"I did not sign up for this!" Trink mumbled. "This is not what I signed up for!"
Zera finally had enough of her complaints. She stopped running, facing Trink, and pointed the tip of the sword by her throat.
"This isn't what we signed up for, either, and tell you what? My friends and I weren't even aware of the reward. If we were, we would have happily skipped this game altogether."
Trink glared at Zera.
"Of course, you are so rich. You don't care about that. Not everyone has been lucky enough to be born rich."
Zera scoffed.
"Believe me. You don't know the half of it. And may I remind you, you chose to be here. So right now, you could either run with us or go your separate way. Your choice."
Turning around, Zera returned to moving up a couple of steps ahead. The building was like a labyrinth. A never-ending set of stairs had been nailed by them.
