Verlian laid in bed staring at Ravynne who was staring back at him. Her face was red, obviously embarrassed over what they had done the night prior. He cupped her face and rubbed her cheek with his thumb. She bit her lip and batted her eyelashes with a shy expression on her face and her skin was burning hot.
"What are you blushing for?" Verlian propped himself up one elbow and petted Ravynne's hair. His tone was quiet, soft, and caring and his gaze never left hers. He couldn't stop staring at her perfect features and caressing her fine, silky soft hair.
"I'm shy..." She pulled the blankets up and covered the lower half of her face up to her nose, although she still never broke eye contact with him. 'It's more embarrassing that he isn't embarrassed.' She thought as she examined his strong and confident face. His eyes were full of love and desire, and she felt her heart begin to beat faster as he leaned in, only a few inches from her face.
