Zera blinked upon hearing the loud whistle ringing in her ears. The first thing she noticed was the camouflage-colored flag hanging by the foot of a bunk bed.
Squinting, Zera took a better look, and her eyes grew wide when a muscular man barged inside.
She didn't even notice the door until he saw him walk in. Zera barely caught sight of his face when he blew the whistle again, almost leaving her deaf.
"GET UP, SOLDIERS!"
Thud!
Someone from the top bunk jumped and had stood by Zera's bedside. It took her several seconds before realizing who it was.
Astherielle tugged at her, pulling her to stand in attention, a military stance. Her friend was dressed in camouflage pants and a beige shirt.
Zera managed to look down at herself and found out that she was wearing the same one.
