Hena?"

"N…" Hena's voice was small and hesitant. She muttered, "No."

"Well then," the butler bowed his head and continued, "I'll leave for now."

The butler went out of the room without any noise.

Prince Luka leaned his elbows on the table crossed his legs. With a raised brow, he spoke, "What made my future wife come here in my office?"

"I…" She trailed off before continuing. "I came here with the intention of wanting an heir."

He appeared to be surprised for a second. Luka cleared his throat and stood up from his seat, approaching her with a smirk plastered on his face.

"All of sudden, you wanted to produce me an heir?" He asked, "For what reason?"

"You already know the reason."

"And here I thought you want to do it in an appropriate time and place," Luka mumbled, staring at her lips for a long time. "What made you change your mind?"

Hena was silent and didn't say anything. She didn't want to admit that she wanted to produce an heir because she wanted to rise in position, nor it was because she wanted to secure herself as his partner.

"I just…"

"Just a few weeks staying here and you have already become bold." Luka leaned in closer towards her and whispered through her ear, "I think my food is already right in front of me, aren't I right?"

Hena blinked her already rounded eyes. She was surprised to hear what he just said. The air he breathed out sent a ticklish sensation all over her senses. She knew what he had meant, and even if she already set foot in this room with a prepared mind, doing it right here and right now made her cower for a bit.

She had been married to Prince Mil back when she was in the North Kingdom, but she had never slept with him. She hated his guts and only married him for the sake of the kingdom.

Hena had never felt lonely but she had once craved for a passionate love even once, but becoming a great ruler to her kingdom was even more important for her. Now that she's doing this act for the sake of her kingdom, she didn't really know how to face the situation.

She froze when Luka's teeth had already touched her neck. Anticipating the strange sensation made her ball her small fists. But his teeth never sunk in deep and instead, he backed out.

"You're being bold, but it seems like you're still not ready after all," Luka commented as he stared at her with a gentle gaze. She cupped her right cheek and sighed, "As I already told you, it would be better to do it when you're already ready. It's still not the right time."

"No.."

"I know you only want the best for your kingdom, but before that, you need to listen to your body," Luka said as he turned around, hiding his facial expression from her. "You already look this loveable and beautiful, I might not be able to control myself."

Instead of backing down, she took a deep breath and grabbed his right arm, making him face her. She took a few steps closer towards him and raised her calves. It wasn't quite enough for her to level herself to him so she kept on trying, her hands fell on his broad chest.

She gave her a peck on his lips and her face immediately reddened in response. Averting her gaze, she blinked fast as she tried to calm her beating heart.

"You already too cute, how on Earth am I able to resist a woman like you?"

Without any warning, he pulled her from her thighs with a short heave, his hands over her skirt. Her legs had been repositioned to wrap over his thighs, and she was securely perched on him.

Their positions forced them to sit face to face, with her legs wrapped around his waist and her neck flushed scarlet as she looked at him.

"Hena."

The way he called her name made her heart beat even faster. His deep voice sounded music to her ears. And in a way, it calmed her nervous heart.
