Xaoi Shing's POV
When Soffee lost his consciousness, I properly lay him to the bed. My mind was still in process of everything I just witness.
When I remember something.(Shit! I forgot to dress him up). I went into my closet searching for the clothes that will most likely fit him. When I found a perfect set of clothes, I then hurriedly went near him to dress him up.
(Please no erection. Please no erection. Please no erection). I silently prayed. I put the pants on him without look at his pushy-lushy thing. (Just kidding, of course I did look. How am I supposed to properly dressed him up if I won't look, dummy.) When I'm done dressing him up, I put the quilt on to warm him up.
Looking at him now is a total different from my usual Soffee. He look like a normal human if he only don't have those ears and tail.
He sleep peacefully, that even a mosquito will be outweep going near him. He looks like a teenage baby. With his long lashes, pointed noise, rosy cheeks and kissable lips.(Wait, did I just say kissable lips? Like kissable? Oh come on, what I mean is his baby lips. You misheard it. I said baby lips not kissable lips. Don't misunderstand me.)
(He must have a hard time). I'm still deep in my thoughts when I remember how he suddenly came into my life, changing me completely. It feels like yesterday. How time quickly went by.

(FLASHBACK)
"Shing-er, are you going home now?" -classmate 1
"Huh? Oh no, I still need to go to the library. I'm going to have a quick review"
"Man, why do you always look at the books? I'm started to get worry, you know. You always refuse our invitation. You don't have time hanging out with us. What's the problem?" -classmate 2
"I'm sorry but I just couldn't make it. I have a lot of things in my plate and I don't have time to play around. I'm really really sorry. But next time I'll make sure to join you, haha"
"You always said that. Anyway, we won't force you since it's always been like that but next time, make sure to blend in okay?" -classmate 3
"Yes, yes haha"
"Oh by the way, Ru Shi was looking for you earlier"

"Ah, okay thank you"
After waving them goodbye, I went straight to the library to work on my remaining time.
I'll just texted Ru Shi later.

It's past 6pm when I finished my reviews. I started to put away my things making sure that everything is neat and clean and of course, organize before heading out of the library.
I walk straight to the school gate, while thinking of an easy passage to access towards my uncle's clinic.
(It's already 6pm. My uncle must be worried). I was in my own thoughts when I suddenly remember something. There's indeed a short cut at the back of the school building that connects to the main road. Though, not a lot of student uses it because of how scary it look like. But since there's no other choice.
I went back to my way and run towards at the back of the school building.
(It is quite dark in here). With the only option I have. I took my phone out and press the flashlight button. I, then started to walk inside the so called 'short cut'. While walking deeper and deeper, I grope across something.
(What is that?) Without a second thought, I went near it, not thinking about my own safety. That's when I realize it was a puppy. A wounded puppy. He has lots of scratches like he was bitten up. I squat down to check him up close.
"Are you Okay little pup?" I asked.
I slap my own face with my palm because of my own stupidity.
(Goodness me. Why did I asked if he's okay when it is clearly visible that he's not. I now started to believe that I really am an idiot). I look at the wounded puppy. Thank goodness he's still breathing.
I pick him up with my hand. Gently lifting him while trying not to touch his wounds that might severe his condition. Then place him on my chest. I ran as fast as I could towards my uncle's clinic. When I reach it, I quickly went inside but I couldn't find my uncle. Then I went straight to his office. I slam the door open making my uncle startled.
"For Gods sake, Shing, you surprise me. You can enter the office without slamming the door."
"I'm sorry uncle. But it's an emergency. Please take a look at him"
I hurriedly put the puppy in the table for my uncle to check.
"What happened?"
"I don't know"
"A puppy? Where did you find it?"
"At the...umh"
"Where?"
"At the back of school building"
"What are you doing in there?"
"Taking a short cut?"
" That's dangerous. What if something bad happened to you? What if you encounter some dangerous animals on the way? What will I tell to your mom if something happens to you? Shing, I'm too old. Please don't make me worry"
"I'm sorry uncle. It won't happen again, I promise. But before that please check up on him. He has a lot of wounds and is bleeding"
My uncle looked at me straight in the eyes.l as if reading my thoughts. He then put his stethoscope on his neck and place it on the puppy's body.
"Mmmm"
"How is he?"
It took him a minute before he answer.
"Oh, his fine. His heartbeats are normal including his other organs. He's just too weak and his wounds are not fatal so no need to worry"
"Thank goodness"
"He need a lot of rest. Although his not in any danger, there's still some sign of abuse and trauma in him. I will give you some medicine to feed on him when he wakes up. All we can do for now is to clean his wounds and put bandages on it to avoid infections. I will also inject antibiotics on him just to make sure"
"Oh thank you, uncle"
"No problem. I'll head out first to buy our food"
"I'll do it uncle"
"No need. Just stay here and look after him"
"Okay"
When I'm sure that my uncle is out of the clinic, I take a look at the puppy who sound asleep.
(You poor little thing. What did you do to suffer like that? What makes them do this to you?)
"Shing, come here, food is ready"
"Yes, coming uncle"
Before I went out, I make sure that he's comfortable in his sleep. I place a pillow on both his side so that he won't easily fall when he move. Then I walk to the door. I took a glance at him before heading fully out of the office.
