The town of Segundo was conquered with the downfall of the hero Philip.
Arlo glanced towards the skeleton soldier which was shining with a yellowish gild.
Yes, the hero Philip was now a skeleton soldier. He even had nearly equal fog stored up in him with all the other soldiers.
Demons were renovating the town in order to settle in there. İt was the beginning of their bloody conquest.
The wounded soldiers rested inside the remaining intact houses while the other ones carried debris and construction materials in order to build the place anew.
Arlo also had the right to raise the fallen soldiers who weren't demons. The king of the demons wanted his comrades to be buried properly.
Arlo wanted to rest and take advantage of this peaceful situation but he knew that there was going to be more bloodshed and death.
His main problem was the revenant betraying him. İt was the first time Arlo ever witnessed any of his soldiers being able to resist or even move against his will.
His skull was starting to hurt because of the lack of fog he gained in the past days. Raising Philip took nearly half of the fog he had stored.
The former heros lovers never left the hero's side. Even if he was a skeleton. They cried for days and begged Arlo to keep his soul intact. Arlo couldn't kill them since the demons despised those who killed without an honorable reason.
Over at the capital city the word of the hero Philip being slain by a demon had spreaded. The nobles were restarting the ancient spell to summon another hero. Citizens were worried as their shining star had been defeated by evil.
The king's brother Duke who was the proud father of the Duchess led the summoning.
Countless magicians, druids and casters poured their mana into the magic circle that was drawn with a piece of charcoal. The black circle started to glow with a golden color. The spell worked! After the fog settled down in the grand garden of the royalty a naked human emerged from the magic circle.
"Greetings, my name is Fred but call me Freid." The teenager said with a smile.
"Due to my observation I believe that I was summoned here, correct?" He asked.
The magicians and the nobles stood silent with shock. Normally the hero should emerge totally unconscious from the spell. This was the first time anyone was awake, let alone talking.
"Now, I am not the fighter type." He said. "İf you get me some paper i will share the technology of my world with you dear nobles."
