Chapter 13 - Made a Will

Shen Hui remembered very clearly when her mother had just passed away. She had gone to the hospital to handle related matters. As soon as she came out, a few hooligans had blocked her in a hidden corner, threatening her to give them the bag and even asking her to take something out, at that time, she had been beaten up several times by the hooligans. If it wasn't for Jing Heng's coincidental appearance, Shen Hui didn't know if something even scarier would have happened.

"If we can find those people and prove that they were the ones who came to deal with you, then we will have a better chance of winning when we confront them in court."

Hearing Jing Heng's words, a trace of doubt flashed through Shen Hui's eyes. Why did she feel that the Jing Heng in front of her was so wise as if he was unfathomable?

"What are you thinking about?" Jing Heng saw that Shen Hui was in a daze and was very puzzled. Did he say something that made people think deeply?

Shen Hui shook her head. "I'm just thinking. This was almost a month ago. I can't even remember what those people looked like. It's probably not easy to find them."

"It doesn't matter if we can find them or not. We can try. After we find them, we'll have an excuse in court. The public will naturally stand on our side because even if there's a written document, there's no witness. They can say that the written document was forged by you."

"That won't happen. Back then, my grandmother did a property notary and also made a will. On the will, the allocation of the house is clearly stated, so I'm not worried," Shen Hui hurriedly said.

Jing Heng's eyes flashed. "That's naturally for the best."

"But why do I feel that you know a lot of things?" Shen Hui looked at Jing Heng in confusion. Jing Heng was undoubtedly very good-looking. His deep eyes, high nose bridge, and the most beautiful thing was his strong jawline, if it weren't for the fact that he was moving bricks on the construction site, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he was a rich young master.

The most important thing was that Jing Heng actually knew so many things. He really didn't look like an ordinary worker.

"When I'm at work, I have nothing to do. I like to listen to the gossip of my workmates. After listening to them, I naturally know more." Jing Heng glared at Shen Hui as if he was blaming Shen Hui for her distrust.

"But the way you looked just now made me feel like you were some rich man's son who was wandering outside. You know everything, but on second thought, how could such a good thing happen to me?" Shen Hui stuck out her tongue mischievously, she naively voiced out her thoughts.

Jing Heng's breathing stopped, but he quickly covered it up. "If I were a rich man's son, I wouldn't have worked at the construction site to move bricks. I'm going to be late, so I'll leave first. I'll leave the car with you. Aren't you going to the hospital to submit your information today?"

"No need. It's very convenient for me to catch the subway." Shen Hui hurriedly shook her head. No matter what, Jing Heng was the one who bought the car. How could she drive while Jing Heng takes the subway?

"The construction site is dirty. Although it's a second-hand car, I can't bear to drive it to such a dirty place. Be careful when you drive. If you're not familiar with it, don't drive it. Wait until I come back from work to take you for a few laps."

Shen Hui didn't know how to refuse, so she drove Jing Heng's car to the City B Hospital. She looked at the recruitment materials and related procedures prepared at the side, took a deep breath, got out of the car, and headed to the human resources department of the hospital. Everything went smoothly. Next week, she could directly participate in the pre-employment training and then start work.

However, Shen Hui never expected to meet two people she didn't want to see the most when she left the hospital.
