I wake up to my alarm clock ringing in my ear like a child begging for candy. My doorbell rings, so I get up and open the door. There's a suitcase. I remember from yesterday, it's probably the weapons. It's silent. There's nothing I can hear, no cars honking, no birds chirping. Everyone must be hiding. There's an outfit along with the weapons. It's a tracksuit with many pockets (probably for the weapons). I change into the tracksuit and insert all the knives in the pockets. I realise that there was a pill as well with a note saying 'Take the pill. It will help you alot.'
I decided to take the pill without hesitation.
I head outside wearing a purge mask along with the hood. I have a baseball bat in my hand ready to kill some people. I first go to the first grocery store knowing that there will be a lot of people (hopefully). I enter holding the baseball bat against my shoulders. There's no one here to my surprise though I hear some rustling in the back. So I enter swinging the bat side to side. "Helloooooo" I say. I go to the back where the staff members always are. I see a middle-aged man struggling to keep still. I tilt my head, almost feeling bad. "Found you" I say as I swing the bat against his head. I cringe as I hear the crack of his head breaking. I laugh almost feeling bad.
I search the store and decide to do some shopping, I mean stealing. I grab a cart and take everything I want. I go to the payment centre and see a cashier still working. I smile and say "Yay, more fun." I take my cart to the cashier. "Hi there, stranger." I say. She drops the scanner. "Surprise!" I say. I smack her with the bat and shoot her.
I laugh thinking I can get used to this. I go out pulling my cart with my left hand. I hear some rustling against the trees and bushes. I slowly walk towards it and see something. There is someone there. Two people actually. Kids. "You can come out." I say. They both come out. I look at them with a sad face, one of my arms crossed against my chest and one on my face. "I'm sorry." I say as I pull out 2 guns and shoot them.
I stare at their body as if I'm waiting for them to move but they're dead. I walk away as I feel a slight pinch of pity for the two kids. I take my cart and go to a nearby park and eat a chicken sandwich and some juice. I see a young woman walking around. She sees me and walks up to me and I realize it's my girlfriend, May. She sits next to me and says ''What are you doing''. I look at her and say ''What do you think?''. She looks at me and says ''Eating, I guess. Well, did you hear about the killer? I'm so worried.'' I say ''Yeah, I actually did.'' . I smile at her and put a strand of hair behind her ear as she smiles at me. I bring out my pistol and show her. I pretend that it's for self defence when I shoot her. I finished my sandwich as if nothing had just happened.
I wait for more people to come at the park. I see an old man but I don't say anything. I just sat there. He comes near me while I watch him. I grab my sword and slash his throat. I flinched at the sight but didn't say anything. I grin and walk away to go to my parents house.
